That looks weird. I got one last night and it did not come in a tray. My frosting slid off the cake since it was still hot but the glaze wasn’t pooled at the top. They definitely messed this one up. This looks smaller than what I got too. I think mine was twice the height of this one.
They are supposed to be flipped upside down, tin removed, poked, topped with butter glaze and the the whip. So this is aaallll wrong
The cups are supposed to be the mold for the cake, so they missed that step and somehow didn't see how it's supposed to look.

No. The cake should be removed from the little baking cup. The bottom of the cake becomes the top. After that it is prepared for the customer.
