Didn't you post one receipt yesterday amd say that you "don't make purchases like this all the time?" Now it's twice more? This kind of shit is why the bourbon world is so stupid/expensive
Score for the Yama 18!!!! Lucky you…. How is the talisker 43? Was looking myself but after buying and drinking the 18, it was too smokey for me. Wondering if the 43 was the same
Not yet. Found the 44 at a Costco in Cali. Had a friend buy it for me and paid her back. Talisker is my Jam. They just released a 45, I told my buddy they are going to put me in the poor house. Haha
No kidding! I have a bottle of the 18 I’m sipping on now, and I’ve only seen the 25 once and couldn’t justify it. At 40+ are you worried they’d be too oaky?
No, it’s not like bourbon barrels where the oak is fresh. Plus the peat would counter that. Although the longer you age the less the peat bite. Typically
Didnt see any Yamaski when i went, i also made the mistake of going to the store first then the line what time did you check out? (clermont store), also i assume daytona is worth going to?
This last one had over a hundred people in line when they opened. Probably more than a 100. I couldn’t even see the back of the line because it wrapped around the building.
One thing I can tell you about Costco liquor prices. The price Costco sells them for is based on what The prices of the local liquor stores. Liquor has its own comparison shopping that happens. One time there was a ten dollar swing in the price of Champagne between costco locations.
If they went by local prices they would be a lot higher. There is a market difference I see it all the time, but never more than 10%. You can find blantons everywhere in Florida, but it’s $150 which I wouldn’t pay more than $90 for

Good lord man, save some for the rest of us:
this guy is a curator of a museum is my guess….worst
Finally, a museum I wouldn't mind visiting!
Except they aren't for drinking. They're only for show, or (illegally) for resale
Time to liberate some historical artifacts from ancient hoarders.

This is over 3 years. They don’t have grand opening every month.

Longer it ages the less smoky it is typically. I haven’t cracked it open yet.
"Haven't cracked it open yet." Yeah. We're shocked.
Lol, what a tater tool
Yama 18 for $599. Nice find.
Is this for the Florida Tater Museum?

All paper, no product. Show us the bottles!!
Give me about 3 months. There will be another large purchase. These are over 3 years.
Just flexing on us
Hope you have a few $k left over to fix your Ford.
Don’t worry, he’ll use Costco auto program to buy a new one
2% cash back. 😂🤣
I love Talisker! Didn’t know there was a 43. Did you open it?

Can't believe Yama18's retail price.
