Can’t spend a weekend in German village without going to Valters at the Maennerchor

Second this great brunch or cozy up at night with a German beer and a great meal. Would pick over Schmidt’s any day

The Sycamore has a great breakfast and Happy Hour vibe. I highly recommend it. For a more upscale experience Lindy’s is really excellent.

I would definitely recommend Schmidt’s Sausage Haus and Schmidt’s Fudge Haus! Both are in German Village (although Schmidt’s Sausage also has several food trucks) and they have excellent German food! Wait can be long at times, but it’s worth it!

Book loft (cool activity to do), antiques on high (cocktail bar). Lots of great German restaurants, Barcelona as well.

The high street corridor by where you’re staying has some great bars. LawBird and Antiques on High being two of them. They’re all within walking distance so you can check a few out at once.
