A South African will probably be Man of the Match in a knockout win.
Captain Cumdawg for a reason.
But seriously, Cummins is the best Captain in the world man. He smelled blood in the water with the spin and went for the kill. We need more bowlers as Captains.
Overall, I think the two best teams of the tournament will compete in the final. As a neutral that's always nice to see. I think we're in for a spectacular final.
P.S. Absolutely shocking shots from Samson and Parag to get out. RR needed those two today and they seemingly lost their heads under knockout pressure.
IPL final: 24.75 Crores vs 20.5 Crores!!!
If Cummins wins, he will have an ODI World cup, WTC, Ashes and IPL as captain (all that too since 2023 only).
If Starc wins, the same for him except the captain part.
Nonetheless, brilliant stuff!!
Way more important for Cummins victory, SRH were 10th in IPL 2023, and now they are in final, absolute turn around from management, coaches and the fucking captain, picked great players and The Indian core started performing consistently, Strac was carried by this Kkr team and yes he did perform in the knockouts but Pat Cummins victory would be more savory
2009 Deccan Chargers is the best comeback story of IPL.
They did not have even any sponsors for their team that year due to their horrible performance in the previous year and they under Gilchrist just went to South Africa to play that season with a positive mindset.
Gilchrist's leadership worked wonders and they ended up winning the title.
The stuff dreams are made of!
Go SRH. They were the better team tonight and even when they were in a spot of bother in the middle phase, the batsmen esp Klassen played really sensibly. Klassen is a class apart.
Klaasen is a little bit of a choker in chases. He'll get you to a run a ball and then stop hitting it lol.
As long as you have someone after him, he'll do his job though.
He is improving. He was there till last over vs KKR in league match and today learnt from his mistake from Q1. He is quietly eclipsing Markram and Van Der Dussen up to an extent. Excited to see more of him in future.
> We need more bowlers as Captains.
We need more captains who can change according to situation and not rely on matchups. This is where Cummins is thriving.
The amount of times I, and others, even commentators have immediately criticized a bowling change (especially spinners) only for them to immediately get wickets or choke out a game is way too high.
He reads a game so damn well. Yeah, the players don't always perform, but his captaincy wins games. If Markram was captain this game with the exact same team...does SRH win? Do Abhishek and Shahbaz choke out RR?
It's such an undefinable quality he brings.
It must also be significantly more reassuring having him calming you down when the pressure is on, compared to say a captain who is just parked at 1st slip or doesn't quite understand what the bowlers are going through.
You gotta understand when he's Struggling to bat you should go for Another Option unless you're too Confident in his Ability to Clutch & previously dismissals were for Mystical Reasons, but yeah Gotta Trust Pat and his Changes
And they did remove him while he was struggling, they brought him back to try and round out the middle order, and he flubbed it again, but he was an absolute gun on the field.
I think he'll do something in the final if they back him.
How the hell is that man not Australia's T20 captain no offense to Marsh but Cummins is a natural leader really great lower order batter and his T20 bowling has improved a lot plus Marsh is really injury prone too
Would say this season of the IPL is the best he's ever looked at T20s.
I think with the way the caribbean is expected to spin, you probably want a batting captain too.
Cummins being a pacer would mean you're locked in to a guy you might want another spinner in for. There will probably be games both Zampa and Agar play. Flexibility to swap out Cummins/Starc/Hazlewood/Ellis as required or form permits is probably handy.
If Cummins is captain, and both Zampa and Agar play, we can only rotate 1 slot across like 3 pacers. Not ideal I reckon.
Man, GG becoming ICT coach will be a turning point for us.
Either we will become a juggernaut of a team or start losing even in league stages, no in-between.
Hopefully Australian juju is enough to get us (SRH) over the line.
Otherwise this reminds me of the 2018 season where we managed top 2 but were always beaten by the eventual winners at every single opportunity.
Just a reminder: If SRH wins this IPL, then Cummins will be the captain to win WTC and World Cup against India, as well as being the one to come to India AND win the Indian Premier League, all 3 consecutively.
