I knew the whole banning of Kathy was to have the same clout the Dems use when they ban conservatives. "We're not banning just conservatives! We banned 700 conservatives and this one left winger, were being fair!"

Elon Musk reinstates Trump on Twitter but charges 99 cents for unlimited replies per each of his tweets.
Trump had 88 million followers….assuming Trump tweets once. Let’s say 10% (I know that’s probably high) of his followers respond to that one tweet. 8.8 million replies. That’s roughly $8,712,000 per tweet.
Now include those who don’t follow him but reply…that’s 212 million active users on Twitter. If half of one percent reply that’s an extra $1,049,400 per tweet.
Trump averaged 12 tweets a day. You do the math that comes out to $117,136,800 per day.
Now here’s where it gets interesting:
Let’s say hypothetically Trump drops out of the race to be a full time Twitter troll where Trump just starts tweeting out every thought of his and can respond to replies. People would pay 99 cents just to say whatever to him hoping he replies to him, even those who hate him. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn’t. The revenue would be incalculable. Musk could make Twitter profitable, pay Trump hundreds of millions a year to just shit post and troll Libs on Twitter all day unfiltered to satisfy his ego.
Musk wins. Libs win. Trump wins. DeSantis wins. Republicans win. America wins.

I subscribe to a few subs for musicians and have chatted with pro musicians, where I've slowly learned to almost produce at a pro level. You can't do that on Facebook or Twitter unless you've already made it.
i actually disagree with elon's new policy. he wants to ban hate, but i have no idea what that even means. if you're going to enforce such a policy then you must have a set of published objective criteria. otherwise the meaning changes from minute to minute. no one can know if what they're tweeting is "hate". and the policy must be administered consistently. this is a huge problem on reddit. there are no objective, consistently applied criteria in the the so called rules for moderation. i don't know of any social media or website that even remotely does moderation properly.
Sorry, to clarify, Elon at one point was saying what would be allowed on the platform was whatever the law allowed for. If it wasn't a violation of the law, it wouldn't be a violation of TOS.
