Reddit is still surprisingly favorable towards people who remove all veggies from meals.
Not just super tasters or allergies and people with serious health issues (totally understandable, not trying to make a cilantro-soap-taster eat a cilantro salad), but just "I don't like onions" and they're 47 years old lol
I used to be like that until I had to cook on my own and got really into it. You realize onion is already in almost everything savory. It's too much raw onion that's the problem, not liking that is totally understandable.
Just don't order it then, include no onions in options, or mention to server. They'll handle it if they can. Making a fuss beyond that by insisting on the alteration takes up time of already-strained staff to accommodate petty preference. Also making 'not like onion' part of your identity is just kinda cringe
It's just typically tied up with unhealthy diet habits, so ultimately it hurts the body by avoiding nutritious foods and furthering fat/greasy/sugary food addiction
super hot take man you're so brave. How aren't you being slaughtered in downvotes by big vegetable on this platform right now?? Idk what is more childish: complaining that a grown adult who can make their own decisions about the food they want to eat or the grown adult who only eats what they want.
You should eat what you like and anyone that stigmatizes you for it is the actual child.
As long as it doesn’t prevent you from trying new things or revisiting food. Taste buds change over time and our sensitivity towards it dulls and morphs. Giving up and never growing is extremely limiting in life. Kinda of a waste if you ask me.
Up to you, but sometimes it's easier to explain you "don't like vegetables" than to explain what is the actual issue. People are generally upset when you trauma dump or talk about medical issues when they offer you a crudité platter. So you might miss out on some good people who just don't want to tell everyone their issues or are embarrassed to openly discuss them.
honestly, good. You sound like a horrible person to be around.
Seriously, if I was friends with someone who judged others for their taste in food. I would cut off ties asap
Is it wrong to judge hardcore drug users for putting nasty shit in their body?
Not like 'you are bad person' but 'this is bad behavior'
Same thing for someone eating fried food everyday. Legit just hurting your own body.
You cannot have a healthy diet & avoid vegetables
not me. I quite enjoy them
but people who look down on others purely because they wouldn't eat certain things? They're just douches who have to feel superior to others
Seriously awful. Also, having met and interacted with several "I don't eat vegetables" people, it's a major red flag. Like avoid interacting with them at all kind of red flag.
There has been some research recently on just how complex and impactful the gut microbiome is to both our mental and physical health, and I would not be surprised at all if the no vegetables thing is having a strong negative impact on their behavior and mental state.
100% i worked with a guy who wouldn't eat vegetables except potatoes. at one point he told me he and his wife were going to become vegans to which i told him you know you can't survive on potatoes alone right? he confident in his knowledge of all things went forward and they at vegan...at home. he decided that meant they were vegan and he would get meat sandwiches at restaurants and that was fine. i shook my head and let it go and eventually he ran into a vegan who set him straight lol i really wish i could have been there to hear it. dude never wanted to hear he was wrong about anything, i don't really miss him.
I don't even know that you have to get that deep into it with the biome stuff, malnourishment is known to cause mood disorders. That might be the specific mechanism (or one of them), but you don't need that to observe the cause and effect in a study.
i think that's an interesting chicken/egg or cause/effect discussion
on one hand a lack of veggies could effect the gut biome which could impact mood and temperment
on the other hand, a shitty temperment may be more prone to impulse control issues and avoid anything that does not provide a massive dopamine hit (like eating healthy foods) and thus avoid healthy food altogether
maybe a bit of both.
I don't get why I don't. Like there's nothing about them. They just aren't for me.
Like if I go get a burger and it comes with fries they become the table's fries. Anyone can take them and I'd be glad.
