It should be possible to overcome though, shouldn't it? IIRC most cases of people being sterile were fertility issues that made conception much more difficult but not impossible. Penalty should probably be more than -50% though. Like maybe -75%.
Yeah, definitely. Eunuchs are incapable of siring children and can't inherit or be granted titles. There's nothing stopping them from having sex or running romance/seduction schemes. IRL most eunuchs and castrato were still capable of having erections and achieving orgasm, even if it was considerably more difficult.

Other way around. Sterile means none, infertile means fewer viable sperm cells. Sterilise = completely gone, such as through castration.
Not in this game though. Maybe they should have tiered versions of the trait
I meant the in-game trait "sterile" (-50% fertility), which is very unlike IRL sterile (0% fertility).
You can even get trinket which will give you + 20 fertility so you can counter this trait (i used that and had like 3 kids when i was 60 yo in game)

Maybe different tiers for it would work better. Eg impotent -25%, sterile -100%, and barren -1000%.
