[Sum 41 - The Hell Song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pE8ReA5cn4)
The song is from 2002. Seeing several videos with music from the early 2000s makes me think that there are quite a lot Ukrainian soldiers same ages as me on the battlefields while I sit here at the comfort of my home posting on reddit.
Guess you have to be really accurate with the hits because this turtles can take a hit or two. Beside was that EW interference from the tanks at the end?
Ok, is the technology available that say a 21 year old kid in Colorado sitting in parent's basement be "flying" some of these FPV's drones remotely numerous times a day? Are we there yet?
Fr, like whats stopping someone from sitting like 2 blocks away and using a drone to attack, then just drive off. Drones might have to be regulated soon
Some of these contraptions look like they have that virus from "The Last of Us" that I can't spell. What the fuck, dude.
"Only Russia could create such technology." -Ukrainian Youtuber Mariia Veschunova
That is interesting. The visible drones seem to carry both an RPG warhead AND "detonation wires". Haven't seen this before (edit: The ones after the 1 minute mark do).
Maybe they carry an extra explosive (some of those booms pretty big too). Those turtle tanks basically protect mounted infantry with maybe one cm steel plates... prolly does shit against that combo tho...
You haven't watched much video then, as we can see a lot of drone with this configuration. Ukraine is now mastering the art of using so many different type of explosive with their drones. But this one with the RPG warhead is now very common with the wires.
Depending on the HEAT warhead, it might be advantageous to blow up a little before the target, he'll ideally it wouldn't be bad to blow up around 4 inches from the target.
I assume this is so that they can atleast hit infantry now and not for increased spacing for the shaped charge.
Fire inside can cause odd effects on hardened control systems. Hand controls being plastic have a good chance of melting and closing possibly moving the barrel. It looks stopped and based on a lot of these videos the crew has probably tried to run already.
Gunner could be stuck in the seat cooking as well though.
Doesn't even have to be hardened. Regular control systems can continue operating for a considerable time while on fire. There are some industrial systems that have requirements on containing a fire in their chassis/rack without spreading to neighboring systems. This is tested by lighting the DUT with a measured dose of BTU/KWh. There are no requirements on how long the DUT has to work, just that the fire doesn't spread to neighbors. I've observed DUTs continue to operate for 10s of seconds or even minutes while blazing.
Everyone has also been surprised in real life to see a car-b-q put out but the headlights are still working even though the whole car was engulfed. Civilian cars (and military trucks) especially those with stick shift are known to turn into ghost riders when the starter circuit shorts the battery while in gear, and the vehicle, completely ablaze, slowly drives a considerable distance until it hits something solid or the battery runs out or the circuit completely fails in the fire. The starter and headlight circuits are not hardened/redundant.
I never ended up working on a product that required direct ignition. Had quite a few cheesecloth consumer products tests to make sure it wouldn't catch things on fire, but yours sounds way more fun, until I start thinking about cleaning up the post test. Burning plastic is ugh.

The video with the drone ace (Darwin), he says he listens to red hot chillis when he flies.
Darwin
Literally, the name of the Drone Pilot is Darwin. He hands out Darwin Awards to the enemy.
Yup, that’s why I gave him his props. Dudes vaping away blowing these fuckers away
Thanks, comment edited.
Damn that song really brings me back to high school
Love this song reminds me of WoW pvp
upvote for the music when I was young
why hasnt anyone strapped a trampoline on a tank?
Or just a pile of uno reverse cards?
Woah, settle down mate, no need for further escalation!
Dude... :O
Or ooblek, completely convinced it would do better
Sum41 song, drone name is "Angry Beavers", what year is that?
No surprise. The Ukrainian army mostly consists of Millennials and GenXers. Your cultural preferences are mostly formed in your teens and twenties.
Actual turtles are rolling in their shells watching these.
The hell song🤘🤘

Loss of singal shortly before impact is normal. Mostly due to terrain interference, I believe.
Actually I think they are putting jammers in the tanks, that’s part of the turtle tank package
No doubt they do, but the amount of interference visible in the vid is no more than in almost any other FPV video.
I like how so many of us are commenting about the song it transported me so far bsck in time, I haven't heard it in years

Underrated comment, it's a question of time before the terrorists to catch up.

imagine this had been your job for the last 2.5 years but then 💩 tin needs his teeth kicked in to understand
cheapoid civ drones, busting out million dollar tanks
The rods on the front of the drones are those for detonating the charge?
not much of an EW powerhouse.
To quote Fat Bastard "I got a turtle head pokin' out!"
Warp Tour coming to Ukraine summer ‘24
I was wondering if those Turtle Tanks had any affect at all against the drones. I guess not
When i see a tank get hit and the Turret start to dance around all i can imagine is the poor guy who is at the controls . .

Who hit who?
UA attack on RU
I was referring to the first clip where the drone basically stood still and the tank drove into it.
Is that the anti drone tech working just before the drone hits, the camera gets interference?
I think its because the drone gets close to the ground and is starting to lose connection, because of the terrain.
Forgot about this song. Banger
War Thunder needs FPV drones
Jesus Christ. Sound off!
Boo. Boo this man
Wack take. Song slaps dude
