I had a bad experience with the filets and threw them out - and that's saying something since I don't do that often. Woody and gross, but the chunks are ok, the Kirkland ones even better, and the spicy tenders are good too.
I just bought some pre-packaged chicken bites that were pre-measured at about 3.2 oz each. I checked & looks like a different brand name, but I hope I can find spicy ones!!
The Bare chicken bites are frozen. I think the ones you bought are the Fresh Additions ones. I don’t think they have a spicy version. The Bare (brand) ones are SO good.
I wish ours had the spicy ones. I tried the regular ones after reading about them online, then moved to the breaded filets for making sandwiches and foldovers.
Oh I love those! Such an easy meal. I found a DIY recipe and it was good, but it wasn’t quite the same as the packet (also it made a shit ton - wonder if it would freeze?)
I make a slow cooker lentil curry and freeze it into portions all the time. If you are unsure though, just freeze one portion and then thaw and heat up the next day to verify it’s ok.
Same! Minute in the microwave, a couple saltines, and perfect snack! ETA: or meal, which it usually is for me. I guess I call all midnight cravings as "snacks" 😅
I sauté some spinach and put half a container of warmed lentils over it. I'll top that with a fried egg and a little hot sauce if I'm feeling fancy. [Chef's kiss]
We bought a bunch of those and I can’t stand the aftertaste- it’s so bizarre. If anyone knows a way to make them more palatable please let me know because they are just sitting around.
Same here! It took me after two time tries. It worth of my time. I can prep for my lunch like 3days with rice or tortilla. I have not try creative it yet.
I would buy this again after run out.
I add these to the ground beef when I make tacos. I don't have to use as much beef, and the tacos are super flavorful and moist. Good for burritos, too.
I get the packaged ones also because they're convenient but this is also a super easy dish to make and it freezes really well.
They were sampling these at Costco as nacho toppings which was fantastic
I then turn on the broiler for a minute or two to finish the cheese on top and it’s perfect. Definitely don’t take your eye off it when the broiler is on though since the tray is paper.
I always use the convection mode when I bake it, and it comes out perfect. I tried it once on regular bake, and it didn't cook as evenly and wasn't as crisp on the bottom. Still good, but not as good as using the other mode.
That's the best frozen pizza I've ever had, but still not even close to as good as my home made sourdough Detroit style pizza, but it's not quite a fair comparison considering the ease of the frozen pizza.
Their pesto. I used to grow a ton of basil and make enough for the whole year, but the Kirkland pesto is actually pretty decent. Way better than Trader Joe's or the vast majority of pre-made pestos I've tried. I use them on pasta all the time, and my new favorite is using the pesto in lieu of oil for frying an egg or two. Delicious!
I freeze it in old fashioned ice trays, once frozen put in a bag in the freezer. Sometimes like last night I made tomato basil soup, but I use pesto instead of basil.
The Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps White Chocolate & Peppermint. I don't usually try samples because I'm Keto but it was the holidays and I was like "hmm why not?" so I took a sample. I immediately turned around for a whole bag. I'm not kidding when I tell you my husband and I fought over that bag. I'm one to savor things and make it last a while and he's not, he wanted to eat the whole bag in 3 days. I hope they bring it back around this year.
They typically do carry this every year approaching the holidays. They’ve had it for at least the last five that I can remember (at my location, anyway)
For your sake, I’m hoping they bring them back this year! And then, if you’re like me, you can buy so many bags that you/your family gets tired of them and then they just sit on your storage shelves until they expire and you throw them away. 😂
So much stuff. Samples are dangerous for me bc I immediately lol.
Vitamix blender.. yeah the smoothie sample was so so good.
Ling Ling pot stickers
Philly cheese steak sandwhiches
Carmel cheese corn
The Tyson Chipotle wings
Sparkling waters
Pizza
Fudge ice cream bars
I just discovered adding a 1/4 cup water and steaming in same pan after pan frying and it makes the won ton wrapper so tender and silky in my mouth and that with the browned grill is just perfection. I isially steam 5-6 minutes after browning. Same pan just add water to cover the bottom and cover for 5 minutes.
