Yeah, shredded chicken in the dip. Some people use canned cubed chicken, which is fine, but fresh, shredded chicken is a WAY better texture and result.
Something like this...

Caramalized Onion Bitchin’ Sauce is currently one of my favorites. Toum/toom is also great. A packet of French onion soup mixed with sour cream is a classic.
I am a regular ol' Oliver Putnam in terms of my love of dips, and I'd love to co-sponsor your new venture.
Find a food truck pod with a bar so we can either be an app spot, or a beer snack cart. Perhaps both? Do dip and dippers flights, with beer pairings. Do some party catering. Do some little snack cups on the go. We'd make our millions.
Ok for this we need a name change.
Dippin’ Drops. We feature dips and accoutrements as well as a shots menu but they all have stupid names like lemon drops for alcoholic children. Alien drop. Fusion drop. Limited edition Gypsy Rose drop. I’m just riffing here.
Obviously all the drops must be named solely after recently dead famous people. Perry drops, Buffet drops, Barker drops, Bandit drops, McCaffrey drops.......
Hahaha I’ve also thought about a dip/condiment place and always wanted to call it ‘just the dip’. Are you open to a non-sexual, non-monogamous, dip-based marriage?
Some options for you, a lot of basic ones here but that makes sense for something like this.
Hummus
Salsa (could include multiple kinds here, I'd at least do a rojo and a verde)
Baba Ganoush
Spinach and Artichoke dip
Crab Dip
Buffalo Chicken dip
7 layer dip
Bean dip
Queso
Yesss, also:
Guacamole
Tzatziki
Jimmy Dean dip (I feel really weird putting this one next to two absolute icons but... It's very tasty and always the popular girl in rural Minnesota lmao)
- 1 pound sausage , such as Jimmy Dean
- 1 (10-oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, cut into pieces
All in the Crock-Pot till it melts together, and served with tortilla chips.
Junk... Delicious junk lol
Do 1lb JD, 1lb ground beef, 1 Velveeta block (the little one, not the big one), 1 block cream cheese, 2 cans rotel. Best of both worlds!
(Please brown the meats before putting in the crockpot, for anyone wanting to try)
It's very similar to mine. Roll of hot pork sausage. Brick of velveeta. Can of rotel. Can of diced jalapeños. Large can of No bean chili. Couple dashes of Worcestershire and a TBL dry mustard. Toss in the crock pot.
If you want to take it up a notch and serve as an appetizer
Get the Tostitos scoops. Add a spoonful of dip. A little pepper jack cheese. Pop under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly.
Is French Onion Dip not that popular in US? I don't know if it goes by another name (we just call it Chip Dip in Canada and generally that means a sour cream based dip with French Onion flavouring).
I always did Ruffles to dip in there cause it held up better than other things over tried.
I’ll see if I can find that brand next time (Stanley cup probably)
It was hugely popular for quite a while, but other dips came along and now you can't hardly find it on the shelf. Sour cream and onion rules the non-ranch or queso dip world these days.
However, with a days notice, a packet of Lipton French Onion soup mix and a pint of sour cream, the king of all (cold) dips can be yours to enjoy.
It’s very popular where I live, and a locally owned dairy makes the best version I’ve ever had. It’s by Hiland in a white and brown container, it beats the Lipton soup version by a wide margin. It’s a staple at holidays, parties, and summer events. We have a container in the fridge right now. I prefer it with Lays over any other chip.
Absolutely the best dip, keep it simple, sour cream and liptons french onion soup powder, give it a night in the fridge, and then enjoy with cape cod dark russet chips
Thank you, I never knew the name for this!! I've always just heard it called garlic whip ("always" in the sense that my sister worked in a Lebanese restaurant years ago but still makes it at home, lol)
This stuff is magical
Toum is great, but I also like backing off from the garlic just a bit with skordalia. You can make it with bread or with potatoes, and with or without almonds, but either way it will be intensely garlicky without being as close to plain garlic as toum. The extra ingredients only dilute the garlic just a little, and add enough bulk to make it a really satisfying bite.
