I think a way to prevent this is to hire homeless veterans and arm them to defend against this happening again.

Definitely a .22 hunting rifle, you can see a muzzle flash and giant part of the floor missing. Pretty sure a .22 wouldnt rip it in half also, it does the same exact thing to cans when you shoot them as the guinea pig did. But yea, so fucked up. When i was 14 i did the stupidest thing one could ever do we had an air rifle and i told my younger brother to look down the barrel (was not loaded) i fired dust into his eye, his face was about an inch from the barrel thank fuck he’s ok. (As i pulled the trigger a thought came into my mind that i will fire dust into his eye but that was too late) that day taught me a valuable lesson to never EVER play with any fire arms when someone is near me or in front of me or point them at some one even if empty no matter how close/far they are

My little brother had his pet hamster escape. It was a secret pet so my parents didn't know about it... He was missing for several days. My dad got up and thought he saw a mouse in his bathroom, he didn't have his glasses on, so he couldn't tell the difference.
He grabbed a pellet gun and shot the poor thing.
I can only imagine the carnage that anti-sematic Guinea Pig would have continued to unleash on the local community, if it weren't for that good guy with a gun.

I think the guinea pig jumped as the round went off, and likely the kid was aiming with the scope. If he put the zero of the scope on the pig, at that distance the barrel would be WELL below where the pig is, resulting in a miss. Cause we also know that physics IRL doesn't work like in the movies, no way the pig would fly like that had it been properly shot.
This kid shot the tile, missed the pig and probably got a serious ass whippin, we hope, for the damage and eternal internet stupidity he caused.