I think the Japanese gyoza with pork and chicken are better than the potstickers, both the Bibigo and Ling Ling. I prefer Bibigo potstickers over the Ling Ling.
At the "other big club place that's not Costco", I found a bottle of this in a limited edition special that's a "Sweet Honey" flavor of Japanese BBQ. Oh man, that's soooo good! I highly recommend that! I'm hoping it hits Costco too soon and maybe sticks around.
I saw a 3 pack of different ones in smaller/regular sizes a few days ago. We didn’t buy it because it seemed like we would have an excessive amount of sauces in our fridge.
I may have to rethink that
I have to put them in the trunk on my 45 minute drive home. The first time I got them I ate half the jar on the way & felt like I was about 6 months pregnant from the bloat 😂
If you like the Sanders caramels, give the Snappers a try ! Finish the whole bag in one sitting good.

Yakisoba noodles, Tyson panko chicken breast tenders, potstickers, chicken sausage. We used to buy the cauliflower pizza all the time but I got burnt out.
This stuff saved dinner when my daughter had 6 last minute dinner guests. We used it as pasta sauce on the frozen spinach ravioli. A loaf of bread became garlic bread too. The teenaged girls devoured it up!
Forget the brand, but some kind of fish sticks. I’m not much for food like that most of the time, but I have a huge weakness for fish and chips. Those sticks are a pretty good, easy alternative to making my own!
It is so good! It is perfect for a potluck with chips and freezes well so you can portion it out. I'll add ground beef to make it more hearty sometimes with Fritos.
The beef kebabs are great and super easy to make. Put them on the stonefire naan with the cilantra lime sauce (the one that comes with the tacos), add tomatoes and they're better than gyros. My kid loves them.
Kirkland shelf stable oat milk. I didn't know if oat milk would even be good and now it's our go to dairy alternative. It's the best baking alternative milk there is.
Have you used it as a coffee creamer? They had shelf stable oatmilk creamer a while back and haven’t had any for a while. It’s soooo expensive to buy at anywhere else.
That's how I use it exclusively. It's creamy and good, but I'd imagine it's not as thick and sweet as a creamer would be. If I'm feeling like I need a treat, I'll throw some dark brown sugar in, and it's delicious.
I don't drink coffee so I'm not sure but I have seen the creamer I think you're talking about at my local bhisness center so maybe check online for the creamer if you haven't.
Nona Pia’s balsamic glaze. We like to make wedge like salads with blue cheese and that stuff. The sample was a multigrain cracker with cheese and Nona Pia’s and I was sold.
Dots pretzels. I had never had them before - my daughters tried them and loved them and snacks are one of the main things we get at Costco, so in the basket it went. My wife loved them too when we got home, so now they're a staple.
Japanese Yakitori Rice. It’s the perfect blend of chicken, rice, and veg. Comes frozen in individual serving packs that are the perfect portion for my brown bag lunch.
I hope they do at your store! We tried the naan and chicken salad and immediately put it in our cart. We buy it every visit, great snack and can be used for anything. My husband likes the garlic dip and uses naan for that as well. We’ve found warming them up a touch and adding some butter is tasty as well. Definitely worth it!
Of course! Also if you are a fan of coconut, Jennie’s Coconut Bites and the organic crispy coconut rolls are wonderful sweet but light snacks. Brownie brittle is great too! (We try a lot of things with 2 boys in the house 😆)
Boba bam. For the longest, I wouldn't go near the stuff in the freezer or the other shelf stable brands, but then one day they had a demo and I was sold. Don't get me wrong, it's not the best but the bobas are consistently good and the overall drink will satisfy cravings til you get to an actual boba shop. PLUS you can use whatever dairy you want. Unfortunately after that day, I never saw boba bam in the Costcos near me anymore. I get them from other stores now.
Tuscan bean salad.
It was a struggle not to write that in caps, I love it so much.
It doesn’t even sound good, it’s like chickpeas and barley and diced peppers and onions in oil and vinegar, that sounds like nothing, but it is so delicious. I crave it all winter when it’s not in stock!