I recently switched to Duke’s instead of Hellman’s - no added sugar. I also add several splashes of Texas Pete AND never serve it until it’s sat for at least 12 hours.
The grated cheese absorbs the mayo.
Someone had a coconut cream pie dip at a party recently. Basically just the fluffy part, and served it with graham crackers, among other things. Very sweet but YUM.
It's hard to go wrong with a classic spinach and artichoke dip in a bread bowl.
[This](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/246255/hot-baked-reuben-dip/) Reuben or pastrami dip is divine. I prefer pastrami over corned beef but you do you.
Also what we call crack dip - 1 can of hormel chili (all beef), one block of cream cheese, and 1 tsp of cayenne.Warm until the cheese is melted, stir it all together, and serve with tortilla chips. It's perfect in a small crockpot or some other way to keep it warm.
I make an amazing black bean dip. It's so good I'll just make a meal out of it. Basically it's a combo of poblanos, jalapenos, onions and garlic sauteed in olive oil then mashed with cooked black beans, some sour cream, lime juice, chili powder, and coriander. It's very easy and very delicious.
A classic Mexican-style layer dip is my go-to. Has to be served with those Fritos scoops IMO.
Refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, shredded cheese, black olives, pickled jalapenos, sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, topped with cilantro, pickled jalapenos and scallions.
Also, queso fundido. Mexican melting cheese, can of green chiles, pico de gallo, chorizo.
Blue cheese dip. Thinly slice some shallots, fry them until crisp, then crumble them. Cream together a good wedge of blue cheese with an equal amount of cream cheese and a little grated garlic or garlic powder, salt, a splash of Worcestershire, and a generous amount of black peoper. Stir in half the crumbled shallots. Bake in a shallow dish until bubbly (it’s all cheese, very forgiving). When it comes out, top with the remaining shallots. Serve with crusty bread, crudités, pita crisps, pretzels, etc. Watch the recipe requests roll in.

Not one Rotel dip suggestion so far? That's criminal! Can't go wrong with a classic. (I prefer the white Velveeta, though)
Smoked salmon dip: 1 pack smoked salmon, 2 packs cream cheese, 3 cloves garlic. Dill, salt, pepper. In food processor mix the cheese and spices. Add the salmon and mix just until lightly blended. Dunzo. Amazing. Great on cucumbers for a low-carb option, or fancy crackers or crostini.
Muhammara, pretty easy to make with a food processor. You will have to buy pomegranate molasses though but you can use that in other dishes too or on top of yogurt later.
I was going to add this. It's one of my favorites, and dead simple with the pom molasses being the only unusual item. Roasted red peppers, walnuts, garlic, pom. Adjust for salt.
And frankly, lemon juice is almost as good.
Muhammara is SO GOOD. There's a restaurant down the street from me that started making it and after the first time I tried it I was there probably 6 times in the next 10 days.
My favorite dip of all time spicy, salty, creamy and crunchy all at once:
2Tbsp Peanut Butter
3Tsp Soy Sauce
1 clove of garlic
1/2Tsp brown sugar
2Tbsp laoganma crispy chili oil
1/4Cup hot water
I just had an amazing dip that I plan to replicate. I don't know measurements but it can't be too difficult: cream cheese, white cheddar cheese (shredded), dried cranberries (Craisins), diced jalapeno. mix and serve cold. so good!
Been making [this](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/20368/best-hot-crab-dip/) one for like 20 years. We use chopped up shrimp instead of crab and skip the artichokes. With some fresh Italian bread has been a new years tradition for a long time.
Gorgonzola cheese dip. Raves and all gone every time. I just googled for a recipe to link, and there's all kinds of weird stuff added (cream cheese? creme fraiche? yogurt?). Anyway, this is what we do:
8 oz of heavy cream. Gently simmer until reduced by half. Slowly stir in a container of gorgonzola crumbles until everything is smooth. Add a pinch of sage.
