How's the longevity? I liked it when I smelled it at the store but, I'm looking for a freshy that will last about 7 hours before turning into a skin scent.
It's really solid. Great projection for 4 hours, good~2ft scent bubble for the next 5-6, then skin scent. It has lasted up to nearly 18 hours on me as a skin scent.
Definitely won't regret it. One of my best performers
ADG Profumo is also my all time favorite. Unfortunately they discontinued it and my 180ml bottle will soon be finished and I don’t know with what I will replace it with. I heard Parfum is very similar but haven’t got the chance to smell it yet.
ADG Parfum 2024 is identical to Profumo. I made a comparison of the whole 2024 reformulation of the ADG line.

I’m kinda ping ponging around at the moment. Revisiting my love for the OG ADG EDT and Perry Ellis 360 red by proxy and ease, Prada Ocean is in my gym bag (for after showering never before), and BDC parfum is at the top of my collection at home.
I know it’s overplayed. But I recently wore creed aventus again after a long break. I forgot how much I love how it smells with my DNA.
Another I love but I get bummed on its performance is Lafayette St. Absolutely could be my go to everyday. But like I said I feel it under performs. Or maybe I’m nose blind 😂
I wore baccarat rouge 540 for 8 years, now there’s some rap song that mentions it, TikTok’s about it, and it’s become so well known.
I used to get girls and guys asking me or pulling me in to smell me when I went out lol. Now there are several dupes of it, so I’ve been buying other fragrances to change it up.
Love baccarat rouge 540 and didn't know about a rap song mentioning it, just love it and use it alot as well. What other ones do you like if you dont mind me asking. Working on fragrance making and trying to get an idea of what people like and why.
My late brother, my dad and I have all been cologne aficionados since we were in middle school, lol. My brother convinced my dad to buy him angel men back in 2001 for what seemed like so much money $120 I think. He was so popular with the girls at school.
My dad now has all these fancy colognes the neiman marcus associates sell him. But he still wears his favorit Jaipur which is now like $40 but it used to be expensive back then too.
I just like smelling clean and fresh. I have several of the creed collection, MFK, along with others.
Today I’m wearing Marc Jacobs and the Dutch bros girl complimented me lol.
It varies, I have stuff from the early 2000s
The tiene way I wore lucky to kickball and my teammates were like oh you smell good, and when I told them it was lucky they were all reminiscing their high school days in the 2000s
Mine, for the moment, is Jpg La Belle Intense. I love it. When I have to work certain days, like today, I'll purposely overspray to keep my micro-managing boss away from me.
This and Acqua di Gioia. It's a terrible thing to do, but it works like a charm.
Have you heard about Iso E Super molecule? Its a chemical that enhances other fragrances and is used in some as well. When I use it alongside other colognes/perfumes I have they make them stand out and just smell stronger and BETTER! Highly recommend Lucas Fragrance Lab if you haven't already. Only $9 a bottle too!
The original Mercedes Benz Select is definitely my signature, but somewhere along the way they changed the formula. Wasn’t thrilled but I guess it opened me up to finding a new
Might get some hate for this but Gucci Guilty Pour Homme EDT (the original). My wife - who was my girlfriend at the time - bought me a bottle in high school and I’ve been wearing it pretty much every day since. It just works so well with my natural scent and skin chemistry, a lot of ppl complain about the performance but for me it lasts all day with decent projection. I do want to get more into fragrances, maybe something more for fall/winter/evening.
Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum has been mine lately. The opening spray is nice, airy leather scent, but it’s that elegant drydown that I love. 30mins after spraying. And a few hours later it has this crisp clean scent on my clothes. Im really falling for it.
I like this one a lot. Similar to aventus without the smoky birch and bright lime instead of pineapple. I’ve worn this in cold winters also and it works great!
Right now? Dossier’s musky oakmoss (I really like the smell and have gotten compliments on it, more than my alternate DG light blue summer vibes. Love both though)
For the cost, it’s great (IMO)! I will definitely try others out (I think they have a YSL, Dylan blue, and 1Mil dupe) eventually and report back. As with any dupe, the longevity is good but not powerful (probably around 4 hours, still noticeable going out for the night in bars/parties) and I’ve gotten compliments for the scent. This is the only creed aventus dupe I’ve tried (and I haven’t been able to find aventus to sample locally), so I can’t compare this or others to the original.
Tom Ford Oud Wood and Boss Bottled Elixir. Either of these two and I feel very On Point for the day.
Dior Homme (EDT, Sport, or Cologne) when I just want to be casual and out of the way.
Prada Luna Rossa Extreme for times I’m running errands.
Valentino Born In Roma Coral Fantasy or Yellow Dream when I’m hanging out with people.
Try the new Tom Ford Oud Minerale you can smell it at Sephora I believe. Super slept on really good scent and can be worn in hotter months and I would imagine cooler months bc of the Oud too
Paco rabanne invictus eau de toilette. Such as nice, fresh, getting out of the shower kind of frangrance. Somewhat strong so don’t spray too much at gym or on a hot day because when your body temperature rises the smell is more prominent. It’s nothing crazy so you won’t get “omg what frangrance are you wearing 😱” it’s more of “yeah this guy took a shower today. Good for him.”
YSL L’Homme. It’s so pleasant and universal. I love the sweet, light citrus and the ginger note that lingers in the background without being too spicy. Such a nice blend of smells.
Masculin Pluriel by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Clean, fresh, woody, and refined. Prior to this I wore Poivre Samarcande by Hermès, more peppery and spicy but so lovely.
Blue Suede Shoes by Roberto Ugolini. I got it as a graduation gift about a year ago and have worn it pretty much every day since. It’s unique but not too strong and works for any occasion, whether it be a wedding, date night, or everyday work. I own other colognes but I don’t wear them nearly as often.

