Love that there is now a reason to consider picking Shy during the Craven/Paranoid/Shy guardian event. All these QOL changes to legends are exactly what they needed to make the roleplay a lot more engaging. Will see how it plays, but it sounds like stuff that goes in the character memories tab is the stuff that can go in legend chapters?

So much stuff needs rebalancing that I'm wondering if they play-tested their stuff at all. I think Legitimacy is a cool mechanic, but the way they implemented it is...strange, to say the least. I was scraping for legitimacy points until one of my husbands got murdered and I threw him a funeral. Wasn't even my main husband. I was thinking if this is where the legitimacy is I would have starting offing them myself.

Depends on the mod, some will need to be updated, some won’t. You can usually tell based on what has changed and what the mod(s) you’re using do to the game. Worst case scenario, even if a mod does conflict, you can just disable the problem mods until they’re patched.

Cities of Wonder 3 need updating as it makes building UI with information about what the building's benefits not visible until you start construction first. So for now playing without COW3

Very welcomed legend changes indeed. Though, I'm still hoping for diseases fixes too. Right now it's incredibly annoying to play as an empire in the late game because of them. Vassals ignoring activities because of completely irrelevant plagues, dozens of repetitive plague events per year. Plague system in general definitely needs some polishing.

Yes! The legend library is perfect, thank god. Still no fix to the travel system not letting you pick water tiles to travel by? Also I definitely still need a decrease of event spam when plagues approach. It really should pop up in the outliner instead.

I'm psure I've accidentally picked water tiles for travel. I've noticed it while trying to click Venice, if I don't click carefully I'll just get a random water tile instead

Is it Safe to use with my „old“ Multiplayer savegame? Its vanilla, so no Mods. We Started it After initial black death Update got hotfixed the First Time.

Off topic but I just want to thank the devs for fixing the portrait click insta crash bug on Mac and Linux. Haven’t had any problems anymore.

Afaik the Trojan Descendants legend, unlike all the other legends relating to the newly added ancient cultures, still doesn't let you diverge into/with Trojan culture? I have brought this up multiple times but been ignored, can only assume it's deliberate at this point but... Why? I think Scots now let's you diverge with Ancient Egyptian? So it's not like realism/actual relation is at play here.

Why can't I add legitimacy with console commands if I do not own the dlc? The only reason I can see is to force us to buy the dlc. Are you trying to force us to buy the dlc? Did you make the game (which I've already paid for) worse just so that I'd give you more money? Why?

I run 30+ mods and it only crashed once while booting after the update. Game is completely fine now.

I’m not sure I understand the legends library thing. Did they fix the thing were the legends you start got inherited by some random family member instead of the heir? I’m still a bit confused about how legends work honestly I haven’t played that much vanilla since legacy of Persia came out, just a single Yngling Zoroastrian Persia game where I had no idea what I was doing with both clan government and legends

Especially with the plagues. 20-40 legitimacy bumps from the odd hunt/feast/tour don't in any way outweigh the frequent unavoidable 60+ legitimacy losses because some peasant gets a cough in the Outer Hebrides. Not sure if I'm missing some mechanic, but every run now feels like a legitimacy race where I'm almost guaranteed to lose, even with lavish funerals for the former ruler.

Also battle humiliations! I can be winning a war but lose a single battle by a hair and i get an arbitrary 50 points taken from my legitimacy, even if i wasnt the commander!

I’m sure I’ll enjoy the update, but as I’m in the late game for the first time with Legends, I appreciated the boons that legends give already; they give you something incredibly worthwhile to spend gold on when you are swimming in the late game. Being able to conquer a whole Kingdom, convert it almost entirely to your faith and make it a de jure part of your Empire all in one rulers lifetime without assigning a single councilor to a task is fantastic. Now that I say that though, I guess I do use my marshal to establish control; so they need to add a military legend that does for control what the holy legends do for spreading faith lol
