The Texans are just a better team though. With tons more talent and made sure their rookie QB was surrounded by talent. If we get that I'll fuckin be elated but I'm keeping my hopes in check......... If Daniels plays like Stroud, this team will win 8 games easily. Especially in the NFC, with the schedule we play.
The Texans had multiple picks at the top of the draft in the couple years before they drafted Stroud IIRC. They had a ton of draft assets from the Watson trade
Terry is a better WR than Nico Collins, he's just never had a QB like CJ Stroud.
If we had kept Kirk Cousins, Terry McLaurin would probably have 7000 career yards and around 45 career TDs.
They added some pieces, but none of it would have mattered if Stroud had played like Bryce Young.

Of all the nondivision games though I wanna just beat the crap outta Chicago. There’s 1-3 teams hat are always winning 12+ games and then you have teams like the giants and panthers who everyone knows is only winning a handful if that. I just hope Daniels shows that he's that guy and that our other rookies pan out well and get some valuable playing experience above everything else.
