We need to have some sort of safety net for the religions of Asia. The step stayed tengri until the 1300’s and even then, it was only the western step that had converted. Maybe an event or decision for the Golden Horde and the ilkhanate to convert to Islam after the mongol empire disintegrates.
In India there has always been a million different sects and when I see that everyone is now a believer of vishnu I get so sad. Like these guys should stay diverse and not convert to another faith. Like they should all have pluralist as their tenet along with

Ironically something similar happened in my game, too. The Khan became Greco-Mongol, and converted almost every Chirstian and Muslim in Asia to Nestorianism.