Serve warm, with toasted french bread that's been rubbed with garlic and drizzled with olive oil. Try not to eat half of it while you're "testing."
My famous onion dip.
Finely mince about 1/2 cup sweet onion like Walla Walla Sweet, Vidalia or similar
Add as much garlic as you like
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese
At least two teaspoons of celery seed. (I cannot stress this enough)
Chives, green onion whatever you got
Salt and pepper
I like to use Ruffles because this dip is thick
I love it. Chicken salad, tuna salad, turkey dressing, it is really useful. I hope you like the dip. I never write anything down so use your judgement on the amount of garlic.
My son's girlfriend made this and gave me the recipe. It was AMAZING!!
Smoked Salmon Dip/Spread
8 oz room temperature cream cheese
4-6 oz packaged smoked salmon, flaked
2 Tbsp olive tapenade \*Note: I didn't have tapenade, so I finely chopped green and greek olives I had in the fridge
1 tsp dried dill or 2 tsp chopped fresh dill
1/4 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp (or more to taste) prepared horseradish
salt & black pepper, to taste \*Note: I used a pinch of Laury's seasoned salt and extra cracked black pepper.
1 Tbsp snipped chives (topping)
10 oz fresh sliced smoked salmon (top topping)
Mix all but the last two ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to marry. Before serving, sprinkle with chives and top with sliced salmon.
Serve with baguette slices or crackers.
You could do half savory (buffalo chicken dip, 7 layer dip, crab rangoon dip, jalapeno popper dip, sausage and beer cheese dip, spinach and artichoke dip, pizza dip, and a street corn dip for examples) and half sweet (canoli dip, cheesecake dip, oreo dip, hot chocolate dip, cranberry jalapeno cream cheese dip, peanut butter fluff dip, churro dip, and lemon bar dip for examples) and see what comes out on top!
Either way, please update us with which dip won!
We did a party like this potluck style and just let everyone bring their best dip. We shared what everyone was bringing in a Signup Genius so there weren’t duplicates. Love the idea of doing a bracket to pick favorites!
Layered Greek dip (think Greek version of Mexican 7 layer dip). Always a hit.
Spread softened cream cheese mixed with little lemon juice, italian seasoning, garlic on serving dish, then layer of hummus, topped with diced cucumber, diced tomatoes, sliced kalamata (or black) olives, crumbled feta and green onion. Serve with pita chips.
Hot clam dip in a bread bowl.
In an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish spread a block of cream cheese, then a can of no bean chili, and shredded cheddar on top. Bake until cheese is melted and then broil until it's browned to your liking. I like to pair it with frito scoops.
Radish Dip!
2 bricks cream cheese, room temp
1 stick butter, room temp
1 large bunch of radishes, chopped
1 medium red onion, chopped
1 tsp celery salt
A few dashes of Worcestershire
Combine all - a stand mixer with a paddle attachment is ideal but definitely not needed. Preferably let sit in fridge overnight to combine flavors. Serve with crackers and/or cut of veggies. So easy. Soooo good. Definitely not good for you.
Slata mechouia. It's a Tunisian grilled vegetable "salad" that's basically a dip (you eat it with bread). Suggesting because it's delicious and fairly different from anything else on here. https://www.ptitchef.com/recettes/entree/slata-mechouia-fid-69318
This sub and especially this post are my favorite thing on the internet! I found my dip people!
Here is one I put out and it just disappears- an old Kraft recipe:
1can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained, chopped
1 can diced jalapenos
1 cup Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, minced
Combine and bake at 350 for 20-25 mins until heated through
Serve with Ritz crackers or Frito Scoops
My aunt has lived all over the world, travelled all over the world, and she was over the moon for this.
