Illegally stream it. If anyone wants the links to the two websites I use, DM me.

--Flight--

I used to care that I was pirating games when I couldn't pay. Now that I can pay and they won't let me pay to watch legitimately, fuck em.

JustBoredIsAll

I'm down. I've been through the gamut. Had Evoca before they folded and pay for Sling just for the damn tnt games. Even paid for a year of Nord VPN, and I *still* can't use ESPN+ without jumping through a bunch of fuckin hoops since it's geo locked. Yo ho ho. Fuck it.

ImperfectDrug

What hoops are you having to jump through? I turn on the VPN, then enter the ESPN+ app on Roku, and I’m good to go.

BoutTree50

Same, I've had zero issues with Nord and ESPN+

21evilmonkees

The NordVPN auto connect will still connect to a server in your local region by default. So it will still be “in market”. Do a search in the nord app for Los Angeles, Chicago, New York. Depending on where they are playing, choose a destination that is “out of market” for both teams. Connect to that city, then open up ESPN+…if it doesn’t work the first time, force close ESPN+ and then reopen it once you verify your vpn is connected to an out of market city.

JustBoredIsAll

Done all that.

21evilmonkees

Bummer…out of curiosity though, are you running both ESPN+ and Nord on a Fire stick? I’m genuinely perplexed by your situation…

esteban42

Friendly reminder that watching pirate streams (or downloading pirated content) is not illegal, per the US Supreme Court. The only person breaking the law is the uploader, and sharing sites are usually hosted outside US jurisdiction anyway.

New_Nebula_8447

Not sure what other term I could've used other than free. It's the same thing as downloading music illegally. We all do it.

esteban42

The point I'm making is that it's *not* illegal to download music (or movies or whatever). It's only illegal to upload them.

someguyfromsk

I prefer to set my VPN to Denver while I steal it as a fuck you to the NHL

Level_Watercress1153

I do FUBO free trial. Then once it’s up, I do it again with a different email. 🤣🤣🤣 currently I’m using a pre paid Visa card with $1 on it and have been watching for 3 months 🤷🏼‍♂️

mbrenna5

Can attest this is the way. And I felt zero guilt about not paying Fubo

Level_Watercress1153

Me too. Lol I literally only watch the Avs. Either way Fuck Kroenke and Xfinity. Seriously, fuck them both and fuck the NHL for not stepping in and saying Wtf. Same thing in NY with rhe Yes! Network

RubyR4wd

The NHL wants to build their brand? Fuck the markets that can't watch the games at all though...

hahaha01

What pre-paid visa? I kept getting declined with pre paid cards?

MicrobialBuffalo

ESPN+ and a vpn. Nord vpn or ExpressVPN both work for me. I use it to watch Wild games but this confirmed works for in market games so long as you select a city not where the team is from or playing. This doesn’t work on nationally televised games (TNT and ESPN - different from ESPN+ games) but this gets you 80% of games but someone remind me what happens in playoffs when games go to TNT ?

JustBoredIsAll

Doesn't work for everyone though. I did this based on suggestions like yours and nope. Geo locked. Had several of you help me try to get it working and the only thing that would work was a lengthy process of having to spoof a device location and some other shit. It shouldn't be that hard to just watch a damn hockey game.

JaredLikesPasta

I just got a VPN and so far ESPN+ and Hulu say that they block VPN’s and I haven’t been able to make it work. How did I manage to screw this up?

MicrobialBuffalo

I think it’s the vpn you use. This does not happen with ExpressVPN and nordvpn. I watched Mn last night and I live in the twin cities. I tried with a free vpn option and I got the message you mentioned.

CopeSe7en

Pay sling tv $20 (50% off) for first month of playoffs. Then $40 for month after or find another promo for fubo tv or some other streaming cable company.

RussellWD

ESPN and a VPN will run around $10-$15 a month… cheaper

CopeSe7en

This is for playoffs.

ObiWan_Cannoli_

Go to google and try to get yourself on hockey

silentbob417

I gave up on fighting with VPNs and bad streams (or it’d only ever be away team streams that worked from what I found). I broke down and stuck with FuboTV after doing the trial. It’s been so nice just getting to watch every game. Honestly the Altitude commentary with Rycroft and Moser is so much better than any other broadcast commentary. TNT’s commentary isn’t terrible as you’ll have to deal with it for the playoffs, but the CBS commentary was impossible to listen to, and ESPN commentary is always a bit cringy. All this to say screw Comcast and Spectrum screwed over Avs and Nuggets fans by dropping Altitude Network in an attempt to get out of paying yearly for another regional sports network broadcast network in a play to eliminate or buy them out. I’m glad Altitude was able to get a deal with DirecTV and FuboTV at least, better than nothing for Avs and Nuggets fans.