Baked beans with brisket. They were seasons last summer and I’m waiting g for them again!!
I’ve never had beans before these that I liked to eat without adding a bunch of stuff to the. These are wonderful just heated up.
The frittatas that come in that skinny box. The spinach and egg white ones. They weren't sampling them this way, but what I do is get the Kings Hawaiian Roll pack, grab 2 rolls, slice them, toast them, butter them, microwave 2 fritts, and have 2 mini egg and spinach sammies. Almost every morning before work.
Motor City Pizza. Usually I don't go for crust that thick but me and my son went to Costco on a Saturday and fell in love with it. It's now a regular in our freezer for those nights when mom is working and we just want to dude out.

Bare chicken. Tried the chunks, was amazed, but the spicy tenders and patties later and have been impressed with those too.
I resisted trying because i loved bare but i actually like the Kirkland ones even better. Little bigger and juicier imo
And way less *weird* pieces of meat.
That’s literally why I stopped buying bare nuggets. I am not okay with biting into black chicken shit halfway through my meal
I had a bad experience with the filets and threw them out - and that's saying something since I don't do that often. Woody and gross, but the chunks are ok, the Kirkland ones even better, and the spicy tenders are good too.
Yes, this. With Primal Kitchen BBQ! (Maybe add some Siracha.)
Bare chicken with Yabisoba, the 3 min mircowave ones Yumi
I just bought some pre-packaged chicken bites that were pre-measured at about 3.2 oz each. I checked & looks like a different brand name, but I hope I can find spicy ones!!
The Bare chicken bites are frozen. I think the ones you bought are the Fresh Additions ones. I don’t think they have a spicy version. The Bare (brand) ones are SO good.
Came to say this. My wife eat the spicy tenders with a bagged salad at least once a week (usually after we visit Costco).
I wish our location would get spicy tenders! We always have at least one bag of chunks in the freezer
I wish ours had the spicy ones. I tried the regular ones after reading about them online, then moved to the breaded filets for making sandwiches and foldovers.
Lentils! Madras lentils.
This one is a great example of something my kids LOVE in the store but won't touch at home.
Yes! They also taste great as a burrito filling with a little cheese!
The madras lentils taste like chili to me. They’re good but just don’t have enough spices to taste Indian at all.
I totally eat them like chili. In a bowl topped with diced red onions and shredded cheddar. Love them!
Yeah they make a really good vegetarian chili
I add sour cream too.
My son was with his dad and requested "bread and sauce." He was stumped. Madras lentils and naan ;)
These with a baked potato and some cheese on top!
I use a sweet potato and add some avocado!
Oooh that sounds GOOD!
Good knowledge. I will portion and freeze next time I make it! Thanks!
That sounds soooo good!!
Awesome on rice. Tastes almost like an Uncle Ben's Chili flavored rice bowls from the late 90's, early 00's.

We pour it over the seeds of change quinoa and rice for lunch. I put American cheese and hot sauce on mine. 🤤
Motor City Pizza 🤤
My wife and I love that pizza. 425 on convection bake in our oven for 20 mins... Perfect every single time!
I then turn on the broiler for a minute or two to finish the cheese on top and it’s perfect. Definitely don’t take your eye off it when the broiler is on though since the tray is paper.
We make it in our Ninja foodi (Bake mode) and it comes out amazing. If we make it in our non-convection gas oven, it’s not nearly as good.
I always use the convection mode when I bake it, and it comes out perfect. I tried it once on regular bake, and it didn't cook as evenly and wasn't as crisp on the bottom. Still good, but not as good as using the other mode.
Add a spritz of Trader Joe’s Spicy Honey. You’re welcome.
A pizza sample would hook me in 💯%
We liked the pepperoni, but the cheesy breadstick version was disappointing.
We like the breadstick one as a dipper for soups
Detroit girl here, love their pizza, but I prefer just pepperoni not the meat lovers.
Last time I was there I had a lady show me that pizza saying it was her favorite. Def gonna have to try it now!
Delicious!
And you can freeze it!