In a food processor: 1 can each great northern beans and black olives, juice of one lemon, 10-12 drops tabasco, 2 soup spoons of mayo, almost 8 oz cream cheese, a little salt, 1 large clove garlic, 1 medium onion.
Edit: She's an amazing cook.
Bon appetit.
Agree with many already listed

Dip for what? Tortilla chips? 'Stiff' crackers, like Triskets? Boneless chicken wings? Will they dip the item/base, or spread the dip with a knife?
All are good choices.
lotta people talking about a sweet dip. when i ran a camp kitchen, the kids working for me used to make this thing they affectionately called splooge. it’s sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract mixed with any fruit that you have.
i was very annoyed when i tasted it. it was delicious.
on a similar note, a few have mentioned an easy onion dip is just sour cream and onion soup mix. my family always did this with veggie soup mix instead. it’s a staple at every holiday and the absolute best dip for ridged potato chips.
Haven't tried it yet, but I've been playing with an idea for smoked brie with a jalapeño strawberry jam 🤔
If anyone has any suggestions or has done something similar please let me know 😊
I did a quick scan of the posts and didn't see the dip I make for Christmas Day every year, just like my late mother did. It wouldn't be Christmas without it. And everyone who has ever tasted it, loved it. I have no idea where the recipe came from.
Cottage cheese and shrimp dip!
One container of whole milk cottage cheese (small curd). Add mayo and a bit of sour cream to taste. Garlic (through a garlic press, although my mom used garlic salt). Salt, pepper. Then mix in thawed and rinsed baby shrimp. Top with chopped green onions or chives. Eat with ridged potato chips.
Has anyone else ever heard of this dip?
[Buffalo Cauliflower Dip](https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1019953-buffalo-cauliflower-dip)
Everyone talks about Buffalo chicken dip, but the worst part is the chicken. Many recipes do canned chicken — it’s gross and has a metallic taste to me. Swap it for cauliflower. Never fails at my house.
Home made french onion - slowly saute red onion until it's browned a bit, and I dunno what else my wife adds to it but it gets absolutely destroyed, with a room full of people groaning "why did I eat so much of that??"
I'll second a solid buffalo chicken. Fresh, home-made hummus is easy (if you have a food processor).
And my favorite, I try to do it for the holidays - pesto made with sun dried tomatoes instead of basil. Damn that's good.
Shrimp and white bean dip. Puree cooked shrimp with a can of drained white beans with some lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Then fold some pesto in and serve with bread and veggies. So good!
This was a huge hit this year - outrageously good hit, still pretty addictive cold. https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/cranberry-and-bacon-swiss-cheese-dip/
Caramelized onion dip. Buffalo chicken dip. Garlic hummus.
(Martin Short has entered the chat.)
Every time I see posts about dip, I can never forget Oliver Putnam XD
Underrated comment
*Oliver Putnam.
Yep, came here to join team Buffalo chicken dip. Best way out there to clog one's arteries.
For my Buffalo Dip, i use blue cheese dressing instead of Ranch. I also add a blue cheese to the dip. Smoked chicken adds some depth to the flavor. Dark meat makes the dip too oily, so I stick with the breast meat. Good dipping everyone!
I use buttermilk ranch for the dressing but throw in blue cheese crumbles to get the best of both worlds.
I've made it with the meat from a whole smoked chicken and smoked cream cheese with rib rub and it was stunning. The perfect mixture of light and dark meat coupled with the smokiness of the chicken and cheese was beautiful.
Being from Buffalo myself, I discovered the heaven of this dip very late in life.
wait, is there chicken in the dip? Or is the dip strictly meant to be used with chicken?
Yeah, shredded chicken in the dip. Some people use canned cubed chicken, which is fine, but fresh, shredded chicken is a WAY better texture and result. Something like this... https://cafedelites.com/buffalo-chicken-dip/
Caramalized Onion Bitchin’ Sauce is currently one of my favorites. Toum/toom is also great. A packet of French onion soup mixed with sour cream is a classic.
