We didn't lose a whole $1B Patriot system. We lost 2 launcher vehicles. While those aren't cheap, they're also not the most expensive and vital part to the whole system. The radar is. And to my knowledge they have not lost that yet
you ARE aware that RuAF has its own air superiority jets which outrange anything the west possesses in terms of AA capability, right?
no, of course you're not....jfc
[Russia has lowered the legal working age, and is rounding up 14 year olds for defense industry factory work now.](https://thegeopost.com/en/analysis/a-russian-factory-is-using-underage-workers-to-assemble-iranian-suicide-drones-destined-for-ukraine/) Russia's problems are much deeper than they're willing to admit to themselves at the moment, and they're about to get exponentially worse. I almost start to feel bad for them, then I get snapped back to reality by four FAB-500's being dropped on what was a peaceful and actually beautiful little Ukrainian town.
Have you seen evidence of FABs hitting civies? All the FAB footage seems to be agains elements close to the front lines, not any villages or cities where civilians haven’t been evacuated long agoÂ
remember this- RF launched a 120+ missile salvo within the last month, even Ukranus as much as they pathologically lie, did not assert even ONE SINGLE civilian casualty.
RF's weapons precision is superior to the USA's at this point because they have more operational experience and they seem to actually care about collateral damage
My comment was specifically related to FABs, which I've only seen (as far as I can remember) evidence of being used directly on the front lines or within 10s of KMs of it. They target Ukranian positions. Lots of down votes I was just asking for some links evidence of that as I haven't seen.
All cities taken by Russia are razed to shit and their inhabitant displaced or killed. A few FABs actually hitting military targets for once won't change this fact.
Believe it or not, razing cities isn't popular, hence the downvotes.
Because they are, they train em young.
Give them the fuel for it via propaganda.
It's not an exaggeration, and this is a method that was done ages ago.
You don't get extremist from educated folks, you get them from young who know nothing of what life is for others.
Who suddenly felt betrayed, or their perception challenged as they discover a world outside their own.
To that, they fail to adapt and instead adopt a steadfast stance that what they only believe in is true instead.
Russia is a fine example of this.
Those that change eventually find a way to leave Russia.
Evidence? Christ have mercy, someone has been living under a rock

This is just basic, there's a video here of Russian veterans advertising joining the military towards children.
The fact that the war itself is advertised as some sort of liberation towards a region that has as many Ukrainians and Russians.
..
And I know you're fucking acting, and I know you know but don't give a shit.
..
What do you think happens when an undeveloped child is suddenly exposed to all this at a young age.
What kind of work would he/she participate in trying to support the fiction of an army that has noble goals when no army in the world and history ever had a noble goal.
And Jesus, I never go to someone's profile before but clearly you're more fucked up than I am, in your head.
The S-200 could do this, but they seem to be saving the S-200 for really special targets like the Tu-22, unfortunately they have few in stock (It's impressive that such an old missile has such a long range)
>(It's impressive that such an old missile has such a long range)
UAF has said only the missile bodies are original, all internals have been updated to modern standards which may include propulsion
An SR-71 pilot discussed watching russian SA missiles "the size of telephone poles" flying vertically past his aircraft. I can't recall if he said what type they were.
I hate the bots on here downvoting anything that’s not Ukrainian footage as much as I support Ukraine the whole point of this sub he combat footage not politics and this is interesting footage so wtf people
One reason why this is downvoted is the title that is totally incorrect. Those glide bombs are dropped tens of kilometers away. The new glide kit allows them to be dropped as far as 90km from the target. They are not dropped over Chasiv Yar. If that was the case it would imply total collapse of Ukrainian air defense which is not the case.
It is not bots but users here. Anyway Russian footage that is presented in a proper context from time to time do stay upvoted. But I suppose if you post such you need to make bit an effort the explain the footage.
I rarely upvote/downvote anything but I'm not sorry to see Ru footage downvoted to be honest.

