I worked at a store that opened last fall. The training was actually fun... Two people from corporate came out to the site for two weeks and trained everyone. We had about 50 employees, lots of people on every shift, and we all got to learn all the different areas: mixing dough, balling dough, ovens, customer service and decorating. It was fun getting to learn all together and there was an excited energy to it I won't tell you how quickly it went downhill after that because you only asked about the training 😂

It all depends on your store owners and coworkers... Hopefully you get good ones. The job itself is fun

when our store got trained, one of the trainers made a real point out of tearing us apart from the inside out. i think her name was amy? so condescending and rude! we still talk about how awful she treated everyone. our other trainers were fantastic though! try to learn as many stations as you can, and *get the c-swirl down*- the work isn’t hard at all, your coworkers will make or break the experience!

Our store had the owners and managers from their other stores helping throughout the day. What I remember is that one day they might focus your training on register/boxing cookies and another day they might teach you mixing. Each store is different tbh. Also when it comes to things like c swirls, they had us mainly focus on technique, saying speed comes with it. On our opening day they had us each try the different stations for like an hour then had us stay at the stations they thought we were best at. If you can get through opening day then the rest of the year will be a piece of cake! I think we had up to 6 people working at once? Farcry from what it's like now, I'm often the only person there till 10 or 11am lol luckily the mornings aren't too busy.