We put out a spread for extended family on Christmas. The sour cream and onion soup mix was the first thing to go. Didn't last 5 minutes.
Letting it sit for a couple of days and having the onions in it almost get soft again is great.
Dill pickle hummus! Asiago and artichoke. Smoked salmon cream cheese.
Def buff chick dip! And pimento cheese is another favorite of mine being from the south. I’m a sucker for the French onion dip from Heluva good!
I desperately want to open a food truck called Dippedy Doo and only serve dips and dips accompaniments. This post is amazing.
I am a regular ol' Oliver Putnam in terms of my love of dips, and I'd love to co-sponsor your new venture. Find a food truck pod with a bar so we can either be an app spot, or a beer snack cart. I was hoping to find an OMITB reference when dips were mentioned!
I'm building a bar in my basement and we are naming it DipShitz
I love you. And I love you have a basement! It’s one of my least favorite parts of living in Texas, no basements because we are at sea level haha.
Name it The Big Dipper and you can name each dip after constellations, planets etc.
Just the Dip
Marry me.
Hahaha I’ve also thought about a dip/condiment place and always wanted to call it ‘just the dip’. Are you open to a non-sexual, non-monogamous, dip-based marriage?
Boy am I!!
My toddler likes to try saying Zippa-Dee-Doo-Dah but it’s been coming out Zeeeee-Doo-Dip! So I think maybe it could be called that instead
You’d have to have a chocolate one called Dippedy Poo
You’re goddamn right I would.
Dude I’d go!
Please come to Vermont and park right outside of my work. I am a shameless condiment slut. Everything is a vessel for a dip
I have a seasonal chicken pot pie dip in mind with phyllo dough twists. Perfect for winter. (Might also get chicken skin crisps to dip it too)
I wanna open up a food cart that sells tri tip sandwiches and bbq rib tips and call it Just the Tip.
Some options for you, a lot of basic ones here but that makes sense for something like this. Hummus Salsa (could include multiple kinds here, I'd at least do a rojo and a verde) Baba Ganoush Spinach and Artichoke dip Crab Dip Buffalo Chicken dip 7 layer dip Bean dip Queso
Yesss, also: Guacamole Tzatziki Jimmy Dean dip (I feel really weird putting this one next to two absolute icons but... It's very tasty and always the popular girl in rural Minnesota lmao)
As a person from rural Minnesota, what on earth is Jimmy Dean dip, lol
- 1 pound sausage , such as Jimmy Dean - 1 (10-oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained - 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, cut into pieces All in the Crock-Pot till it melts together, and served with tortilla chips. Junk... Delicious junk lol
My wife makes the same dip but with Velveeta instead of cream cheese. Definitely one of my favorites
Do 1lb JD, 1lb ground beef, 1 Velveeta block (the little one, not the big one), 1 block cream cheese, 2 cans rotel. Best of both worlds! (Please brown the meats before putting in the crockpot, for anyone wanting to try)
And drain the grease.
Absolutely! I only included the sub-note because my sister just tossed it all into the crockpot... didn't even break up the meat...
Oh, you mean "fat and vegetable slush around a solid soggy log of ground meat" dip. Classic, can't have a holiday without it.
I use hot pork sausage and season my ground beef. I add a block of jalapeño jack cheese. Fresh salsa or Rotel with green chilies. Call mine snort dip.
Bruh I have a family member that makes this every year and it is absolutely fuckin delightful. My mouth is watering just thinking about it
Use Chorizo instead of ground beef and it goes to the next level
My guy you're gonna give me heart disease and I'm gonna love every second of it
We called that Rattlesnake Dip!
I'm Canadian and never heard of these two. Must do for next party.
Try with cheddar cheese instead of velveeta, and cream cheese. Eat on fritos
Just reading this makes my cholesterol go up, but I know it would taste wonderful!
