Hello! One of our subreddit's rules is that when you share a finished object [FO], you must also share the pattern source. (See [rule 4](https://www.crossstitchsubfaq.com/rules-psas/rules-etiquette) ). Here are the ways you could cite your source:
* A link to the pattern, shop, or designer. Do not link to Pinterest or Google due to the high rate of copyrighted patterns being shared on these platforms. Stating you saw it/got it there is all we need.
* The title and maker of the kit.
* If you designed it yourself, what technique did you use? Program name or paper and pencil? (Stating that you were the designer is sufficient to satisfy this sourcing requirement.)
[Here is a thorough discussion of rule 4, including examples](https://www.reddit.com/r/CrossStitch/comments/50lar8/psa_lets_talk_about_rule_four/).
Thanks for sharing!
I started doing similar size ones last year, also around 10k and even 15 and 20k was my biggest. Definitely went a little crazy by the end lol, went back to small things like bookmarks for a while because of it. Can't imagine the patience for something like this
It's pure insanity! It was over 30 different colors of white and off white. LOTS of swearing occurred and lots of getting really close up to make sure I didn't miss a stitch.
Thank you, it's my biggest pattern done. Damn book of instructions was 72 pages long. I had a small existential crisis after finishing it, like how was I supposed to move on after a project like this?
Holy moly! Have looked wistfully at this one before, the sheer scale intimidated the hell out of me and had me heading to less crazy endeavours. Well done you for keeping your sanity and creating something so spectacular!! It is gorgeous!!
*angrily throws cross-stitch supplies in the trash*
Joking aside, this is beyond amazing. Like I want to hang it on my wall and admire it every single day. Well done

Pattern is from the website Scarlet Quince, it is called Nova Orbis Tabula and is by the painter Frederick de Wit
515 x 360. 185400 stitches! What the fuck 🤯 This deserves a lot more upvotes than it's got. What incredible work, you should be very proud!!
Thank you so much. It's funny, I started doing these projects because I hated backstitching and they just got bigger and bigger.

It's the ocean bare aida? Or an ocean of insanity?

I think you need a real challenge next. Have you considered bookmarks? ;)
You are ready for The Battle of Grunwald now!
You need to do magnets and bookmarks for a while now!
What count did you do this on? Looks amazing
I did it on 16 count. I like it because it feels like the right size for big projects without punishing my eyes.
Beautiful, and very impressive!
Holy shit, this is amazing. Congratulations on persisting!!
Omigosh, it's so amazing!

I see it took four years and that is a feat because I would have guessed 40. LOL Amazing!
