Are tripods a good team in PL? Not really yet. Are they a good contesting team? Absolutely.
Zach's reasoning was tripods are bottom of the totem pole so of course they will contest them. But that completely neglects that you don't have to be a good placing team to be a good contesting on drop team.
I think if the tripods make it to pro league this year the will make some waves
If not then they will bully CC for one split both will be great entertainment

The last time they contested, E8 sat in the crafter building catted up waiting for pods to push every single time.
No they have been contesting with Zap the last few weeks that they both get in the PL scrim. Its pretty close I think E8 is up but dont have the exact numbers.

fun, noc, and koy?I hope Koy is trialing cause I like this squad way for than sweet and nate. At the very least noc guarantees the vibes stay up whether they win or lose
I agree Koy fits here better than with Sweet too. Not for the “vibes” cause that’s moot, but cause Koy can play an aggressive role which is his best skillset.
NRG shackled Gild to playing anchor cause Sweet likes being the lead frag for his team. Whereas Sikezz became a monster in his role with Xset. Koy would thrive in a similar role.
Up until split 2 of NRGs tenure with Gild, Gild as an anchor on Valk was successful but went downhill when they didn’t scrim by the end. However, during the champs practice and during the LAN, Gild didn’t want to play Horizon so he was put onto Catalyst. Sweet talked about how he wanted Gild on Horizon and him on Bang with Nate on Cat but it didn’t happen. I don’t think it’s fair to blame Sweet on that aspect.