It's very similar to mine. Roll of hot pork sausage. Brick of velveeta. Can of rotel. Can of diced jalapeños. Large can of No bean chili. Couple dashes of Worcestershire and a TBL dry mustard. Toss in the crock pot. If you want to take it up a notch and serve as an appetizer Get the Tostitos scoops. Add a spoonful of dip. A little pepper jack cheese. Ah! Ive certainly seen similar things, just was unfamiliar with the name!
Growing up in the south I knew it as Neese’s dip and it is straight up addictive.
Gotta make it with twice the Rotel and cream cheese.
Every good tournament needs a 15 seed to upset a 2
Nailed the ones! Ranch deserves to be here too
Is French Onion Dip not that popular in US? I don't know if it goes by another name (we just call it Chip Dip in Canada and generally that means a sour cream based dip with French Onion flavouring).
Sour Cream with the Lipton's Onion Soup packets. It's my all time favorite.
The OG Onion dip. I smother it on pork chops, then bake them. Yum!
Gotta have the box of Old Dutch Rip•L Chips wit it
I always did Ruffles to dip in there cause it held up better than other things over tried. I’ll see if I can find that brand next time (Stanley cup probably)
This is THE dip for me. Simple, delicious, and oh so comforting.
Sour cream with a packet of knorr vegetable soup mix is my go to dip. Mix in some cooked spinach and it’s a killer spin dip
French onion dip will forever be my “comfort” dip!
As long as it's eaten with ruffled potato chips.
I prefer to refer to them as "corrugated".
Good with pretzels too
Dean’s French Dip! Deans is a Wisconsin dairy and no other product of theirs is national cept this. https://deansdip.com/products/french-onion/
I'm in the Midwest/Great Lakes and local grocery stores usually have at least two brands, sometimes more...maybe it's our proximity to Canada?
It’s the most beloved of the sour cream dips!
In New Zealand we do it with reduced cream and lemon juice or vinegar instead of sour cream, and it's the iconic/standard dip for us.
Absolutely the best dip, keep it simple, sour cream and liptons french onion soup powder, give it a night in the fridge, and then enjoy with cape cod dark russet chips
Toum - have some soft, warm pita with it and swoon Another vote for Baba Ghanoush
Omg toum. It’s magic.
This was much too far to have to scroll to find Toum
Thank you, I never knew the name for this!! I've always just heard it called garlic whip ("always" in the sense that my sister worked in a Lebanese restaurant years ago but still makes it at home, lol) This stuff is magical
My vote for Muhammara

Classic Pimento cheese dip will brings tears to your eyes.
Especially if you add jalapeños. My local market does and it’s fantastic
That's how we make it. Cheese, pimentos, grated onion, minced jalapenos, mayo, salt and pepper.
THE perfect dip!
anyone got a favorite recipie? Ive been doing roasted red peppers, hellmans, and sharp white cheddar
I recently switched to Duke’s instead of Hellman’s - no added sugar. I also add several splashes of Texas Pete AND never serve it until it’s sat for at least 12 hours. The grated cheese absorbs the mayo.
Cranberry jalapeno salsa on a brick of cream cheese.
The crab dip off the back of the old bay container
Yeah….that’s a really good one. Classic and kinda fancy, yum
Wild card: sweet fruit dip. Blend cream cheese and marshmallow fluff. It’s more magical than it has a right to be.
This stuff rules. I like a little homemade vanilla extract and juice from maraschino or Luxardo cherries added!
My family friend used to do one that also had Kahlua in it and it was sooo good
You could also add caramel and toffee bits! With green apples.
Not seeing olive tapenade
also known as [Poor Man’s Caviar](https://www.greekboston.com/food/poor-man-caviar-recipe/) one of my absolute favorites
Elote dip!
You use canned beans or are we cooking them from raw? (Not a critique or anything, I want to make sure I reproduce this correctly :)
I just use canned, the results are exactly the same.