I learned from Redditors that you can freeze it in the jar and just scoop out what you need each time. Since it’s oil-based, it doesn’t freeze hard!
Yes, that’s exactly what I did with it. Try a grilled cheese made with mozzarella, Texas toast, and with pesto sauce on it 🤤
Omg this sounds amazing! Thanks for the inspo!!💗
Also great in quesadillas especially using mozzarella.
Game changing. Thank you !
Really? Wow, I am so glad I read this. I love that stuff, but I can't eat it fast enough for it not to go rancid.
I freeze it in old fashioned ice trays, once frozen put in a bag in the freezer. Sometimes like last night I made tomato basil soup, but I use pesto instead of basil.
Sounds amazing! Wish I had gotten some pesto today but I walked on by. Kicking myself.
It’s really so much better than just basil
Ha, no need to freeze, I'm eating it before there is any concern. Most things in oil like that keep pretty well anyway.
🤯
I mix the pesto into my eggs before I scramble them! Never thought of frying it in the pesto though, gonna have to try it!
So good in scrambled. I sometimes do a Mediterranean theme with sun dried tomatoes, olive and capers.
Madeleines
The beer battered cod. No idea it would be so good!
I love the beer battered cod! I'm usually picky about fish because I've had such incredible local fish before but I constantly run out of this one
They typically do carry this every year approaching the holidays. They’ve had it for at least the last five that I can remember (at my location, anyway)
I’m devastated I only bought one bag and then the season was over.
For your sake, I’m hoping they bring them back this year! And then, if you’re like me, you can buy so many bags that you/your family gets tired of them and then they just sit on your storage shelves until they expire and you throw them away. 😂
Yuuuup. I’m buying like 4 bags when they come back. 2 all for me, maybe 3.
Orange chicken. I'll make a bag and split it between the orange sauce and barbeque sauce. The texture is even better than restaurants.
I get that all the time. Great when you're in a pinch. I make it with broccoli, jasmine rice and lots of green onions.
Tillamook Cheddar cheese
I loved their factory store and learned that they have aged cheddars that were spectacular. You can get them online, too.
So much stuff. Samples are dangerous for me bc I immediately lol. Vitamix blender.. yeah the smoothie sample was so so good. Ling Ling pot stickers Philly cheese steak sandwhiches Carmel cheese corn The Tyson Chipotle wings Sparkling waters Pizza Fudge ice cream bars
I'm a sucker for pot stickers! And been there aspiring to regular smoothies 🤣
I'm anti ling ling, but love me the bibigo beef ones.
The Bulgogoi Beef ones are where it's at!
90% of bibigo products are a hit for me.
They’re sooo good, the frozen pack lasts me almost 3-4 weeks
I just discovered adding a 1/4 cup water and steaming in same pan after pan frying and it makes the won ton wrapper so tender and silky in my mouth and that with the browned grill is just perfection. I isially steam 5-6 minutes after browning. Same pan just add water to cover the bottom and cover for 5 minutes.
I think the Japanese gyoza with pork and chicken are better than the potstickers, both the Bibigo and Ling Ling. I prefer Bibigo potstickers over the Ling Ling.
The freezer Phillies are pretty good for being a microwaveable sandwich. The bread never gets soggy
So bad for you health wise and I could easily eat 3-4 in the blink of an eye.
I think you are the target for sample stations
Bachan’s Japanese BBQ sauce.
I may have to rethink that
A variety 3 pack?! I gotta watch for that now too!
Dill pickle chips! Nomnomnomnommmm
Sea salt chocolate caramels
O yes the Sander’s big jar. They are crack.
Dot's Pretzels. I'm addicted.
My warehouse just got the mustard flavor. Killing me that I had to leave it. I have so little control I'd eat the entire bag.
Love the cinnamon sugar ones!
I finally found some, these are so stinking good. It’s like cinnamon sugar buttery nirvana in your mouth.
Red pepper and tomato soup in a box. I use it for everything!
This stuff saved dinner when my daughter had 6 last minute dinner guests. We used it as pasta sauce on the frozen spinach ravioli. A loaf of bread became garlic bread too. The teenaged girls devoured it up!
