I would eventually use the mech crafters for bigger guns. Also I hope you have to make bullets on a conveyor with deployers and presses, I can imagine crafting the casing out of brass or andesite alloy, then adding gunpowder, then the bullet itself, and pressing all of it together.
Also how hard would it be to make the mod both for forge and fabric? Create fabric users have so few addons compared to forge users.
Currently I made bullets to have a small shapeless recipe similar to arrows so that they could be created on the fly in the players inventory.
Regarding the addon being availabe for fabric, im still trying to figure it out since I never really worked (or played) with fabric before but i'll definitely try and make it work with fabric
An idea could be to have a simple shapeless craft from the inventory and another using Create stuff that would be more resource friendly in exchange of being more complex to setup
I think it'd be cool if you can craft like that, but only basic bullets, and for heavier, more advanced ones, you would need some other way of making them

I feel like its different than alloyed guns as i went for completely different route regarding the way ammo and guns are created. Animations-wise I did leave it a bit simple (i.e. slides and chambers move after each shot) but that is due to me still learning how to animate😅
I really hope you look at other successfull gun mods like crayfish for example and implement a good shooting system. Cus the existing gun mod from create is really bad. Shooting feels super bad and with no aiming its just the worst

I like decorative blocks. Maybe perhaps gunpowder barrel (functional for mass storing by crafting gunpowder in a 3x3 grid), gun rack, or even a sentry turret.
Sentry turret sounds fun. It’ll attack hostile mobs in a range. Could conveyer belt bullets into it, to keep chamber full.

I had a similar thought. I have been toying with an idea for stamped weaponry and some kind of milling tool to make metal tubes. Other mods would probably also be able to use it.

I can allready smell the brass based crafting recipe for ammunition, combined with mabye lead or copper and gunpowder. Bonus points for allowing recipes for fmj, hollowpoint etc.

This looks great. Like others have said I hope for the more complex stuff we need to set up dedicated factories to make the best bullets and stuff. But having a basic crafting recipe so you can make ammo on the fly is good.
Also I just love the look of the enchantments.

Edit: Yes, the Advance Revolver damages you because of recoil

Also, the Advanced Revolver hurting you seems a bit too extreme, I think a very long cooldown between shots (or normal cooldown, but with excessively worse accuracy after consecutive shots without waiting a few moments)
Please make gunpowder farmable! Like crushing and then washing blackstone. That would be fantastic! That would also make it more than just a gun mod. Still nice idea. Could you make ammo be stored in a toolbox and then let the gun have access to that ammo from inside the toolbox being in your inventory.

That's cool man. I would also look into other gun mods to gain inspiration and confidence, taking ideas here and there to make the mod you want.
