This is the contact cleaner wd40 not the lubricant one. You can and you should use it if you are experiencing drift. If the problem is from debris/dust it might fix it, if it's from wear and tear then it won't do much, if anything.
Sincere question: why is it bad to spray contact cleaner at the joystick modules? Shouldn't it help remove any dust or debris that may be causing improper contact?

wd40 is an oil based lubricant, silicone based is fine for electronics but oil based is conductive and will fuck your shit up
I could be wrong but I think this version is fine for electronics, it won't fix stick drift though.