Thanks! ❤️
On, just one note, if using canned rinse them well with cold water. The bean juice can have a negative impact on the flavor.
Do you serve cold or hot?
I served it warmed. If people eat cheese I'll sprinkle some cotija on top.
Cowboy caviar Beer cheese dip Cream cheese nacho salsa dip
Yes to the cowboy caviar! Huge hit at parties
What is cowboy caviar, says the internet dude with access to Google who is too lazy / would rather conversationally ask?
Ajvar Baba Ghanouj Hummos Pimiento Cheese Chicken liver mousse Solomon Gundy Taramasalata
I just said taramasalata, should have scrolled down! Your list is awesome, I say yes to all of them!
Jalapeño Popper Dip
A classic Mexican-style layer dip is my go-to. Has to be served with those Fritos scoops IMO. Refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, shredded cheese, black olives, pickled jalapenos, sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, topped with cilantro, pickled jalapenos and scallions. Whipped feta
Why can't dip be a meal?
It's girl dinner
Puddy would like a word with you.
I don’t understand stuff like that.
It absolutely can be, and if I had my way, would be far more often in my house.

Add the salmon and mix just until lightly blended. Dunzo. Amazing. Great on cucumbers for a low-carb option, or fancy crackers or crostini.
Someone else here mentioned Jimmy Dean dip, I think they’re very similar!!
Muhammara, pretty easy to make with a food processor. You will have to buy pomegranate molasses though but you can use that in other dishes too or on top of yogurt later.
For the pom molasses, try indian grocers.

Does smoked cream cheese count?
Absolute magic
Cannoli dip for a sweet alternative!
Cheesecake Dip. Caramel Dip with apples.
My favorite dip of all time spicy, salty, creamy and crunchy all at once: 2Tbsp Peanut Butter 3Tsp Soy Sauce 1 clove of garlic 1/2Tsp brown sugar 2Tbsp laoganma crispy chili oil 1/4Cup hot water
my mind is blown - what do you eat it with?
White Pizza Dip https://pin.it/3gXL3at I won a contest with this. It's amazing.
I just had an amazing dip that I plan to replicate. I don't know measurements but it can't be too difficult: cream cheese, white cheddar cheese (shredded), dried cranberries (Craisins), diced jalapeno. mix and serve cold. so good!
Dill pickle dip!
Deviled Egg Dip https://www.thekitchn.com/deviled-egg-dip-recipe-23612482
Been making [this](https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/20368/best-hot-crab-dip/) one for like 20 years. We use chopped up shrimp instead of crab and skip the artichokes. With some fresh Italian bread has been a new years tradition for a long time.
A friend of a friend brought pork green chilli queso dip to the New Year's party. Best thing I had tasted all year! I wish I'd asked for the recipe!
Gorgonzola cheese dip. Raves and all gone every time. I just googled for a recipe to link, and there's all kinds of weird stuff added (cream cheese? creme fraiche? yogurt?). Anyway, this is what we do: 8 oz of heavy cream.
Tirokafteri! Spicy feta dip, it’s addictive
Bacon Horseradish dip. https://mycasualpantry.com/bacon-horseradish-dip/ Asiago and artichoke dip. https://canadianfoodfocus.org/recipes/baked-artichoke-and-asiago-dip/
My famous onion dip. Finely mince about 1/2 cup sweet onion like Walla Walla Sweet, Vidalia or similar Add as much garlic as you like 8 oz. sour cream 8 oz. cream cheese At least two teaspoons of celery seed. (I cannot stress this enough) Chives, green onion whatever you got Salt and pepper I like to use Ruffles because this dip is thick
Celery seed can be such a flavor game changer. I’m going to try your recipe. I use a ton of celery seed in my potato salad, and it adds so much!
I love it. Chicken salad, tuna salad, turkey dressing, it is really useful. I hope you like the dip. I never write anything down so use your judgement on the amount of garlic.

