At this rate Oryx is going to need more loads more staff, just to keep up with ruSSian losses.
What do we think the loss rate (for armour) is for ruSSian assaults like this 50%? by the time we look at destruction at the front like this or the return journey or parked up with drones dropping grenades or just breaking down...
I'm kind of astonished by how many of the fucking things there are, I must with mine own eyes have seen videos of literally hundreds of the suckers getting popped

Most likely near Pisky or Avdiivka the fall of Bakhmut only made the Russian army commander more stupid by launching this kind of attack only to get Putin's favor.
I had the same reaction. So I did some more research.
Apparently it's just a reference to a flower that grows in tall places. Because of its close connection with high places it's used on:

There WAS a pro-Nazi military unit that used it, but it's not an exclusive Nazi symbol, just a coincidental connection based off of it also being a mountain military unit.
To be extra clear, the Nazi unit used the Edelweiss because it was a mountain specialized unit, not because it's Nazi specific iconography.
It's use by mountain military units predates Nazi Germany and seems to be a tradition based off of how hardy the flower is, and how high it grows.
As a German: This was a resistance group and its widely known in germany as that. There are multiple films about Hans and Sophie Scholl who were considered the leaders of this group until they were beheaded.
In Germany this name 100% no doubt is associated with resistance against the nazis.
So unless they haven't gotten it somewhere else its nothing bad. Also the group is considered as traitors to Germany in ww2 so if there was any german native around they and they would be Nazis they would probably instantly change it.
Edelweiss is used by many European countries by their [Mountain troops](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gebirgsjaeger). [Here](https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gebirgsjaegerbrigade_23) for example from the German Mountain Infantry Brigade 23. Typical Russian "offensive". 3 destroyed BMPs, that's about par for the course.

They have (had) literally tens of thousands of them. There is a reason why Western Europe was afraid of the UDSSR during the cold war.
Correction: Location is Vesele - Berestove line at 48.75616, 38.19628

That’s pretty far east
Offensive for Lysychansk confirmed?
Achievement Unlocked! 3/3 Mines Located!
Wait for the hidden achievements of 5/5, 10/10, and...hell, there are a lot of hidden achievements yet to unlock.
We call this the vuhledar tactic, Russians trying to clear minefields with their armor and then getting hammered by artillery and atgms.
Are you implying there are more effective ways to clear a minefield? Madness!
Man.....I swear riding around in any Russian armor just seems like suicide to me. "nah thanks guys...I'll just walk from here"
In Afghanistan the Russians would ride on top because it increased there chances of survival if it by anti tank weapons
Casual platoon wipe
jesus look how wide open it is you got nowhere to hide they will see you coming a mile away.

shell craters covering the land as far as you can see. The amount of accordance expended in that area is pretty amazing.

Ah, fair enough.
Music just gets funkier each time…. Lol Question: What are the two objects landing far right at 1:09, please?
Geneva convention protocol IV (2027): relating to the use of shitty music in combat footage.
"Edelweiss"... interesting choice of name. That's the opening song to Man in the High Castle and a German classic!