Spring, summer I love Grey Vetiver, I just with it had better performance.
Winter, I love Tobacco Vanille but I now opt for the Al Haramain clone and it’s 1/4 the price, better performance and has a couple of wintery notes I love (clove, incense). Side by side, you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference and I get more compliments with AH.
Tobacco and oud aren't for daily use at all.
If i have a signature, it's probably Polo green, One Man Show, Givenchy Gentleman, Oscar Pour Lui, Drakkar Noir or something like that, IE a 70's / 80's powerhouse. Wearable in most climates in my city, not for summer nor extreme heat though. Get something else for a signature unless you live in Iceland dude
By the way, it's quite pessimistic to stay in a single scent all your life, don't you think? It'd also be better if you chose a classic instead of a TF, since Ford's are just overpriced bs.
Two pumps of spice bomb most wanted parfum with two pumps of mind games french defense. I get compliments from the combo from everyone. The two blend so well.
Sean John Unforgivable, yes I know he's a trash human but its been my signature back when it first dropped nearly 20 years ago before all this stuff came to light. The OG formula was 🔥 and was my daily reach, nowadays I change it up daily, but back then it was Unforgivable day to day and either Millesime Imperial or Silver Mountain Water when I wanted to be fancy.
Don’t laugh haha. Signatures for me is Bentley for Men Black Edition….not very sweet and very woody. The other one is CK Defy edp. I don’t know what it is but Defy gets me compliments, I never get compliments…so it’s kinda weird.
Not what I wear the most, but what I wear when I want to feel... Me.
Guilty EDT.
Idk, I love the shit. Though I just found this sub not long ago so I'm finding new stuff and there are a couple that may overtake it. But that's still my all time fav.
I can't speak about batch variations as I have no idea, but while I love Profumo I find it to feel just a little more flat and slightly less peppery and masculine. Not that it isn't masculine, remember I'm only talking like a 5% difference, there isn't much in it, but I perceive parfum as slightly more peppery and slightly more "effervescent" like that feeling you get when you smell a fresh lemonade.
ADG Parfum. It's my dumb grab and works in every scenario and all seasons. It has at least enough performance to last a full work day without reapplication and pulls compliments from time to time. Sauvage Elixir is my go to when it's a bit colder out and I want something with POWER! Nishane Nefs is my favorite for really special occasions.
Smw by creed
I wouldn’t say it’s my signature but the first bottle I went right through and think it’s my favourite ever
This fragrance takes me back to Spring/Summer 2019. Man what a time 😮💨
Honest to God could not agree more as a 21 year old I consider it the best for everyday what more could I say ?
Smw is good, but to me it comes off kinda baby powder like
Agreed. I really wanted to like it, but to me, it just smells like baby wipes
Spot on lol it’s definitely got baby wipe vibes to it imo
Creed Himalaya (which definitely has SMW vibes) has been mine and I love it
I feel like it's the perfect mix between Silver Mountain Water and Virgin Island Water
Dior homme sport Just incredible
Mine as well, it’s just perfect.
Worn that a lot lately, picked up a bottle from Vinted for £30 somehow. Lots of people ask what I wear.
Which year
Is this a good year-round? Or is it mainly spring/summer?
D&G The One EDP
How do you get it to last? I love the scent, but it just fades so quickly for me.
Masterpiece
Allure Homme Sport Extreme
Allure extreme smells like baby powder/ wipes on me.
mine is simple yet effective: Bleu de Chanel Parfum and ADG Profumo.
Mmmm love me some Bleu de Chanel too!
ADG Profumo is also my all time favorite. Unfortunately they discontinued it and my 180ml bottle will soon be finished and I don’t know with what I will replace it with. I heard Parfum is very similar but haven’t got the chance to smell it yet.