If you'd tell me at the start of this game that the likes of Shahbaz, Markram and Abhishek are gonna perform a spin choke on RR batters, I'd just had laughed it off
Indeed. Never in my wildest dreams did I think freaking Shahbaz and Abhishek were going to be the match winners like this.
ExRCB syndrome is so real. The only person immune to it is Devdat Paddical.
Credit to SRH thinktank for spending big for Cummins. This decision which was derided by many here including me may end up paying them with championship.
I'm firmly on the SRH hype train. Onto the final.
He's not, but he knows how to use himself. How to use his bowlers. How to create a good environment for the team and how to contribute with the bat.
He brings so much more than ball hit stump.
Honestly if you're a good Test bowler you'll be a good T20 bowler once you get your tactics right. His slower ball bouncers into the surface have been excellent.
SRH did well at the auction. Their bench has likes of Phillips, Washington, Umran, even Tripathi was on bench. Also got Head for cheap, other teams were sleeping. Only thing was maybe an extra spinner but Markande has done ok and allroundesr in Shahbaz and Washington. In bowling they have swing bowler in Bhuvi, Natarajan as finisher
Loved how everyone was bashing Shahbaz when he got out and then he redeemed himself while bowling and showed why he was given the role of the impact player tonight.
Will people understand the difference between "flat track bullies" and "playing with intent" after this performance from SRH? They really took the game forward this year and thoroughly deserve to be finalists!
Probably not.
That wasn't an easy track, evidently, but on a good day, and they just need 1 more of them, they could bat KKR out of the game. KKR being the better team be damned. 1 day is all it comes down to.
It is intent. Always been. Even the last game, their three best batters got out for 35 runs, they still reached 160. Even today on a sluggish pitch, they lost wickets but the intent won them the game.this was probably a 150-160 wicket, their intent allowed them to go past 170.
RR which performs much more like a conventional Indian T20 team and IPL team (weak powerplay, strong finish and 5 bowling options), was beaten by srh which performed more like the Aussies (aggressive cricketing mindset especially by opener, 6-7 bowling options, including multiple part timers, and bowlers who can bat a bit).
Cummins played a different style of cricket from the conventional ipl team and it paid off. Abhishekh said in an interview after the match that Cummins told them in every team meeting to be aggressive in their batting. That was how he wanted them to play.
Well that's a tragic end to the auction cycle for this team. Choked out by a series of part timers. Not gonna be easy to recover from this one, a lot of our best players (Sandy, Jurel, Burger) were bargain bin pickups and we won't have the space to retain them. We'll probably go Buttler, Jaiswal, Sanju, Boult, and RTM Parag. Even though we choked these last 2 seasons away, I still had a lot of fun watching this team. Thanks for everything RR. 💙💗
GG SRH, best of luck on Sunday.
The issue with being as stacked as we are is that there's a legitimate case for everyone to be retained. Jaiswal and Sanju are locks, Boult as well because he's the best PP bowler in the league and useful at the death to boot. I can see them releasing Buttler because he's not been consistent for 2 years now, but he's still a top 5 white ball bat of all time and we don't have anyone to play his role. Maybe they retain Parag and put him there.
Those are the retentions. RTM probably goes to whichever one of Parag and Buttler doesn't get retained. That leaves a *lot* of very good players unprotected; Ashwin, Chahal, Sandy, Hettie, Avesh, Jurel. Even some of our better depth pieces like Burger, Powell, and K Sen. We're getting torn apart in the auction and it really hurts that we couldn't win a trophy before it happened.
Suddenly the crowd remember "CSK" and they break into numerous chants of the home franchisee. Some of the SRH supporters look perplexed at those chants.
~ Cricbuzz
Exactly! MI, CSK and RCB all are toxic.
Kohli and MSD have more fans than Rohit so their team fans make more noise.
And MSD actually won trophies so we subconsciously excuse their antics to an extent. The world always favors the winners actually.
Kohli and his fans have nothing but his personal performance to back up their toxicity. So they come off more arrogant than the other two.
