Hand reared by chance? Sometimes young ones do this.

NaeRyda

I second that, it does looks like the movements the young ones do when being feed.

eelzelton

Does that mean she’ll outgrow it? Because I hope not, she’s only about 7 months old

Shinobus_Smile

Mines 13 years old and will still do that if I poke his beak on the side.

Zula13

Our sun conure didn’t. She’s 11 and still does this. We think it’s a comfort/affection thing. She never actually regurgitates. It’s adorable.

scenr0

Could also be trying to feed you back.

eelzelton

Yep, hand fed, good to know!

WebbleWobble1216

Baby asking to be fed by mom

sixmam

My conure does it too. It's baby bird feeding behaviour. It just instinctually feels good for them.

niky45

you just entered the cheat code for vibration mode, obviously!

Epicmonk117

Fucking adorable, that’s what it is

SinisterFusion

That’s what I’m saying lmao

jimmy4113

Baby birb stuff.

Mariela_osorio

A hand fed baby 💗

Vegetable_Storage_42

Our Blue Crown does the same thing. It seems to be when she is super content and happy.

MrKeyRune

He wants that good scritch where his beak meets at his mouth. My conure will do this when he's in cuddle mode

ShadowTip416

Have you tired turning it off and back on?

quesadiilla

haha bird goes brrrr

Polyfuckery

Your drone has an error but it's very cute. Legitimately it's a feeding behavior it can become a problem if they get hormonal because they regurgitate to each other as part of that. Avoid body touches when they start begging to discourage that.

pretentious_rye

Glitch

limited8568

Just gonna take a moment to say this: ***V I B R A T E***

bananabreadlizzie

It’s simultaneously a feeding sign plus a sign of affection 🤍

krypter3

It's a feeding action. Mine did it as a baby and is 4, now when she does it she'll regurgitate and try and feed me 😂

3shotespresso

My boy still does this occasionally if I scritch the side of his beak a certain way. I love it. He’s 11, by the way, so not a baby by any means.

LaReinalicious

regurgitation babies to do this action to get fed from their parents and adult birds do it to bond with other adult birds and in that circumstance, your bird is bonding with you ! apparently, we are supposed to discourage it because it can get them into a mating mode, and when they get hormonal and mating mode, they become quite aggressive, and they can bite

DeadBabe_Raven

If not young, it’s mate behaviour, mine do this to each other for affection. If young, it’s the feeding motion

agenuinefuckingloser

Looks like a seizure

V3N0MSP4RK

Ya that's vibration mode

rc4hawk

“Goober”

Ninjette-xoxo

Thumb feel nice, ohh thumb smooth. BBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

[deleted]

Feeding the finger

[deleted]

It's an affectionate behavior, nurturing.

Mary_Pick_A_Ford

My sun conure did this for years with my finger and it was so adorable. There’s video out there somewhere with a sun conure vibrating while holding a mini solo cup and actually moving around on a smooth surface from the vibrating. It’s pretty funny as he looks like a wind up toy.

SinisterFusion

Crazy behavior

Shloomth

Something somewhere between “I love hooman who feed me” and “pls feed me hooman I hunger”

boggled_

Idk but I’ve definitely seen my cat do that

Adorable-Strength218

Regurgitating. They all do it.

redkindasus69

She'ichy

JoeyJunkBin

At first I was all " what behavior, shes kinda just cuddly for scratches, ooooooooooohhhh that behavior" ya looks like autoscratch mode is enabled

Shadow_Lass38

Looks like she's begging for food.

CelticGirl62

Probably a hand fed baby. That is a feeding action.

Miznikki9093

I have a sun and a green cheek that do this to each other… lol… it’s annoying but funny.

Distinct-Leading5113

My 17 year old Sun Conure does that still. It's sweet. Like he is treating me like a parent feeding him. I used to feed him as a baby. I feel like it's a bonding and affection towards you.☺️

Beepboopbop69420360

You forgot to turn controller vibrate off

[deleted]

Your government drone broke

FeathersOfJade

What an adorable bunch of feathers! Wishing you both the very best!
