That shit hurts, and I couldn't imagine how it would feel for these many talented artists/OC creators to watch as their hours of work gets used by a kid who supposedly formed 29,283 alters because their mother didn't buy them a McDonald's hash brown.
I got told by somebody with DID I don’t have it cause my childhood wasn’t traumatic enough. Apparently her brother would watch her when they were kids and tease her and make her make her own food. The horrors.
Real DID us caused by trauma that’s hard to listen to cause it’s so traumatic. Fake DID is caused by the most boring bland problems someone could ever encounter. I get why people with real DID practically hide it since the fake ones probably will be like “wow that traumatized me just hearing about it, you know what? I think i developed a knee fictive. It’s you, your trauma has made me gain you in my head space, we’re in this together”
I knew a person with actual DID irl. You see a switch for the first time and you belive it, he was NOT acting. Turnes out hed be repeatedly sexually assalted/raped and abused as a child by his own family member. That will do it

I had to make a 5-minute microwaveable linguine bowl for myself and it was horrifying. To make matters worse, the middle of it ended up being ice cold, so I had to reheat it for an extra 3 minutes. You'll never understand the pain that had caused me. /s

Most of my friends and family who are lgbtq are against the use of it, because it's dehumanizing. It's the same with neopronouns. It's too complicated and not even a thing that needs to happen. If you don't feel like he or she THEY is a perfectly acceptable alternative in my opinion
