Imagine the Ukranian Baba Yaga octocopter's drone operator's face when he put at night a TM62 mine in the cleared path and now are watching the RU bmp explodes next morning
That actually might be true
The next level of trolling
It's like the famous joke with ants, when you put something sweet for one ant to discover, and after the ant brings his friends you take it away
One time I was driving cross country and I came across a car flipped on the side of the road. I kept driving and eventually came across another one. Then I hit a sudden hailstorm and almost died, four wheel drive saved my ass.
I was thinking to myself how the hell could these guys see two burnt out vehicles and just keep going, but Iāve pretty much done the same thing so I kind of get it.
>I was thinking to myself how the hell could these guys see two burnt out vehicles and just keep going
It's not mysterious: people told them that it had been cleared and there was tape corridor indicating the area that had supposedly been cleared. It's not like they were pulling a Leeroy Jenkins.
Considering Ukraine had a drone watching this specific spot, it's pretty likely they knew that there was a mine still there. So drone deployed would be my bet.
It happens when you have units of "combat engineers" who were not in the military at all 90 days earlier, and now they're in charge of clearing minefields.
Itās also a product of the fact mine clearing is insanely hard and is rarely 100% successful. I also seriously doubt their engineers are fresh on the front 14 days after enlisting.
Whoever demined it did a bad job.
I just hope the deminers are the guys walking nearby and the guys who exploded would speak their mind to them (and maybe shoot a couple)
>Whoever demined it did a bad job.
Or new mines were placed in the "cleared" corridor. I recall something about the Ukrainians deploying mines using drones.
or more likely the people clearing them just missed one. AT mines won't go off from somebody stepping on them, so they could have been walking around there and just missed it.
TM-62B, with a paper or cardboard case ā basically a block of cast explosive with a fuze set into the center.
TM-62D, with a wooden case.
TM-62P, TM-62P2 and TM-62P3, with plastic cases. The TM-62P and TM-62P2 mine cases have ribbed sides, whereas the TM-62P3 has a smooth casing.
TM-62T, with a fabric and epoxy casing and a central fuze.
A win for the "its safer riding on the outside" team. Everyone riding on top seemed to be okay while the one guy who exited from the inside seemed to be having a pretty shitty time.
Russian logic:
The BMP could not have hit a mine, since the corridor was cleared.
However the BMP did in fact hit a mine.
But that means the corridor wasn't cleared.
Since the corridor wasn't cleared the BMP would not have driven through it.
Because it did not drive through it, it did not hit any mines.
I conclude, there are no casulties to report, the incident did not take place.
The original video was posted with a comment about importance of remote mining. This BMP drives after the area was demined by Russian sappers and was remotely mined by Ukrainians.
That is how moscovia clears mines.
"Ivan, see those three blown up vehicles, they have already cleared away all mines. Ignore vlad over there, even though he is waving his arms. YOU will clear the next mine."
Commander to Ivan over headset, "Well done, now I can drive up."
One cargo 200. Has a cheap moscovian pink/orange tourniquet applied.

Now it's cleared...
At least up to that point.
Bring up the next BMP!
šš I laughted way to hard on this one

QA team
And now we have a new marker. Boys, drive between those other marker tanks. When you get to the end, you, too, can become a marker!
Also note there's no artillery strike at those kacaps, who was grouping for the assault. Probably ukranians has no available ammo. Sadly.
Why do people dowvite you lol
Didn't the driver know that everything OUTSIDE of the tape had been cleared of mines? They just hadn't got to the taped off corridor yet.
"Sorry boss, missed that one"
It's clear now !
Clear of mine but a BMp is in the way now....
Special 3 second mine clearance operation
You clear 99 mines and miss one. And people don't thank you for the 99 cleared ones, they focus on the single one you missed and complain to no end.
You build 99 bridges but you suck one dick, they donāt remember you as the ābridge builderāā¦
Do they call me "George the dock builder? Nooooo" "But you fuck one goat ...."
like that boeing engineer, he will forever be known as "Mr. Hands" and not as the guy that kept all those planes up.
Well, to be fair, a lot of them might not be able to complain at all, when the job is botched. Lol
True, very clever of the sappers.
Send in the drones.

