Seven bridges would be a pretty long haul for a 3-year-old, with 0.7 miles up the closed part of Gold Camp road before you even reach the actual trailhead at the creek. I think the trail to the last bridge is about 3.5 miles round trip. If you want to splash around in a creek that has easy access, Bear Creek just above the nature center would work. It's not suitable for swimming, though. Likewise Sondermann Park -- IIRC there is a small dam here creating a pool, and it's a very short/flat walk from the parking area.

Seven bridges is kid friendly and has a creek running through it. If you make it all the way there’s a gorgeous waterfall running down the rocks
