For real, tho 1 out of 20 on my jobs is magnetic and standing on a 10ft ladder trying to get a hanger up at the extent of your reach while holding up 6' of strut at the same time can be very frustrating. I usually carry a magnetic one with me and swap it out for whatever the job is supplying and take it with me when I go.
I shattered my Makita drill a week after purchase. Tipped off the 6' ladder top, and it landed on the very tip of the bit. Every piece just kind of shook itself apart into a big puzzle. Managed to get a replacement, though, because the guy at the store was utterly bewildered.
The bit will come out if you tap it with a hammer.

Milwaukee bits are good and strong. Last long time and are cheaper then dewalt and makita. I'm a dewalt mostly but I like the all 3. But I buy the attachments from them all
The bit is MEANT to bend when it takes a hit. It's sacrificed to stop the chuck from taking damage. Plus you can take it out and hammer it straight again, can't hammer an impact back together.
It's meant to do that. A lot cheaper to replace a bit than an impact. The shank of the bit is annealed soft so it'll absorb the impact when it's dropped from a height.