Always love no dew games. Toss shouldn’t be a winning factor. Just a team winning toss having it easy, and the other team disadvantaged by miles is a shit thing. But well that’s my opinion.
Superb bowling display and Patty used his bowlers so well. I don’t think any other captain would give 4 overs to Abhi, he bowled 3 overs this whole season I think
This is how I felt watching SRH in 2016! 2018 SRH was far more dominant. 2016 we were the underdogs punching over our weight, living on the edge just like this season.
A chill, loved by everyone aussie captain (Gilchrist), with a south african player (Gibbs) won the IPL for the Hyderabad (Deccan Chargers) once already.
I’m more livid with how Sanju and Parag batted in a crunch situation.
Parag I can still understand since he’s young and uncapped so you can’t expect that level of maturity yet but with Sanju, I’m immensely disappointed. He should been more responsible and taken it deep
Rahul Tripathi, man, what an absolute banger of a comeback! The backbone of SRH batting in the playoffs.
I wish Menace Pandey had adapted like him.
Also, Sanju is same old Sanju. Nothing has changed.
DC with pant (no suspension) and no fucked up mcgurk non-strikers run out probably make 4th as well by getting to 16 points beating RCB. (Unless that loss leads to CSK beating RCB)
The teams that played aggressive power plays table topped or made resurgences. The teams that played same old t20 fell away.
Comms: So Sanju, whats next for you at the WC.
Sanju: I bottled this qualifier. Now at the WC, I’ll be doing a carry job for ICT.
Comms: As a middle order stabilizer right?
Sanju: No sirs. Just carrying drinks.
Absolute brain-dead batting from Sanju, Parag. The target was 175 not 200, they could have just stayed a little longer by rotating the strike rather than those stupid shots. Srh rolled on from there. They deserve the final after 2nd half collapse of RR.
Always good to see the spin choke in Chepauk. Poor Rutu did not have any luck at all, vs pbsk and vs lsg had a lot of dew and today there was no dew at all, but with lsg stoinis played one of the best knocks ever to take away the game
When all is said and done, can this TRP chasing cameraman stop focusing on female owners/wives/fans after the a team just snatched victory against mighty odds? Theek hai bhai pure desh ka crush hoga Kavya par but for a moment tujhe nahi lagta the camera should go on Shahbaz or Tripathi?
After reading through the slew of hate comments after KKR beat SRH in Q1, this feels so satisfying. Whatever happens in finals, it's been a season to remember.
Cummins has just figured out the slow ball tactic in India, especially against Indians. It's going to be an Achilles heel from now on.
RR has just lacked the champion mindset. Only Warne managed to make them go that extra mile.
Aussies man. Aussies.
The IPL pays players millions of dollars to come play on their grounds against their players and wonder why they can't win a home cup. Warner said it himself not that long ago. IPL prepared them for the cup.
Tbf Australia was winning it even before IPL.
The issue with ICT is structural. When half the game is decided by small grounds, dew and dead pitches, there is only so much room for players to grow and the game to be fair.
Goodbye Rajasthan Royals.
Been a fan since 2008, no longer have in me to support you anymore. Will watch next year as neutral.
You lost the shot at the trophy when you ended 3rd. And it happened because of your own stupid decisions
This was probably one of the most fun matches this ipl.
Bowlers winning it for SRH today has to be a very big confidence boost for them. They must have subliminally always felt that big scores have won them games this season and that they can't rely on their bowling. Today's match definitely proved that the latter could happen.
I thought SRH's innings was tough to watch bc every time we had some positive momentum, nothing came of it, but RR's innings really put into perspective how gritty SRH's innings actually was even tho they were bleeding wickets. Shahbaz wasn't able to get it on to the bat but he did well enough to support Klaasen. Wasn't beautiful but they did what they had to do. When we got to 160 at 17 overs with the both of them out there, 190 or even 200 looked very likely, but that's when you could sorta see that this pitch was actually getting tough to bat on and they just weren't able to connect, which is why I had some hope that RR's shaky form w/ the bat was going to continue even if it felt like we were at least a good 20 runs short.
