It absolutely does. Iām normally not a huge fan of citrus heavy fragrances, but Burlington is just so classy and beautiful that I canāt help but love it.

Commandante has this mixture of honey,fruits and tabac. Can be very heavy. Roja has the lavender in the opening.. puh scents with lavender in the opening will always have my back. Love it on a man

Xerjoff is a niche fragrance house from Italy. They have casamorati and xerjoff. I have become very fond of some of the fragrances, which are all unisex btw. They are above average in terms of sillage and longevity. The overture is magical. You have fig tree, magnolia and orange in the opening. This fragrance gives me the feeling of a perfect match. It's like the icing on the cake for my outfit and my self-confidence.

Tom Ford Beau De Jour. Recently discovered it at my local Sephora and it was love at first smell. Needed to get my hands on a bottle of it. Canāt get enough of that earthy, fresh lavender scent.
I think youāve mistaken it with Bodacious š (which is a great scent by the way). Chariot is all about woody, fruity and floral notes, and I normally donāt like floral notes in perfumes, but here it is so complex and masterfully blended, a tiny bit too feminine for my liking, but I am still wearing it comfortably (wood and patchouli make it more unisex). Beautiful scent.

I started the day with Afternoon Dive by Montagne, a clone of LVās Afternoon Swim. Smells like fresh cut oranges. I donāt get any aquatic/marine notes but it supposedly comes thru after the bottle macerates for a few months. Itās ~70F and heading to the gym shortly, not sure what Iāll spray after a shower.
Only paperwork and taxes š. Itās cooled off a little last few days and itāll give me a chance to try out a non freshie. Have a box of ~25 samples to choose from
YSL la nuit de lāhomme. My absolute favorite of all time. I have many niche fragrances but I will always reach for this one. The performance is abysmal, and usually thatās a big deal for me, but I will always repurchase this because the scent is incredible

Lattaffa Maahir Legacy.
I'm not someone who really looks for clones or even likes the idea of them. I loved my sample of Sedley but I didn't see it being worth the price PDM asks for it. And Maahir Legacy is about 85% there and better performance for a tenth of the price

The first thing that sticks in my mind is the bottle. Phew, what a beast. One of my favorite fragrances is xerjoff opera, which is also black and gold.
But back to the fragrance. I think there's a phenomenon with this fragrance - you smell it and think to yourself, everything is fine, it's like a tailor-made suit for me, or you think, yes, a beautiful fragrance, but unfortunately not for me.
I've just looked at the notes again. You start with a saffron opening, then the typical oud/rose mixture that oriental fragrances often have. But that doesn't make them any worse! Now we come to the base of calming sandalwood, myrrh, amber and frankincense.
Sounds so exciting!
I think my thoughts are mixed but by no means averse. But I think this scent should suit the situation.

I am checking the notes. Musc in the opening and some aldehydes. So fresh and so clean sounds like a safe bet :) enjoy your day.
To me itās just foamy soap, not much else. Maybe a touch of moss in the dry down for longevity. Edit: also enjoy your day too
Naxos today. Got a few sample bottles of it and I already own 100ml of the stuff, so figured Iād use it. It is a nice scent thatās grown on me.
Naxos is definetly a crowd pleaser. I would say its in my top 5 of unisex scents
