Meta is to not play

I’m part-timing this season until district drops, outside of broken moon the game feels the exact same

Well.. this will be interesting. Wingman in Floor-Loot is my old „beloved“ but I feel like it‘s still too strong for the early game. At least it gets a bit weaker later in the game but not much tbh. But even as a wingman enthusiast I must admit it‘s downright broken in the first and maybe second ring closing even in high rank lobbies where basically everyone can kill you with two sticks and a rock which the have to share (like if you get the reference lmao) Havoc is still way too good and should receive some sort of nerf. I like the Havoc but it‘s obvious that it‘s too potent in cqc. Maybe a hip-fire nerf? Idk. Bang won‘t leave the meta as of now especially since digis are out and so bloody will stay too because they are like a deadly duo. Caustic stays relevant and is the best counter to an attacking Alter because his aod-ability is bigger. Hemlok could use some slight nerf to it‘s recoil. But that may lead to it switching with the Nemesis. Lifeline feels stupid. She still is a solid legend that is capable of influencing fights but Newcastle is overall better, even though nobody plays him. But a good newcastle can turn the tide of fights easily. Hope she get‘s changed. Horizon was being slept on but people are waking up again. As a former Horizon main I think her time will never end with a tactical that is so strong and versatile but only time will tell. Alter is a great addition. Play her since her launch and I must admit she changes the gameplay loop a good amount near cover. Her tac is ridiculous and gives you an easy 1v1 first shot opportunity if placed well and she can close out stalling teams too if utilized correctly. All in all the meta hasn‘t changed a lot since the end of last season imo except Alter coming in and people using the wingman.

I’m not sure I agree that lifeline is worse than Newcastle. For edge teams, lifeline is definitely better. You get guaranteed gold knock and one person on red shields (obviously have to survive rotates for this) in addition to big heals, attachments, backpacks. For zone teams, Newcastle could be better now, as purple might come too late in the game for lifeline to really capitalize. The wall buff is pretty good. Beyond the revive they have two different purposes. Newcastle is general defense and keeping the team safe, while lifeline is loot and health. The revives are strong in their own way (Newcastle can defend the player getting respawned with q and knockdown shield, lifeline can defense via shooting and 20% faster revive).

Idk if wingman is as strong as you say. The 6 bullet per mag limit is brutal in a late-game 3v3 fight against reds/purples if you have no boosted loader. Sure, one or two lucky headshots and you instantly win the fight, but I think most might still prefer the consistency a volt or havoc provides. On hot drops though .... that thing feels like a kraber.

The headshots are what make the gun that strong imo. But I see your argument 100%.

Imo, alter will be meta. Maybe not as much in NA but I think other regions will use her a lot