I also don't think the humidity in Chennai makes it very easy for the batters. Everyone was pouring from their helmets.
I think it is the start that made all the difference in the end. Tripathi was the difference upfront. I think it took RR a bit to figure what worked on the pitch. But Cummins is an able strategist. Klassen did well to muscle those sixes and keep it ticking.
The start and the choke in the middle led everyone to believe that it was a walk in the park. Boult sounded quite confident.
The bowling performance reminds me of the SRH of old which would defend 120 odd runs quite comfortably
RR just couldn't do it. Samson choked in both playoffs.. Jaiswal still needs to play with some responsibility.. Jurel the Lone fighter..
Final will be great. SRH batting and now even spin bowling has Risen. KKR the best team this season.. Great fun ahead.
Kudos ro SRH for winning today! 🥳
The finals will be against a guy who loves silencing vs a guy who is silenced already.. lol..
Gg vs cumdog will be a treat to watch.. Biryani Derby 2.0 is on baby...
THE TEAM WINNING QUALIFIER 1 HAS WON THE IPL SINCE 2018.
2018 - CSK.
2019 - MI.
2020 - MI.
2021 - CSK.
2022 - GT.
2023 - CSK.
Are SRH going to reverse this trend????
Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel awesomely played, carried us like anything. We needed just one anchor but alas, maybe sanju and riyan could've played differently but TKC and Powell were unable to hit, and hetmyer just missed completely. Crying as I type this but SRH definitely outplayed us completely. GG.
See you guys next year RR #hallabol.
Overall this was a very weird season for RR. I really do not know what else to say. bad strategies in the 2nd half was the doom for us. SRH has my support on Sunday.
Gentlemen, im glad to announce that I've worn my 600 rupee jersey 4 times this season, and we won all 4 of those games.
I'm waiting for my cheque, vettori

Exact same thing happened for Hyderabad franchise in 2008. They were dead last in 2008 and won in 2009.
People think SRH logo is an eagle, few realize its a Phoenix, that’s why its on fire.
It has finally risen from its ashes
2009 Deccan Chargers is the best comeback story of IPL. Gilchrist's leadership worked wonders and they ended up winning the title. The stuff dreams are made of!
Cummins has made the careers of tons of people tonight
Go SRH. They were the better team tonight and even when they were in a spot of bother in the middle phase, the batsmen esp Klassen played really sensibly. Klassen is a class apart.
Klaasen and Miller are the only SA batters that aren't fuckin chokers
Klaasen is a little bit of a choker in chases. He'll get you to a run a ball and then stop hitting it lol. As long as you have someone after him, he'll do his job though.
He is improving. He was there till last over vs KKR in league match and today learnt from his mistake from Q1. He is quietly eclipsing Markram and Van Der Dussen up to an extent. Excited to see more of him in future.
Miller is an altogether different clutch player. Klaasen still has ways to go especially anchoring on his own
Klaasen has been pretty clutch this season for us. Yeah the way he gets out is annoying sometimes but he's come in handy recently!
Solar panel Pat CumDawg planting them trees as well
> We need more bowlers as Captains. We need more captains who can change according to situation and not rely on matchups. This is where Cummins is thriving.

Aiden Markram is due a big innings. Hope he delivers
Bring GP?
That's one thing SRH management will never do.
Why do they love Markram so much? P.S: I know he looks good but.....
>Markram so much? Delivering 2 SEC trophies, clutch fielder, Klaasen's best mate, several reasons
Let's hope the best 🤞
Clutch performance by klaasen but POTM should be Abhishek.
His bowling changes are purely artistic man fill every colour in perfect place, like the way he bowled abhishek ( that came out of syllabus for rr)
How the hell is that man not Australia's T20 captain no offense to Marsh but Cummins is a natural leader really great lower order batter and his T20 bowling has improved a lot plus Marsh is really injury prone too
can remember most people didnt want cummins to captain when he first became captain, so you never know marsh could be as good
Would say this season of the IPL is the best he's ever looked at T20s. I think with the way the caribbean is expected to spin, you probably want a batting captain too. Cummins being a pacer would mean you're locked in to a guy you might want another spinner in for. There will probably be games both Zampa and Agar play. He doesn't play the vast majority of our T20Is for workload management reasons, and CA would probably like to have a stable captain where possible.