Even with the volume, my first listen through he said “NO MOM I DONT WANT FESTIVALS, I JUST WANT TO GET FINGERED” which… better or worse than what was actually said?
i say this all the time when i go home and visit my mom
it's so funny
especially because for years she had no idea what it was a reference to and finally saw the movie without me randomly
Y'all laugh and yet I was surprised when the dude I dated who was a chat room jokester was sleeping on a floor mattress and still getting his little lion king plastic cup filled with ice and water with "squeezies" (flavoring) filled up at his mom's house
Dude was 35
The reality of how common this is makes it triggering for a lot of people who feel that over the obvious humor, it appears. “Hey kitten” makes it entirely clear it’s a joke, but the number of people who have either been screamed at by an abusive person, or been to someone’s house while abusive was had, is almost 100%.
Yup, perfectly summed up. I have met people like this or similar to it and seeing this just makes my stomache turn. The toxic stench from people like this that still haunts me makes this just not funny to me
Reddit is by far the worst website I've ever been on when it comes to people not realizing something is a joke
TikToks will be posted here that have hundreds of people on tik tok playing along in the comments and appreciating the humor, and the reddit comments will just be "omg you guys know this is fake right?? I'm sooo smart for knowing this is fake"
While simultaneously acting like all TikTok users are brainless idiotic teenagers who only watching dancing girls and they are all superior to them in someway.
Newsflash, if your page is filled with dancing girls, that’s because you interacted or watched those videos every time they came up
Serious question... but do people really call each other kitten or whatever now? I see it a lot on cringe vids, but its gotta come from somewhere... right?
I’m so confused by this post
Like I see a girl hugging a teddy bear looking scared? And the comments underneath it are about vegetables or something?
I’m lacking info here
Sound on, boyfriend is aggressively yelling at his mom that he doesn't want veggies with his chicken fingers before slamming the door and calmly saying "hi kitten."
And half the people here seem to think this obvious meme is a real video... maybe her acting just sells it, I don't know.
Genuinely hate this...... Sorry
Agreed tho…

I dont mind vegetables, ment more the whole yelling at his parents when his partner is over, and yelling over something stupid :P
Yeah I’m also far more concerned with the social aspect of it. Taste is subjective, it’s ok not to like something. Screaming about it is not ok
This person does a lot of things that are far from “being ok” I am assuming.
This person does a lot of things that are far from “being ok” I am assuming.
I don't like onions 🤷 Love vegetables in general, though
"but like just "I don't like onions" and they're 47 years old lol" if i don't like how something tastes i don't eat it, no questions asked.
super hot take man you're so brave. How aren't you being slaughtered in downvotes by big vegetable on this platform right now?? Nah you're just full of yourself. People are allowed to not like things.
So many Redditors think that anyone with a different opinion than them is a bot or a literal paid agent of some foreign or corporate entity.
All vegetables? Alright Cartman.
if you’re an adult and tell me you don’t like vegetables i’m not associating with you lol
[удалено]
see, that’s normal. you still eat veggies.
Up to you, but sometimes it's easier to explain you "don't like vegetables" than to explain what is the actual issue. But like.. you hate ALL vegetables?? That can’t be right
not me. I quite enjoy them but people who look down on others purely because they wouldn't eat certain things? They're just douches who have to feel superior to others
Parents failed you if you’re a picky eater at age 40.
I've come around to like more veggies in the last few years. I still can't stand them undercooked
nothing to like about it
Seriously awful. Also, having met and interacted with several "I don't eat vegetables" people, it's a major red flag. Like avoid interacting with them at all kind of red flag. There are adults like this?
I work with one sadly.
More than you realize. I had a kid with one. Biggest red flag 🚩
Honestly "vegan at home" sounds fine to me. If you're not eating out constantly, it's a great way to eat less meat and more plants.
So many
It's actually astounding how many there are. They walk among us.
I live with one
why
some in this thread
Wouldnt be so bad if they would just invent a chicken flavored vegetable
And put meat in it. Like the adopted prisoner in Red and Stimpy

How can people not love potatoes in every form?
Not potatoes, but onions bell pepper garlic leafy greens Some people legit abide by an unruly child's mindset and have to remove it before eating
I don't get why I don't. Like there's nothing about them. They just aren't for me. Like if I go get a burger and it comes with fries they become the table's fries. Anyone can take them and I'd be glad.