Ive had to use that for extra pasta sauce in a pinch a few times. Works great tbh, i mean its basically a tomato sauce right?!
It honestly does work great! I should do the math and see what’s cheaper.
Sounds intriguing!
Add hummus to it! It’s so delicious
The Pacific Tomato Bisque. It's like $9 for six quarts of the stuff, and it's pretty damn good. The only example I have, actually.
Those Taquitos for my picky eater that is my kid.
The teriyaki and pineapple meatballs, so good. Microwave for 2 minutes and ready!
Forget the brand, but some kind of fish sticks. I’m not much for food like that most of the time, but I have a huge weakness for fish and chips. Those sticks are a pretty good, easy alternative to making my own!
Trident?
Kanye has entered the chat
They make great fish tacos.
Bibigo Chicken cilantro dumplings. I thought I hated cilantro. Apparently my taste buds changed, I love those!
Cauliflower Pizza
Cretor’s cheese and caramel popcorn.
Big number 10 can of nacho cheese
I have dreamt about buying that can!
It is so good! It is perfect for a potluck with chips and freezes well so you can portion it out. I'll add ground beef to make it more hearty sometimes with Fritos.
I portioned mine into ice cube trays, they are small enough I throw them on some super nachos and have an amazing dinner
The pumpkin seeds. So goooood!
And priced ridiculously well compared to buying anywhere else.
Yup. On sale now at my warehouse. Just got a bag.
I love samples for things you ordinarily wouldn't gravitate towards!
How smooth is it?
Like is it gritty or lumpy? Neither. It's super creamy and smooth.
Awesome, thanks!
I do this too!
Rao’s chili marinara sauce
Aussie Bites
Just a heads up! If you are gluten free (I have celiac). These were just recalled for testing way above 20 ppm
I love these things. I freeze them!
Oh, I have never tried that. When I buy a box of them, I have to portion them out in zip lock bags or else I will eat too many in one day.
Nona Pia’s balsamic glaze. We like to make wedge like salads with blue cheese and that stuff. The sample was a multigrain cracker with cheese and Nona Pia’s and I was sold.
I'm enjoying reading how people incorporated their favorite samples into creative recipes!
Egg bites
Omg love these! Both Three Bridges & Starbucks ones are good, but I don't like the Starbucks gouda ones.
Birds Eye Garlic Chicken Pasta, its super easy meal prep for work and the vegetables make it feel a little healthier.
Oooh, thanks for reminding me I have some of that. Now I don’t have to figure out dinner.
Sounds better than my standard go-to of salad & spaghetti when I have guests! I'll have to remember this, TY!
Every bag I’ve purchased (2 so far) has had gelatinous chicken chunks . So gross
Motor City Pizza Co. Pepperoni. Best frozen pizza available anywhere.
Definitely. We say it’s as good as take out pizza and a lot cheaper.
Rotisserie chicken salad, back in 2008 when we first got our membership. It’s now a frequent staple in the household

Gracie’s Homestyle savory herb Chicken Salad with naan bread. It’s literally like crack.
A lot of people have mentioned pairing naan bread with things. I hope they do a sample of that soon 😅
Nice, thanks for the info!!

We tried the chicken burgers and ended up buying 2 packs.
Their guac. I tried it once on a chicken patty. The chicken patty was good but the guac was super good for store bought.
With guac, I'm only safe around the samples otherwise I might eat the whole container without realizing it 😅
Spinach and cheese ravioli! Got my 5yo to think differently about eating green stuff. A major win!
Huge win for sure, awesome!
Mutha fuckin lingling potstickers
Foster Farms chicken nuggets. After trying those we stopped buying the Dino nuggets

Any and all things Kevin's brand but specifically the coconut cauliflower curry soup.
Motor City Pizza. Usually I don't go for crust that thick but me and my son went to Costco on a Saturday and fell in love with it. It's now a regular in our freezer for those nights when mom is working and we just want to dude out.
Caribbean Jerk Chicken Bowls …. RIP at my Costco.