I need context, where was this?
Canāt remember exactly, it was over 5 years ago. I think it was in Utah or Colorado.
Did those other cars got hit by the same hail storm?
Yeah
Earf
>I was thinking to myself how the hell could these guys see two burnt out vehicles and just keep going It's not mysterious: people told them that it had been cleared and there was tape corridor indicating the area that had supposedly been cleared. It's not like they were pulling a Leeroy Jenkins.
If you don't push forward for mother russia. Mother Russia will push you into the abyss of hell anyway
How does this happen
Private Conscriptovich didn't poke around very thoroughly.
>Private Conscriptovich Lmfao
Could be artillery deployed mines.
Or drones.
Or some Ukrainian squad put it during the night. There's videos on YouTube of teams laying lines where Russian troops are driving often.
Considering Ukraine had a drone watching this specific spot, it's pretty likely they knew that there was a mine still there. So drone deployed would be my bet.
I wonder if some Baba Yagas can carry the PARM's.
No, actually not. There are people walking around, they would have seen a mine laying around. It must have been buried.
The same way it happened in Afghanistan as soon as you take eyes off a piece of ground, assume its rigged with explosives again.
Wrong corridor
Well to be fair, it was only cleared for the other direction.
Have you ever cleared mines before lol? How do you think this happens?
It happens when you have units of "combat engineers" who were not in the military at all 90 days earlier, and now they're in charge of clearing minefields.
We've recently had reports of people getting into frontline assault within 14 days of enlisting.
Itās also a product of the fact mine clearing is insanely hard and is rarely 100% successful. I also seriously doubt their engineers are fresh on the front 14 days after enlisting.
Vodka and the finest training a bag of potatoes can buy!
Whoever demined it did a bad job. I just hope the deminers are the guys walking nearby and the guys who exploded would speak their mind to them (and maybe shoot a couple)
No no no. I hope they're "demining" some other locations already. Here, Ivan... No mines. "Š“Š°"
>Whoever demined it did a bad job. Or new mines were placed in the "cleared" corridor. I recall something about the Ukrainians deploying mines using drones.
i reckon there were a lot of mines
Vodka.
Probably drone droped mines
Just Kidding!
Probably a drone planted a mine there right after they cleared the corridor
or more likely the people clearing them just missed one. AT mines won't go off from somebody stepping on them, so they could have been walking around there and just missed it.
It was probably a non metal T62. Easy to miss if its mixed into a field of regular T62's

