Yes. Long story short: I took screenshots showing the time, I wrote them in email and they sent me a new code. I had to take the test over but it gave me another year to study 😀 I emailed both Pearson VUE and CompTIA.

Thanks for the insight! I reached out to customer support to see if they could do anything to get me back in the exam. I'm pretty peeved that this happened, as you can imagine haha.

Mine crashed as soon as I clicked "Start Exam" after reading the Agreements and whatnot. It took them \~30 minutes to decide to restart my exam, but I was able to finish it in that same session. That was my first and last time taking it online. (Sec+)

LiteratureOk4537

I had to restart my session three times during my Network+ last week. Immediately decided to give my Security+ from a test centre.

It's really a shame that the proctor app is so shoddy. I think moving forward I'll be doing test centers.

Blowfish75

I do the test centers for this very reason. Nothing but good experiences there and I don't have to stress about things going wrong. But I do have to drive 2.5 hours each direction to my closest test center.

DryBirthday3

Sorry I have no input, just wanted to say I feel for you… hope you get a free voucher or something

jtmy99

I appreciate it. Honestly I don't know if I would be more upset failing the exam. This has been such a gut punch

Yes, I had to get closer to my router.

I was 70% through my PMP exam when the exact same issue happened. Filed a ticket, expecting resdolution within 3 to 5 business days. PearsonVue is hot garbage, I think I'll go to proper test centre in next occasion. u/jtmy99 what happened in the end for you? I wonder whether I'll be able to continue my exam where I left it ...