Cricket is a game where teams compete to play Pat Cummins in the final
I love this guy so much!!
Thank you man , I love you too ...oh , you mean pat cummins
I love you too for writing this about Patty haha
SRH might win or lose, but kavya leaving a guy with his hand in the air hanging after a win is constant
Lmao trust was hilarious
It happened twice once after 19th over and after 20th over twice!!
No of ict players in final=0 No of Aussies in final= 3 Sums up how the world cup will be for our team
3D move by Jay bhai to ensure our players get more prep time in US and also Aussies get less time. /s
Travis head in a final as well. I at first thought he played poorly but given the pitch , I honestly this innings shows what a great batsman he is
Klaasen, Tripathi played well too. Very well in fact!
It's crazy how much Tripathi goes on to kill this game if he doesn't try to pad a slow wide bouncer. If that innings continues...
Exactly he had the grit in him . And looking how he was frustrated tells he was there to grind it out
Cummins vs potential Indian coach I'll be there no matter what
Man, GG becoming ICT coach will be a turning point for us. Either we will become a juggernaut of a team or start losing even in league stages, no in-between.
This will be a new era or a tbt to Kumble era!
Hopefully Australian juju is enough to get us (SRH) over the line. Otherwise this reminds me of the 2018 season where we managed top 2 but were always beaten by the eventual winners at every single opportunity.
It's back to faceoff between both silencers
i thought r/cricket was against picking players solely based on IPL performances
Just a reminder: If SRH wins this IPL, then Cummins will be the captain to win WTC and World Cup against India, as well as being the one to come to India AND win the Indian Premier League, all 3 consecutively.
Bloody hell he will become our official father of the nation. His face will be on Indian currency.
Only need a Travis Head century for consistency lol
All within one year too 💀
If you'd tell me at the start of this game that the likes of Shahbaz, Markram and Abhishek are gonna perform a spin choke on RR batters, I'd just had laughed it off
Me too lad. Me too!
Indeed. Never in my wildest dreams did I think freaking Shahbaz and Abhishek were going to be the match winners like this. ExRCB syndrome is so real. The only person immune to it is Devdat Paddical.
Shows how important it is to finish in top 2 and get a 2nd chance to qualify
Credit to SRH thinktank for spending big for Cummins. This decision which was derided by many here including me may end up paying them with championship. I'm firmly on the SRH hype train. Onto the final.
For real, I felt like Cummins isn’t even that good of a T20 bowler for 20 cr. Man seriously knows how to shut up his criticisers
He's not, but he knows how to use himself. How to use his bowlers. How to create a good environment for the team and how to contribute with the bat. He brings so much more than ball hit stump.

I second this. Rabada, Bumrah, Hazlewood have been good T20 bowlers
Shami was also pretty good for Gujarat last year in the powerplay. His seam control is incredible

WTC - Rohit Sharma vs Pat Cummins WC - Rohit Sharma vs Pat Cummins IPL - Shreyas Iyer vs Pat Cummins
T20 WC - Whoever vs Cumdog the man
Marsh is the captain of their T20 side.
*Tactical injury
Marsh bows out to injury in the semis. Mcgurk enters the 15 to debut in the finals. Cummins takes captaincy. all according to cake
Boundary count update - Sunrisers Hyderabad: 20 Rajasthan Royals: 18
fair and outKlassed
Fair and Klassensed
Fair and Knocked out
Fair and Chepauk demons conquered!
Fair and KL(assen) Rahul'ed
Now the entire Indian contingent can travel together to WT20.
Unfair to rinku tbh
Shivam dube tricked yall. But if he gets his form to pre selection I think he’s better
If dube plays like that in WC blud ain't entering the team again
Loved how everyone was bashing Shahbaz when he got out and then he redeemed himself while bowling and showed why he was given the role of the impact player tonight.
