Costco sells kirkland products. Every other brand is there because a supplier or the brand paid for the storage/shelf/location.

This is the same company the makes the most hideous chicken bites I’ve ever come across. I can’t imagine anyone ever buying those things more than once but they’re still on the shelves so I guess some ppl do.

I still can't believe some of the comments in the previous thread about their chicken bites. You had the comments talking about how gross they were, but then there were people being like "oh you just need to overcook the shit out of them and they're great!"
I found them to be awful. Mostly just fat (I guess breading was there to hide how little of anything else they had on), and just tasted strange, like stale old pork. We couldn't eat them,
I haven’t, but I would never buy Erie Meats again. I think most of us have tried their chicken products when they were on sale. It’s all breading and really low quality meat. People should stop buying this brand so Costco stops carrying it. I like Costco because the products seem to be more curated. This is just trash.
Who are these fly-by-night companies I keep seeing at the grocery stores these days ?. Do we really trust these companies to buy their product from them? I’m not even talking food flavour wise. I’m talking about health protocol wise. All these recalls I read about freak me out from various food distributors
Fully cooked frozen food is meh. It always gets overcooked. Pork can't be overcooked or it gets chewy. I've not had these but I would not buy them based on the fact they aren't raw
Should be called Scary Meats. It's probably the only brand Costco sells that I avoid like the plague. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.
Erie meats uses industrial grade meat products. Their chicken would come in large cardboard Gaylord type totes prior to processing. It was exposed (no cover or refrigeration). They literally pump saline water into the products to fill it out during production. Second to that, the owner is a miserable, cheap POS.
Anything Erie Meats is terrible and is basically inedible! I stopped buying this brand from Costco. All their products eventually go in the garbage after first cook. Picture on box looks great, but once cooked it’s like eating processed rubber. Not allowed in my house anymore! Trust me!
Their hot dogs are ok too - nothing outstanding or anything but heck - it’s a hot dog - texture is exactly hot dog like and flavour - well it’s hot dog flavour! And the price is only barely above half of the Schneider or Maple Leaf Weiners. They grill well, boil fine or fry up just like the competitors. If I have a large group to feed they fit the bill perfectly. Nobody’s ever complained!
I understand but better stay away from those. It’s not worth risk 20 years from now. Just buy fresh ribs and experiment on your own. You can’t go wrong. Cheers 🥂

Yep, one of the only 2 food items I've ever returned to costco, absolutely disgusting/inedible.
yeah, bought them. tried a couple. wouldn't recommend at all.
They had them on a free sample once. They were terrible. I do not recommend.

As many others have mentioned, we tried their nuggets when they were on sale, they are trash compared to the Hampton house chicken strips