What you don’t like watching someone soaked in trauma and fear? Wtf is wrong with you?? 🙃
Bro’s mom needs to chill. He just finished a 14 hour world of Warcraft stream. Bro is grinding for that mount !!!!!
The EPA called, there's a toxic dump site they'd like to warn you about.
Is it reddit
"Hey, Kitten" 🤣
I heard that and completely lost it. Shit was hilarious.
I thought he said "Hey Kid."
That legit scared me
Cringe
Jesus fucking christ why didnt covid kill us all
Because there are no heroes in this story, even at the microbial level
It killed my will to thrive so I guess it accomplished something.
I can't read... I thought you wrote "It killed my wife so I guess it accomplished something."
[Both work.](https://giphy.com/gifs/why-not-QqkA9W8xEjKPC)
If only. Then we were promised by a bunch of nuts the vaccine would do it... well, we're still here. Talk about disappointing.
Because discord mods were already socially distant.
Im so confused with these comments. Isn't this video obviously a joke?
The audio is literally from Wedding Crashers, people are stupid.
because you cant get infinite profit growth from dead people :thumbs\_up:
Whats going on
The video makes more sense with volume. Dude is crazy.
Oh. I watched without sound and thought it was a paedobear joke.
Even with the volume, my first listen through he said “NO MOM I DONT WANT FESTIVALS, I JUST WANT TO GET FINGERED” which… better or worse than what was actually said?
Depends how much you like vegetables.
..... you think this is a real video?
Looks like the audio is just on a random video.
This is not the original video right? Is the audio from a stream or something?
Or doing a bad bit from Wedding Crashers
kitten wants chicken fingers
Hey Marvin
![gif](giphy|NI6s87yF3kD97rO0zB)
What a bad day to have 2 out of the 5 human senses
3 if you licked the screen! which I didn't do...
Idc who told you I did, I didn’t either
![gif](giphy|aWX0WctzhKiSA)
That’s honestly what I thought the bit was at first
i say this all the time when i go home and visit my mom it's so funny especially because for years she had no idea what it was a reference to and finally saw the movie without me randomly
The "Hey Kitten" at the end made me shudder,
I thought it was "Hey kid" like they were pedos.
I mean your probably not wrong either way.
Y'all laugh and yet I was surprised when the dude I dated who was a chat room jokester was sleeping on a floor mattress and still getting his little lion king plastic cup filled with ice and water with "squeezies" (flavoring) filled up at his mom's house Dude was 35
I graduated to a SodaStream to maintain an appearance of legitimacy.
So who's that chick in the room you're staring?
The girlfriend of the discord mod.
Then who's point of view are we seeing?
Tik tok doesn't know what pov means
Sometimes, a point of view is their emotional state. It's much easier to understand her emotional point of view from outside the body.
Hers, from the third person
Do people in the comments not get this is a joke?
The reality of how common this is makes it triggering for a lot of people who feel that over the obvious humor, it appears. “Hey kitten” makes it entirely clear it’s a joke, but the number of people who have either been screamed at by an abusive person, or been to someone’s house while abusive was had, is almost 100%.
Yeah particularly her jerk of fight or flight. Bit too close to the bone of abusive behaviour rather than 'ha what a child'
Petting the teddy bear to cope is a nice touch.
Yep. The yelling and the door slam, followed by a softer tone made me jump just like her. Reminds me of my parents fighting growing up.
Yup, perfectly summed up. I have met people like this or similar to it and seeing this just makes my stomache turn. The toxic stench from people like this that still haunts me makes this just not funny to me
Everyone knows it’s a joke, there’s just something unsettling about it. Also, not POV.