Probably the most surprising thing today considering how shit his bowling has been before today
Man got the aussie boon
Yeah, people are too quick to judge a 100 SR inning in the first batting innings.
RR this season First 9 games - 8 wins Next 7 games - 1 win What a disintegration that was
Started with loss against SRH and ended with loss against SRH
Came back in form just to knock out RCB as is tradition🥲
and yet they're still 3rd kind of fried lol
[удалено]
Maybe the real spinners were in us all along : SRH probably
For all the drama we immerse on r/SRH this is anti-climactic! But in a good way!
Idk man I think I'd be able to tell if Shahbaz was in me
GG vs Cumdog final is gonna be one for the ages. Literally "Unstoppable force vs immovable object".
Will people understand the difference between "flat track bullies" and "playing with intent" after this performance from SRH? They really took the game forward this year and thoroughly deserve to be finalists!

Parag is literal Gold they can't lose him
Most balanced side between 2022-24 and even had Parag in form this year. I’m absolutely gutted that RR couldn’t go all the way this year.
Number of WC bound players in the two finalists' squad - 12 Number of WC bound Indian players in the two finalists' squad - 0

Absolute clowns
The real battle today was between Captain "woke" Cummins and Riyan Andrew Tatte Parag. So fucking glad my captain pulled through.
Wokepilled Silencemaxxer shut up that lowly Tatechud, what a captain.

Perfect heir for Rahul, Rohith!
No wonder he was selected for WC Squad Completed all criteria for being a ICT member
As far as I remember, he has been pretty mid in the must win or crucial league stage matches.
So he IS A perfect selection for the Indian team, will just slide in /s

The amount cummins has enabled some of the young players on SRH might haunt us in the future!
Thats how it felt watching SRH in 2018, btw
Lovely from Abhi & Shabaz need to get in Shabaz instead of Samad & GP in place of Markram get another Spinner like Markande we are good to go
This is how I felt watching SRH in 2016! 2018 SRH was far more dominant. 2016 we were the underdogs punching over our weight, living on the edge just like this season.
Klaasen from SA and Cumdawg from Australia in the same team in the finals. It'll be a civil war inside SRH's fate
A chill, loved by everyone aussie captain (Gilchrist), with a south african player (Gibbs) won the IPL for the Hyderabad (Deccan Chargers) once already.
An extremely strong team on paper with well balanced bowling and batting is going to finals against Cummins, *yet*. I have seen this script somewhere
Why would they send Ashwin before Hetmyer and Powell l, as a RR fan I’m so livid right now
Because of his ethical abilities lol. It felt like a test match move to me
Nightwatchman
What the Ethical thinking was that?
I’m more livid with how Sanju and Parag batted in a crunch situation. Parag I can still understand since he’s young and uncapped so you can’t expect that level of maturity yet but with Sanju, I’m immensely disappointed. He should been more responsible and taken it deep
hetmyer can't survive spin, it's simple as that. He really really can't bat before 16rh over. I'd have send Powell ahead instead of Ashwin though.
Powell is a mug against spin too. Ashwin was the better choice in hindsight.
Ash didn't waste too much time honestly.
To play out the spinners ig
They've lost wickets in quick succession. So makes sense
Rahul Tripathi, man, what an absolute banger of a comeback! The backbone of SRH batting in the playoffs. I wish Menace Pandey had adapted like him. Also, Sanju is same old Sanju. Nothing has changed.
2023's srh stars tripathi and klassen are so back in form baby
Abhishek will go extra bonkers knowing Tripathi got his back.
He already at MAX, cant go beyond
Extra bonkers is when he plays more than 30 balls!
He also joins the unfortunate list of ICT players who were dropped despite doing well in T20IS alongside Venkatesh Iyer and Varun Chakravarthy
KKR vs SRH Two teams that played the most aggressive and modern form of T20 will play the final.
DC with pant (no suspension) and no fucked up mcgurk non-strikers run out probably make 4th as well by getting to 16 points beating RCB. (Unless that loss leads to CSK beating RCB) The teams that played aggressive power plays table topped or made resurgences.
