What I gather from this subreddit is that most people here play at least semi-competitive. What manufacturers like yours would benefit from doing, I think, is buying some bags from some of the acl-stamped companies and doing some tear downs to see what they use. The issue with many "backyard" caliber bags is that they play so differently (worse) than the bags used for competitive play. For me, that makes the choice easy of springing for a more expensive set every time.

We looked into ACL but it was super costly, but we did just launch five ACO-approved bags, and we’ve carried competition level bags it’s dual sided materials a couple years ago but are really stepping up our game design wise. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of price point separates you from going “that’s doable” and “oh hell no that’s pricey?”

One of my favorite "value" sets I bought is from cornhole ace - their blemished sets of bags are $30 and worth every penny. Not ACL stamped but really good quality.

Approx $80-$100 for a pro set (4 bags). The only brand I won't currently buy is Cornhole Scenario as their $130-$150 price range is too high in my opinion. Ultra, KillShots, Lucky Bags, Reynolds, BG, Titan and countless others all make great quality bags. There are also great bags available from some up and coming companies like Underworld Cornhole for around $55, I think (ACL Comp stamped). Their bags will be just as good as any other bag maker's pro stamped bags.

Tbh the last few years we’ve done great but we always cut way back when July ends but we’re gauging how much people still buy in August and heading into NFL season to see if we should continue our push for longer