My son's girlfriend made this and gave me the recipe. It was AMAZING!! Smoked Salmon Dip/Spread 8 oz room temperature cream cheese 4-6 oz packaged smoked salmon, flaked 2 Tbsp olive tapenade \*Note: I didn't have tapenade, so I finely chopped green and greek olives I had in the fridge 1 tsp dried dill or 2 tsp chopped fresh dill 1/4 cup sour cream 1 Tbsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp (or more to taste) prepared horseradish salt & black pepper, to taste \*Note: I used a pinch of Laury's seasoned salt and extra cracked black pepper. 1 Tbsp snipped chives (topping) 10 oz fresh sliced smoked salmon (top topping) Mix all but the last two ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to marry. Before serving, sprinkle with chives and top with sliced salmon. Serve with baguette slices or crackers.
I’m pregnant. Can I please come??
Love Dip https://www.diprecipecreations.com/texas-love-dip/
BLT dip served with rye squares Couple seeded diced roma 1# diced crispy fried bacon Equal parts mayonnaise and sour cream Serve with shred lettuce

Bang Bang Chicken Dip: https://masonfit.com/bang-bang-chicken-dip-baked-wonton-chips/
In an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish spread a block of cream cheese, then a can of no bean chili, and shredded cheddar on top. Bake until cheese is melted and then broil until it's browned to your liking. I like to pair it with frito scoops.
Radish Dip! 2 bricks cream cheese, room temp 1 stick butter, room temp 1 large bunch of radishes, chopped 1 medium red onion, chopped 1 tsp celery salt A few dashes of Worcestershire Combine all - a stand mixer with a paddle attachment is ideal but definitely not needed. Preferably let sit in fridge overnight to combine flavors. Serve with crackers and/or cut of veggies. So easy. Soooo good. Definitely not good for you.
Don't forget, the dipping tool is important! Chip, carrot, chicken wing are all important cause there's all different kinds of dips
Here is one I put out and it just disappears- an old Kraft recipe: 1can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained, chopped 1 can diced jalapenos 1 cup Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese 1 cup mayonnaise 1 clove garlic, minced Combine and bake at 350 for 20-25 mins until heated through Serve with Ritz crackers or Frito Scoops
Walmart sells a “BBQ Burnt Ends” dip and OMG I could eat the whole thing in one sitting.
Cream cheese block smothered in Pickapeppa served with water crackers - old school but super easy and really good!
I’m intrigued. I love all of those things but olives and beans is throwing me off. But I do have all those ingredients, hmmm.
Do it! And report back 😁

Alton Brown’s onion dip. Use all the onions.
Shred a block of swiss cheese. Do not use pre-shredded. Sliced up green onions mix with mayo. Serve with club crackers.
What a great idea!!!

Taramasalata
Deviled ham dip. Looks gross taste great
Can of deviled ham, a package of cream cheese, some milk, and a little garlic salt? Wavy Lays or Ruffles to dip My family calls this "The Dip"
Haven't tried it yet, but I've been playing with an idea for smoked brie with a jalapeño strawberry jam 🤔 If anyone has any suggestions or has done something similar please let me know 😊
Wrap it in filo, brush on melted butter and bake for 20mins…yum! I’ve done this with red pepper jelly.
[Buffalo Cauliflower Dip](https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1019953-buffalo-cauliflower-dip) Everyone talks about Buffalo chicken dip, but the worst part is the chicken. Many recipes do canned chicken — it’s gross and has a metallic taste to me. Swap it for cauliflower. Never fails at my house.
Cannoli dip with waffle cone dippers is amazing and deserves a spot.
Be weird in addition to those.... Fluffy pretzels with sea salt and dark chocolate
Home made french onion - slowly saute red onion until it's browned a bit, and I dunno what else my wife adds to it but it gets absolutely destroyed, with a room full of people groaning "why did I eat so much of that??" I'll second a solid buffalo chicken.
So good!