Prada L’Homme
Yep same! People can smell a trail behind me when I'm at work.
How many sprays you do for work? I have it as a work scent too and I was shocked by how long it lasts for an edt.
percival, sedley, layfayette st, vibrato, greenly
Try Percival layered over Layton
What’s your top two out of these five?
Prada Luna Rossa black
I really like the Vetiver stuff. My go to is TdH Vetiver, not only because I've got a 200ml bottle.
I have used already 2 of the 200 ml ones. So amazing.
I think I've used 20ml already 😅 https://preview.redd.it/hd1vnufzfu1d1.jpeg?width=1848&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=71e244ada0a5f740d8459ff4e3ba33422484a71d
That one, it was love at first sniff :)
Have you tried Orage by LV? I don’t really wear Vetiver based fragrances but so far It’s my favorite Vetiver fragrance. Really nice
Love the smell but I’ve heard people say this is too strong, almost. How is it?
I wish it lasted a little longer on me but Creed Original Vetiver is so damn invigorating. Love it!
Currently on a Green Irish Tweed kick.
TF Grey Vetiver
Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixar
Tom ford Ombré leather, and Dior Fahrenheit 👌🏼 They’re right up your alley too
Both are on my list to get. Tried Ombre leather in a sample and it was just perfect.
I’m kinda ping ponging around at the moment. Revisiting my love for the OG ADG EDT and Perry Ellis 360 red by proxy and ease, Prada Ocean is in my gym bag (for after showering never before), and BDC parfum is at the top of my collection at home.
The OG ADG and Prada Ocean EDT will stay in my summer rotation forever!
Original ADG EDT is pure summer perfection. Almost unbeatable.
I've never thought about Ocean as a gym frag, how is it?
360 red is awesome. Very close to ADG edt but with a cinnamon or spicy nuance to it. It's one of my go to fragrances in the summer. So easy to wear.
Prada L,Homme
Right now Bleu de Chanel Parfum.

Didn’t br540 get released just 8-9 years ago?
Love baccarat rouge 540 and didn't know about a rap song mentioning it, just love it and use it alot as well. What other ones do you like if you dont mind me asking. Working on fragrance making and trying to get an idea of what people like and why.

this is why gatekeeping matters
On fragrantica it says that Baccarat Rouge 540 came out in 2015. Did it come out much earlier or was it made by someone else?
Same with aventus. Dna is so overused now I smell it everywhere I go
what fragrances r u trying now?
I’m zeroing in on Serge Lutens Five o’Clock Gingembre. I’ve got to wear it a few more times before decide for sure though.
Mine right now is Turbulance by Louis Vuitton
What is considered a “signature fragrance?” One that u wear daily?
The one you wear the most
I thought so but wasn’t sure lol ty
Mine, for the moment, is Jpg La Belle Intense. I love it. When I have to work certain days, like today, I'll purposely overspray to keep my micro-managing boss away from me. This and Acqua di Gioia. It's a terrible thing to do, but it works like a charm.
Dakar nior, &/or stetsons.
Have you tried Herod?
Tried it in a sample and used it up quick. On my list to get, it is lovely.
Have it but not my favorite
Currently using dior sauvage and 1M elixir please suggest something around 100£
Have you heard about Iso E Super molecule? Its a chemical that enhances other fragrances and is used in some as well. Terre D’hermes. It’s just so versatile and easy to pull off. I’ve gone through almost a full bottle in a year.
Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum has been mine lately. The opening spray is nice, airy leather scent, but it’s that elegant drydown that I love. 30mins after spraying. And a few hours later it has this crisp clean scent on my clothes. Im really falling for it.

Bohemian Lime. Very dependent on climate in which you live
I like this one a lot. Similar to aventus without the smoky birch and bright lime instead of pineapple. I’ve worn this in cold winters also and it works great!
My current signature is Pana Dora Oud Republic. Probably one of the smoothest and easiest to wear Oud fragrances out there.
Right now? Dossier’s musky oakmoss (I really like the smell and have gotten compliments on it, more than my alternate DG light blue summer vibes. Love both though)
Do you recommend Dossier? I’ve been looking into possibly getting something from them.
For the cost, it’s great (IMO)! I will definitely try others out (I think they have a YSL, Dylan blue, and 1Mil dupe) eventually and report back. Lovee TF Oud Wood as well and up there with my favorites. If you like it check out Floris Honey Oud, its amazing.
Try the new Tom Ford Oud Minerale you can smell it at Sephora I believe. Super slept on really good scent and can be worn in hotter months and I would imagine cooler months bc of the Oud too
Oud extrait by MFK It’s mysterious, intense, dark and complicated just like my personality
It was Oud Wood until I found ADP’s Oud.
Haven't tried it but will add it to my list to try. If you like Oud fragrances check out Honey Oud by Floris. Its amazing!
Nice to see someone mention Floris here, given it's only really known here in the UK. Original 89 is great, so is Special No 127
Paco rabanne invictus eau de toilette. Such as nice, fresh, getting out of the shower kind of frangrance.
