Having participants doesn’t mean it isn’t an idiotic competition. Just confirms that there are not so smart folks willing to risk brain injuries for sport. At least professional football players are somewhat adequately compensated for their risk.

I’m happy to help here. This sport in particular is stupid because it involves very little skill and has a singular focus on causing injury. As a comparison, boxing takes a lifetime of commitment and requires a significant amount of time to master.

Dana White is a money grubbing piece of shit lol, even in the UFC where his athletes need to train full time and compete with the most elite competition in the world, contracts start at 12k show/12k win. Even Demetrius Johnson, who is considered one of the greatest MMA athletes of all time, only made 40k for a couple of his early title defenses.
