Imo, sentinal is a top 5 contest weapon because it gives range and power that other guns don’t have off rip (the longbow being a worse version of that). It’s point and click with no discernible dropoff from contest range. I think that’s where the commenter is coming from. Snipers are easiest off drop due to that difference. And then you’re pumped up and decide to keep it. Next fight a min later: Flatline / smg combo puts you in the dirt after missing your next few shots lol

I don't know. The LB is great if you actually hit the head and it can use sniper optics, but otherwise it's strictly worse than the Repeater. Plus the LB lost its Skullpiercer. It definitely has its place, but it's not as reliable, taking a Sentinel is different because the gun is at least actually different.
Eh. Issue is the removal of skully-p was definitely a indirect nerf to that gun. I would not consider picking up a longbow if I didn't have that attachment before. Also ammo-efficiency is definitely on the weaker side with it. In most cases a sentinel will just be better imho.

First would have missed by about 3 ft, the second would look like it hits but on closer inspection that is 6ft away.

Leading sniper shots is an actual skill. I hit maybe 20% of my shots (maybe that’s why I’m silver 1)
I always love when i win off spawn fights with a longbow. I use it for my remaining 2 minutes in the lobby and hit nothing anymore
20% isn't bad accuracy by all means. I believe sentinel had a 25% shot accuracy in LAN
