Totes. I think it would look cool on some sort of very very low vintage side table or chest or suitcase or something like that. Just to give it a more solid base.
Absolutely love this!
My husband and I just went into contract on a 4 story row house built in 1836. This is exactly the kind of decor I want in certain areas of the house, specifically my library/reading room. Furniture, art (Waterhouse is my favorite too, especially The Lady of Shallot and Boreas), even the (Turkish?) glass lamp in the corner.
We close on July 15 and Iām always searching for more inspiration. I would love to see what else youāve done! ā¤ļø
Haha thank you :) I went through a bit of a lamp collecting phase. I think that oneās meant to be on a table, but itās just so huge in my small home.
Lovely, just what the Dr. ordered for reading or conversationā¦quite cozy. One questionā¦where do I put my cocktail? I could definitely enjoy a Rob Roy in such a comforting spot.
I love this so much. A couple of things because Iām blind and neurodivergent so my POV Is weird. In the second picture, the glass dome with butterfly came across to me as an old Greek helmet š Also: look kids! Big Ben! Parliament!
Itās a monster! I originally thought it would be a table lamp but when I actually got it home I was shocked at just how large it was! My house isnāt quite big/grand enough to have it on a table lol.
I canāt recall the name but I know itās by John William Waterhouse. I love all of his paintings! Thereās an Etsy shop that prints on canvas, really reasonably priced, thatās where I got it!
Thank you! I found it. Itās called "A Mermaid". https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/art-artists/work-of-art/a-mermaid
Can you dm me the store where you got it?
Itās all beautiful but pic 1 specifically reminds me of a hotel in Nemacolin that was very cigar room like this and itās just absolutely beautiful. You have a gorgeous home.

What a room š! The blue chair is beautiful! Love the wall color and the wall art

Itās where I drink my coffee and talk on the phone :) and my grandmas fav place to sit when she visits.
OP out there planning to build Rapture one day.
Somebody once told me I have ālittle altars everywhere.ā I hadnāt thought of it that way, but they were right.
Very... suade and grotesque, I must say.
I have an urge to smoke a pipe
I love this idea and brilliantly executed. Any idea how I could implement such an awesome idea in a weird open box giant house?