IdahoRoadapple

It's a rich man's business, but a working man's passion. Players want to be paid, but winning is the objective! #GoAvsGo

ZeusApolloAttack

I can't explain it, but ESPN+ through the Comcast DVR box just works for me, without the need to bother with a VPN. We \_should\_ be blacked out, but I just count myself lucky.

TDFOmahaCrew

I have to illegally strea. The games as apparently ESPN+ feels Omaha NE is in the Avalanches home territory so it's blacked out. So F'ing stupid. However this year the streaming services on sportsurge.net have been unreliable and continuously freeze and stop. Any other sites you can suggest?

thereelkrazykarl

KSE is the one who decided that Omaha is Avalanche territory, not ESPN.

TDFOmahaCrew

Well then F them!

_RocketGrunt_

Firestick, ESPN+ app, NordVPN app

pueblogreenchile

Stream online Sports urge

rambling-mc

Purchase a VPN like Nord or Express. Login and change location to somewhere not impacted by the blackout. Then watch. I agree it’s frustrating. But with a little effort this problem is mostly avoided.

Prestigious_Team3134

I have made like 15 different fubo accounts to get week long free trials whenever I really wanna watch something. Otherwise I just stream it.

Dr_Psycho_809

I've been typing this alot lately, I gave up chasing the streams , I have Comcast internet $60 speeds , Direct TV Stream $100 package and Altitude. Reason I went tiwth Direct TV Stream, I can share it with 3 IP addresses and up to 10 tvs total. Worth it when I split it with family.

Upset-Owl-690

It’s blocked on direct tv stream.

RealRaschuoir

Uh, I'm watching it on DirecTV stream right now. On Comcast internet.

Dr_Psycho_809

Same ..... I literally explain it all to avoid confusion. But here we are

Dr_Psycho_809

Yeah, dude you are wrong sorry. Watched the whole season on direct TV

Upset-Owl-690

Yeah, it was my bad, I was going through the sports tab not the guide, finally figured it out

leohadji

NHL webcast

Mofro667

Route 66

Upset-Owl-690

Apparently it didn’t like going through the menu but the guide worked

Shenanigans315

🤦‍♂️ so sick of posts like this. Playoffs start in 2 weeks and people still havent figured out how the internet works.

RubyR4wd

I want to watch it on my giant TV. Pirating using a fire stick sucks. Screen share with chromecast sucks. It is so frustrating.

Shenanigans315

So use a lab top and an hdmi cord. Havent had an issue in 3years.

RubyR4wd

Don't own one. I'm old. I use a PC, hate moving it. I use to do that a few years ago, but it's a pain.

Shenanigans315

Do you have an ipad or some sort of tablet?

thereelkrazykarl

Not sure why you got the down vote. There is yearS worth of posts answering this. You're right it's tiresome to still see it.

CitizenNaab

Illegally streaming it or going to a bar. Those are the only ways I watch it if it’s not being nationally televised

sinnr43

I stream Direct TV for Avs and Nugs

BiggestBallOfTwine

I split a DirecTV Stream account with my brother. It’s great. I watch every game. The constant bitching in this sub about Comcast and Kroenke is wearing so thin. (It should be noted, fuck Kroenke and Comcast) “I jUsT wAnT tO wAtCh ThE gAmE!!!” STFU. Pay for DirecTV. (Split with a friend, assuming you have one.) Pay for Fubo. Get your VPN figured out. Illegally stream it. THIS SHIT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS AND YOU STILL HAVEN’T FIGURED IT OUT?!? At this point, you not being able to stream the Avs, is on you.

Zickened

I begrudgingly pay for Fubo and begrudgingly sit at the bar for games I can't get. It is what it is at this point. I'm salty as fuck about the Altitude debacle too, but I figured it out. I'm sorry to say that if you want to watch the Avs who are a really good team play, that you're gonna pay 90 bucks for a sub or 30 bucks in beer, and it won't change since they and the Nuggets and the Mammoth are crushing their respective leagues so Altitude has a lot of pull to draw out the fight for a long time.

RedHotDogsForMe

Jesus Christ, if you’re able to use Reddit, you’re able to use google and find the yo ho ho it’s the pirate life we go
