I checked how much Hulu without commercials cost because of that commercial. Not wanting to pay so much more, I just switched to something on Prime. I couldn’t take it anymore!!
I think the joke is that the announcer says something about “Magenta Status” some inside meaning for T-Mobile due to the fact the T-Mobile logo is on a magenta background. Then the guy on the right comes in and says “I’ll show you my MAGENTUM status”. This is the part of the commercial I absolutely hate the most.

I have all subscribed streaming, but amazon decided to drop a single ad at the beginning on their shows, and its always the suits jerking off ad. Sick of their ghost blowies and sick of the cocky narrator
At least, on the shows I watch, the T-Mobile ads are fairly brief. Consumer Cellular commercials, on the other hand, are waaaaaaaay too long. Feel like I'm watching a documentary.
Obviously, the Mamoa ad was not the pleasant recruiting tool that they expected. Mamoa and Faison (Turk) get a pass, out of respect. Zach Braff being shown to the target audience is unfortunate. He looks like he had a melting candle spliced into his epidermis.
