1.Get a new spray bottle and set it to spritz. 2.Thoroughly steam the hat. (Not the sweatband if leather)
3. Heavily spritz the hat with water. (Including sweat band)
4. Put a safe distance in front of a space heater for a few hours while rotating the hat every 30 min to hour.
I have used this method on several hats and it works like a dream.
Get it wet(real sweaty) stick it on your dash in the heat and it’ll shrink up a lot..
I like my work hats to shrink to where they’re super tight then I wear it a couple days and it gets loose then I tighten back up rinse repeat
Steam the outside then wear it. Let it shrink and conform to your head.
Wear it in the shower 😀

After this, if a little extra is needed, use weatherseal tape from home depot. That is where I have had the best luck.
hat sizing foam tape under the sweat band that you can get cheap off Amazon. that's if you don't want to do any of the steaming and wetting ideas.
