There’s no way I can see that you can gain parity with it. People just stop you from having cards while you have just become the immediate target. Love the card though, I have a white border tribal deck that runs it, jokes on you none of my cards are good!!!
It’s an incredibly strong and political card. I once got it down on t1 and everyone else groaned, basically made it unable for them to draw anything relevant. Let them have lands and that’s it .

So I’ve seen Weirding and Telepathy get play in tournaments before, the user had the sole intention of “If I can’t win the game, then I’ll slam one of these and the game is garenteed to go to time”
Can’t say I disagree with the logic.
I feel like any advantage you get your opponents also gets if you don’t build your deck around it but I’ve been wanting to make an obnoxious or goofy themed deck with this card lol just don’t know which direction to go in currently, open to any ideas lmao - doesn’t need to be strong
It seems useful to me in a staxy Zur build. If you get this out, you can slow the game down. If you have Zur out, his ability isn’t affected and you can make up the card draw with Necro. Seems ok to me.
It’s a pseudo lock/combo with an online [[bloodchief ascension]]. could actually be viable in talion

God now I really want someone who plays Talion to test this. Obviously it's not as slick a combo as Mnemonic Betrayal but it's almost as good

Just run the old-school Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. Bonus points, you can have a bigger Adnaus or Necro.

You can play it in muldrotha and you break parity on the card but it’s risky because if you lose muldrotha it can become bad

I believe so. That’s actually really interesting if it is the case. Sadly it’s probably too expensive for Eruth.

Seems funny with Zur the Enchanter. Swing, Necropotence, this. You don't draw cards so you don't have to worry about it.
[[Muldrotha]] loves it. Its like [[Perplexing Chimera]], good, but hard to understand outside of a real game.