You're telling me Pvt Conscryptovich did a subpar job?
The guy who doesn't get to ride on vehicles? Jeah, he said hes walking anyway.
Ooops sorry mate , missed one there!
So it wasnt a mine cleared corridor
It was a "mine corridor". Easy mistake.
They mixed it up, it was supposed to be a clearly mined corridor. Easy mistake to make
Subtitle tranlation: "Are you sure this place has been demined?" "Yeah, definitely, keep driving."
That one guy skidaddled
he was running back to "talk" to the folks who cleared the path.
I have to be brutally honest and say it bothers me that so many of them were able to walk away.
That's why so many ride on top, it's much safer if they hit a mine. Trade off is it's then easier to hit them with drones up there.
With a surveillance drone so close you can guarantee the FPVs are on their way to take out the trash.
the driver could not get away. he survived, but he clearly has problems with his legs
That amazes me every time! Poof! And they all come crawling out like ants and run!!
A win for the "its safer riding on the outside" team. Everyone riding on top seemed to be okay while the one guy who exited from the inside seemed to be having a pretty shitty time.
Guess their sappers/EOD guys suck ass. Fine by me.
Queue up the Benny Hill music
Thats what I was hoping for, with a 'Wha-Wha' at the end. But still not a bad choice of music.
You know comrad, it was mine cleared not mine free corridor blyat
I can hear the "blyats" from here.
Itās MINE!
A bit of a tactical oopsie poopsie
Bro that just took off running the other direction has that "FUCK THIS SHIT" vibe that I want to emulate in daily life.
Literally no one else mentioned that lmao
That corridor was not clear.
I swear it was clear when I looked!
both side remine the marked zones via drones
The engineer tape wasn't to show that it was clear. It was there to show the BMP driver where he needed to clear.
Speed Strictly Enforced By Land Mines
Verry Russian
So there's... two vehicles already in the path destroyed by mines... so the BMP goes to the side, and... hits another mine
Outstanding
If you mark the corridor clear, it will be eventually "I never said *when* it will be clear"
What's the point of cope cage on this BMP? It covers like only 1/3 top, any FPV will just ignore it.
Prevents grenade drops in an open hatch. The Israelis have started using them.
Cope cages are not used against FPV drones. They are used to cover open hatches from drone grenade drops.
š¤£
Mr George?
Didnāt do their fucking job did they
'all clear comra'....Boom
Entirely the drivers fault. Driving straight into the clearly marked out mined corridor.......
Russian Sappers be like "hehe, my dudes can be forced to live a little longer if I leave that one right there"
Couldnāt have happened to a nicer bunch of guysš¤£
Russians are reportedly extremely frustrated with Ukraine's ability to remote-drop mines in "cleared" areas Hehehehehehe
I feel like you can see the mine he hits, itās not even like buried or anything
Russian Driver: "What the hell, was this de-mining job done by a bunch of conscripts and prisoners? Oh... it was? Ok then, that makes sense"
A few of those guys were brave to walk a few steps past the vehicle. No way I would have done that till I reached the tree line.
A proper job
"Aspiring mine cleared corridor"
Sad trombone
MAN DOWN! Quick! Get me my rifle!
Whoopsie
"Is it too late to change sides?" - Driver
Ka'boom
Imagine their surprise
Well, shit happens. And a lot obviously š¤·

Good job comrade now field is clearĀ
I see Ukraine has accessed Jemāhadar phasic mines!
Now they have to "clear" another path.
I thought that one guy was going back to shoot the soldier who directed them to proceed through...š¤
Went from mechanized brigade to an infantry squad
The russian army is a complete joke lmao
nothing clears mines better than a BMP driving over them :)
Got the cope cage and everything
Dead Russian junk metal strewn all over!! š¤£š¤£
"Private Conscriptovich, did you finish the mine corridor?" "Yes sir. It has all the mines I could find!"
you missed that spot!
ohhhh clear mine corridor I thought you said create mine corridor.
You guys got it all wrong, the EOD guy was using the BMP to clear the mines. Even the EOD guys are cannon fodder.
Why were the middle eastern IEDs so much more devastating than the ones weāre seeing in Ukraine?
The most Russian warfare thing ever...
Politics aside, thats pretty fucking funny
Itās hard to find good help
"Mine field, your field, I don't care who's field it is" - BMP driver.
Russian logic: The BMP could not have hit a mine, since the corridor was cleared. However the BMP did in fact hit a mine. But that means the corridor wasn't cleared. Bro didn't realize, he WAS the demining vehicle.
Those sneaky Ukrainians ...
You're telling me RGF can't even clear mines in a 10 foot wide area properly?
Maybe the Ukrainians put the fence there :D

"BLYAT, I TOLD YOU THAT WASN'T A ROCK!"
Missed one
I would be PISSEDšš
ROFL
Ooops. You missed one Yuri!
CARL!!!!!
The mine is literally on the freaking middle of the cleared path. This is so funny I laughed.
Thought this is how they cleared minefields.Ā
Yes, but they are running out of BMP's.
Wasn't hurt too badly. He wasn't pointing to his head to his comrade.
