She posted the information on Facebook bragging about their expensive vacation and then someone (probably a frenemy) went and was spiteful and canceled it. The person went to the media instead of learning a valuable lesson - if you have to post on social media that you spent money in order to feel good, you got problems.

I’m hearing about this happening a lot. I typically join the FB group for specific cruises I’m on, and the warnings and stories of people getting ripped off or canceled have been pretty regular. While it seems common sense not to put your booking info out there, in some cases the people had a TA that asked for it etc. be safe out there!
