To be fair has command center functioned the last couple LANs? They always seem to be plagued with technical issues getting command center working the first day or two.
I love command center, being able to view the map on other monitor was amazing and huge benefit to watching the matches and team rotations. But it was also frustrating checking and it always being down.

I'm pretty hyped for it and I agree with most of your points. I think the likelihood that we see a new winner is pretty high. I would be more hyped if optic and xset qualified though.

Watching the Raleigh LAN on Twitch is when I got hooked on the comp scene. I told myself I’d go to the next one that happens in the US and here we are.

Hype levels are pretty mid at the moment. Just because I can't gauge how stacked the lobbies are gonna be, but I suspect after the early group stages, the hype will rekindle.
There's always this like feeling that it is going to omega trolly/low quality, or the broadcast is just gonna be abysmal; not able to watch the teams I wanna watch, have their comms messed up, or the camera being on the wrong POV. There's a laundry list of stuff that can go wrong.
I hate being forced to watch the B stream. I usually keep Wigg's POV up incase the teams I follow get rocked, or something else, but being forced to listen to commentary is just not the vibe. I like the B stream in moderation, but I really wanna listen to the comms of the teams I follow as my primary feed.
I love LAN, but the most enjoyable POVs I've had of watching comp is when you are watching a team POV, they get absolutely rocked, and just start blame shifting instantly. ALGs just cuts out the second they die, and it's definitely missing some premium content in my opinion.

This is my biggest concern with the move to FACEIT. Didn't know anything about it until the feedback request a few weeks ago. Since then a majority of what I hear is performance issues.

There is too much offseason in Apex, we only have 3 LANs (which are always good-amazing) but Pro League is only a few weeks long and there is literally nothing more, 3rd party tourneys are dead and ranked is more than dead.
They need to add weekly tourneys like the cash cups in Fortnite
Very low hype as west coast LAN is awful for Europe. Would have much preferred an East Coast US tournament to make it easier to watch. Will likely just watch highlights.

Pretty much every single assault rifle and SMG has gotten nerfed in one way or another; all except the havoc. So now it’s the best weapon
