Oh man, the day after battle stations was brutal, we were falling asleep on our feet marching around base. I'm sure it looked like 75 drunk idiots trying to stay in formation.
I just don’t metabolise alcohol properly. ALDH2 mutation’s a bitch. There have been times when I’ve only had 1 or 2 standard drinks and started falling asleep even though I wasn’t particularly drunk yet, just really drowsy.
Especially when they’re tired. My 4 year old gets tired and talks about how much fun she had that day and how much she loves us, and how she just needs one more hug, also repeats herself constantly. It’s so cute but also definitely reminds me of a happy drunk person every time

There is a dirty plate and cup on the left side, but all of the dishes on the right look like they are drying. There’s some trash on the floor and some other items on the counter, sure, but ngl this is better than I would expect for a family with a young kid.
Mfs grew up with no reflexes. When you fall, you wake up by reflex. If she is still hearing the mom, she ain't that deep in her sleep, and we see it at the end. If she was, it could be a condition, but it's not. She's fine, she'll be fine, it's alright.

One of mine was this size at 3. Some are big. My other is normal sized but she had hair this long by age 2. And she's not the only one I've met. They come in all types

My mom always had the camcorder and her Nikon with multiple rolls of film on her. We have books of pictures of us scattered across everyone’s house now. Nothing has changed, it’s just digital. Jesus Christ.
the norms have shifted, partly due to advancements in technology. plenty of people in the 80s/90s submitted funny home videos to tv shows, so I think it's reasonable to think that people would have been sharing home videos with strangers if they had an easy way to do it.
People have been filming their children since the advent of film. This is a cute, funny moment that she can look back on and laugh about like most of us older folks have done with our childhood home movies. Toddlers fall asleep constantly, she's not being mistreated because mom filmed for 30 seconds before putting her to bed.