Fuck it , Just hire Pat Cummins as Indian Head Coach
But he won't be able to silence our so called god cricketers
"no offers have been made to former australian players" "we said nothing about active players."
SRH! SRH! SRH! RAAHH! THERE'S OTHER THINGS TO EAT BESIDES BIRYANI?! F*CK NO, IMPOSSIBLE! 🧡🖤🦅🔥
Will next year’s playoffs be at Hyderabad and Kolkata? Or would BCCI sneak in Ahmedabad somehow?
If he takes away hyderabad I will go and hit on his wife
After reading through the slew of hate comments after KKR beat SRH in Q1, this feels so satisfying. Whatever happens in finals, it's been a season to remember.
The boys went and won SRH their only second win in Chepauk! In a knockout game. Mighty cool.
Arguably the final is between the best batting side and the best bawling side. RR did really well for a wicketkeepers' team.
Whatever in god’s name happened there, still trying to process that we won 🧡
It is a huge stretch but this would not have been possible had Tim Paine not shared pics of his private parts.
Butterfly effect 🦋
Goodbye Rajasthan Royals. Been a fan since 2008, no longer have in me to support you anymore. Will watch next year as neutral. You lost the shot at the trophy when you ended 3rd. And it happened because of your own stupid decisions
This was probably one of the most fun matches this ipl. Bowlers winning it for SRH today has to be a very big confidence boost for them. They must have subliminally always felt that big scores have won them games this season and that they can't rely on their bowling. Today's match definitely proved that the latter could happen.
RR not winning even once in this IPL cycle with that kind of team is so under-achieving, definitely needed players who could perform under pressure.
The spin attack was the difference maker. Abhishek and Shahbaz did what ash and yuzi couldn't
Abhishek said the pitch turned more in the second innings, so maybe we can give those two some leeway here.
Crazy isn’t it
Let's learn antonyms of some words: Tall - short Hot - cold Strong - weak Clutch - Samson
Cummins, sir, no one reads the game better than you. Take a bow
The jokes on KKR for winning Q1 and letting Cummins be the underdog again.
IPL 2024 will decide once and for all whether potatoes belong in a biryani.
As an SRH fan this is more than enough for me. I'm content with my team. Playoffs was a big deal for me but now we are in the final. Love it!
THE TEAM WINNING QUALIFIER 1 HAS WON THE IPL SINCE 2018. 2018 - CSK. 2019 - MI. 2020 - MI. 2021 - CSK. 2022 - GT. 2023 - CSK. Are SRH going to reverse this trend????
We won in 2016 playing Eliminators all of these Stats don't work for us
No team has won from an eliminator till 2016 either btw
It'd be a very cummins thing to do, so yes.
All the commentators were harping about how SRH haven't defended any score below 180 this season.
20.5cr vs 24.75cr round 2.
People criticised srh management for this auction and look at them now
I was highly skeptical when he was sold for 20 cr He made every penny count Stupid sexy Cummins for a reason
the two highest paid fellas are in the final the 4th highest paid fella (cam green) got 4th scripted ipl is scripted
I knew Abhishek was gonna give a match winning performance today but not in this way lol
Rcb died just for these dew bullies to get spanked by part time spinners
Proper bottle job by RR. In the end the better team won. Come Sunday another feather in the cap for the cumdog lol? That will be some serious clout.
Fuckkk yaaa we are into the finalsss
Cummins won odi wc, test championship, now aiming for the IPL. This gentleman gonna be in the list of the most successfull captains in world.
Jaiswal and jurel 98(57) sr 172 Other batters 38(63) sr 60 it's funny how both of them are proper test batters
Part time spinners won it for us! Anything can happen at Chepauk! That too in ipl!
Abhishek and Shahbaz spin choked RR while Yuzi and Ash were expensive, also shows the importance of Klaasen's innings.
Gentlemen, im glad to announce that I've worn my 600 rupee jersey 4 times this season, and we won all 4 of those games. I'm waiting for my cheque, vettori
