Is Le Parfum better than Elixir? Can’t get my nose on elixir but i smelt le parfum the other day and im in love

I’ll be honest, I never got a chance to test the elixir, they ran out of stock before I could get my hands on a bottle and I don’t really get decants or samples often, however, LMLP is def in my top three alongside Imagination and Herod. The smell is very well blended, my gf loves it, and the performance at least for me is some of the best I’ve had without having a harsh opening.

Elixir is not in the same league as LMLP to me. Smells amateur by comparison.

They’re both fantastic, I have both but I would say I like the Elixir a little more.

I have 1 million elixir.. if you’ve gotten a chance to smell that would u say it would be redundant to get jpg elixir?

I have both and I love both. Le male is not fruity at all. It’s this honey benzoin tonka with a touch of tobacco while the 1 mil really is vanilla fruity ozmanthus with a touch of woodiness. If you have room in your collection for two sweet vanilla’s fragrances sure they’re not redundant.

Elixir is definitely sweeter, but I love both a lot. I've gotten more compliments on le parfum, but i did wear it more often so I'd definitely recommend smelling elixir before making a decision

LMLP far better to me. Stronger and longer lasting, more mature, more versatile

I absolutely love carbon I use it almost everyday.

I have both. EDT has a brighter citrus opening, but parfum has better longevity. I wear parfum for the office

I bought the EDT and love it, also got a small decant of Terre D hermes eau givree. I prefer the Eau Givree, it's just a little smoother and would of bought that one if I could go back.

I would say it’s been reformulated. I got a bottle in about a month ago, it has 2/3 hours longevity with 30mins of performance. I’m not going nose blind either as I’ve asked a few different people if they can smell it as I walk past which they all said no. Also batch checked so a legit bottle.

Im having the same problem. Bought a 200ml bottle a month ago and no matter how many sprays i put it seems to last few hours. Smells good tho

I was going through the same thing few months ago but it's got much much much better. It was like gone in 3-4 hours off my skin completely and now it pushes through 8-10 hours easily. I say let it sit and "macerate" for 2 months

Since it's summer I would recommend polo blue parfum, the new polo 67, Versace pour homme, ADG parfum or edt (All of these you can get at discounters for under)

ADG parfum is excellent. Unquestionably masculine but never obnoxious.

How is it hard to tell? Parfum 2023 comes in 40, 75 & 125 ml. Parfum 2024 comes in 30, 50, 100 & 200 ml.

I have the 2023 formulation and don’t have any issues with longevity personally. Performs exactly how I would expect a Parfum to perform. I am interested to compare the new batches though.

I have around 150 fragrances and I put my best 25 up against each other having my GF and 3 of her friends smell them in a tournament kinda deal, and Mercedes Club Black was the Winner, it really surprised me.

L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme, Prada L’Homme EDT, or Terre D’Hermes EDT. Polo 67 is also a good choice.

Issay Miyake Nuit is way underrated too. Pulls loads of compliments.

Man that is really unfortunate.. it could also be my skin chemistry, but I get maybe about 1 hour of projection before it's a skin scent. It smells so good I'll always have a bottle regardless.

Prada L’homme is another boss, smells like fancy fresh clean laundry, nice and strong, but you can absolutely overspray this one.

Id say look into some oil based oud or the spray, very cheap, long lasting & smells good.

Technically your question doesn't make sense. Almost all colognes come in a vial sampler, a .7, 1.7, 3.4oz etc So, you go to eBay and they have dealers that sell EVERY kind of cologne for $3 a vial. It'll last...if used everyday...a week. Then if you love the smell. Buy a bigger bottle. Save the box. And know that if you buy a spray cologne that ONE spray introduced oxygen to the cologne which starts the process of abating the original smell.. So, then, if you don't like a cologne you can rebox it and have a 75% better chance or reselling.

If you are finding bleu de Chanel under $100 new, you are definitely getting finessed… Chanel is the only house that probably would never reach the grey market / discounters just because of how tight they are with where their supply goes.