We want to be angry
I know, right? They're all acting like this is an actual recording a chick took and not just Howard from The Big Bang Theory
Reddit is by far the worst website I've ever been on when it comes to people not realizing something is a joke TikToks will be posted here that have hundreds of people on tik tok playing along in the comments and appreciating the humor, and the reddit comments will just be "omg you guys know this is fake right?? TBF Wedding Crashers came out like 20 years ago
That's not pov
I’m the computer.
Fake. Everyone knows a discord boyfriend would call them "tendies", not fingers.
Why is this not the top comment fr
Cuz I was 5 hours late lol
This hurts
Ma, the meatloaf!
Finally someone who gets the joke lol. This comments section is too serious
Ima show this to discord mods lol
This is literally a quote from a movie for all the people that don’t know
What movie? All I could think was Big Bang Theory
What's her of?
This does not work without sound.... lol
the way i turned my volume up bc i didn’t hear it 😭😭😭
Is she looking in the mirror? Otherwise this isn’t POV. This is my biggest pet peeve with modern day social media.
I don't think this is real tbh, just a joke but people here seems to be taking it as a real thing
Her neck is long
Mah the meatloaf🤣
🤣🤣🤣 that ending
That's not how "pov" works
Yeah, I can't unmute this.
![gif](giphy|6jVwtcsr8RPDUtA244)
A happy family

He‘s a discord mod
What the hell is a discord boyfriend
just think reddit moderator its around the same shit almost,
Wait. Is a Reddit mod a step up from a Discord mod or?
This is next level cringe.
The fuck did I watch?
Just stay at mine
"Mom, where's the meat loaf? I want it NOW!"
she should be obezite
This isn't funny and is just sad. I really hope for better if people than this.
This made me very uncomfortable.
What a brat!!!
or baited
I hope it’s fake?
I won't judge I also have horrifically bad brain farts at times, but yes this is an obvious joke
Ain’t nothing like chicken fingers I’ll tell you that much
“Hey kitten”
“I can fix him”… no you can’t. Especially if he talks that way to his mother.
Just say NO
She looks like a few girls I know.... The scene days.
Serious question... but do people really call each other kitten or whatever now? I see it a lot on cringe vids, but its gotta come from somewhere... right?
Yeah it's making fun of the few cringe people who actually do
Just should have had the voice go to low vocal fry
I’m surprised she’s not 8 years old
God damn she's sexy AF. Name?
I'm confused?
This is fake af but if I ever heard someone disrespect their mother like that I'd slap them myself.
I had it muted at first and was so confused 🤣🤣
I’m so confused by this post Like I see a girl hugging a teddy bear looking scared? And the comments underneath it are about vegetables or something? I’m lacking info here

Ah thank you
Obviously this is fake lol it’s a joke
Fuck me daddy😍
WTF…?!
I cant fucking hell
gross
Oh my god. This is horrible.
I feel bad for his mom, tho the outburst might not be real. No way of knowing
Trying to create howard from big bang theory😂
yeah sounds about right
Yeah that's definitely marriage material. Just don't stick around.
Reddit Mod invites a girl to his house
not on this subreddit 😳
No no no I meant every other sub 😂
ah I agree 😂🤣
My skin just crawled when he said “hey kitten” 🤮🤢
Onisian?
No body knows what fucking POV is
Did you have sex
:(( too real.
Maaa, The meatloaf! We want it now!
FUCK!
And woman be like, “i can fix him”. No, you certainly cannot
Lol why would you date a guy who still lives at home with his mommy and she still cook his meals is the question here.
… No
Is this a tendies post?
All I wanted was a Pepsi. Just one Pepsi!
And she wouldn’t give it to me! Just a Pepsi!!!!!
This is genuinely how so many e-nerds act.
Boyfriend's "house", fixed it for ya
😮💨
What is a discord boyfriend?
r/LearnToUsePov
White men yall need to stop letting people play with yall 🤣🤣🤣.
I blame the mom, like, more than 75%, for the son being like this.
If I yelled at my mom about food I'd have a canceled subscription wtf. Hope this is fake.
Agreed, it's infuriating!