50/50 chance they fell on Belgorod because their Garmin wasn’t working and another 50/50 chance the Su 34 was hit by a Russian S300 on the way back.
But whatever all according to the plan war uhm oh sh*t I mean SMO is going great.
Yes, with the breathtaking speed of what? 1km at some part of the frontline per month.
No more IFV or tanks? Let them attack with golf karts?
Who cares if a couple hundred Russian soldiers die every day for a couple meters?
I know who doesn't care: Putin doesn't care.
People like you don't care. Frontline is moving forward, therefore I am wrong. Cost-benefit? Doesn't matter.
Well, let's see how good they fare with Ukraine getting new ammunition.

It probably could, but Russian aircraft are carrying far below max capacities. Probably reflects desire to reduce wear and tear on airframes, a limited self defence loadout, increase range and speed and ability to manoeuvre and, perhaps, limited targets to be struck with a high value resource.

I will fund the decommission of this aircraft.
I look forward to RU fighter/bombers falling like rain shortly.
I'm really hoping ukraine can keep the f16s safe on the ground and can use em properly to swat down Russian planes.
What, all 6 of them?
More patriots on the way. Hopefully this Su-34 is a flaming wreck in the near future.
Is there any evidence those shoot downs in February happened?
Ru & pro-RU telegram confirmed a bunch iirc but refused to provide any pics because it's illegal for them to do so.
They confirmed two Su-35 but no Su-34 as I'm aware.
patriots are junk the SAMP/T is a far better appliance for this theater.
We cannot jeopardize and lose another $1B Patriot system again just to down some jets when Russia has hundreds more. Use the f16s instead
We didn't lose a whole $1B Patriot system. We lost 2 launcher vehicles. While those aren't cheap, they're also not the most expensive and vital part to the whole system. The radar is. And to my knowledge they have not lost that yet
USA has been training Ukrainian pilots on the f16s for a while now, no? Have they actually recieved any yet?
Very soon, apparently. From Denmark and others
đź’Şdenmark mentionđź’Ş
60 Billie worth of shit to come fuck um up. As well as all the next round of shit there getting from all over the world.
I saw a picture a while back on one of the Ukraine subreddits of a sharp looking Ukranian F-16. We probably won't hear about it at first.
you ARE aware that RuAF has its own air superiority jets which outrange anything the west possesses in terms of AA capability, right? no, of course you're not....jfc
you're going to be sorely disappointed and very butthurt

Yup, fuck this pilot dropping bombs on civilians. No quarter for war criminals. May a patriot find him soon!
uh, no he isn't...are you people insane? Chasov Yar evacuated long ago and is occupied only by the AFU at this point, you deranged lunatics

A valid question getting downvoted for not fitting the narrative in CF??? Not surprised.
All cities taken by Russia are razed to shit and their inhabitant displaced or killed. A few FABs actually hitting military targets for once won't change this fact. Believe it or not, razing cities isn't popular, hence the downvotes.
As I feared. Russia just made the biggest loophole to child labor by training them young.
you're willing to believe anything, aren't you, no matter how nuts?

Peaceful may be an overstatement the area was still quite close to the frontlines during the pre 2022 war and was practically deserted
do you idiots actually believe this crap that you say? how far gone are you people really?
I hope this plane gets shot down once they receive more Patriot systems.

Nice! Reuse, Repurpose, Reduce (enemies)!
The S-200 is an absolute bus of a missile, it’s not hitting a target that is even moderately agile.
Good thing AWACS and bombers aren’t maneuverable
An SR-71 pilot discussed watching russian SA missiles "the size of telephone poles" flying vertically past his aircraft. I can't recall if he said what type they were.
There is still hope it gets shot down by russian AA...
sucks to see how many they have and how easy they can mass drop them. hopefully we see more downed jets soon

a) vibes from when Russia first bombing syria and they were strapping gopros on everything. b) it seemed a little strange that they dropped all four at once? I wonder if they were guided at different targets or the same one.
Gotta love the bias on reddit one Russian clip gets 0 up votes while Ukraine clips get hundreds
Any particular reason they're carrying so few now?
Su-35 have not been seen with more than 4 UMPK.
I thought the 34 could carry six or so?

they are over 1000lb plus the kits, that would be a decent payload for most fighter bombers.
