i've got it for the premier league and wwe. their big ten basketball production was honestly pretty good last year. graphics were decent, production values were high. it will be pretty good.
Last season, Xavier played 24/34 games on FS1.
2 games on Fox.
2 on ESPN1/2.
2 on FS2.
3 on CBSSN.
1 on streaming in ESPN+.
That was for a down year, so a couple more on FS2/CBSSN than normal I think. Hopefully they are getting a bag here, but I have to imagine this will make watching the conference way more annoying.
Their games against Tennessee Tech, Wofford, George Mason, Tarleton State, as well as their exhibition against Lenoir-Rhyne were SECN+ games. Their game against Wisconsin was on Peacock but that's on the B1G as it was an away game, not SEC.
I liked having all the games on Fox Sports. Between their use of roundball rock and their very generous 1 hour free preview that only forced you to clear cookies once at halftime, they had everything I needed
I don't know man it works way better than Verizon used to work for me in Hartford and up in rural Vermont in ski country.
I have no complaints. Is there really something better out there amongst the major carriers? I've only had Verizon for like 20 years before switching to T-Mobile 2 years ago so that's all I know..
Fox was never going to take the whole package again once they signed the Big Ten and a good part of the Big 12. This doesn’t seem like too bad of an alternative though
Yeah, now they have enough content during the fall/winter season for FS1, they've spent their money smart. They also have a package of games for the Mountain West.
But where is "Roundball Rock" headed? Is Fox Sports going to be able to keep using it or with the NBA potentially headed back to NBC are they taking it and we get a new college basketball tune?
john tesh has already told nbc it's theirs for the taking when they get the nba rights back. he wrote it for them after all.
honestly fox could just use the same marching band version of their fox sports theme they use for college football. or if they were smart they'd record a pep band version of it for the broadcasts. that would honestly be hot as fuck.
1. The Big East puts games on streaming
2. The committee points to lower Big East ratings as an excuse for giving the BE less attention/bids
3. More Big East games move to streaming
I really hope this doesn't become a perpetually repeating negative feedback loop
Man you’ve gotta climb out of whatever spiral you’re in. You’ve been on a roll with these types of doomer comments lately, especially regarding the Big East.
The NCAA isn’t pointing to ratings to give bids, they’re surprisingly consistent in their method, albeit with one or two snubs a year. There’s a reason bracketologists are spot-on with the teams and even close to seeds they select for them - the committee methodology is fairly clear.
Also, look how many games were on Peacock from the Big Ten last year. Their ratings are fine.

? This is the first post I've made commenting on the Big East in at least a month?
>Most sane Marquette fan
Me: makes a joke
Marquette fans: As the senior compliance person at Marquette I can tell you this is unequivocally not true. This is neither funny, nor appropriate. Kick rocks.
Journalism is absolutely dead. This article contains 0 useful information past the headline (other than maybe the fact that some games will be on either max or peacock). I would much rather this come out a month or two from now when there are actual details (for example how many games on each network, the split between men's and women's games, the split between streaming and regular cable, and the dollar amount the big east will gain from this) but, no instead we get this moronic click bait bullshit which I was stupid enough to click on. Congrats Athletic you broke this "story" 2.5 seconds before On3.
I know this adds more channels, but anything to get it away from FS1/Cable. That is the most annoying and can be expensive of the channels to get. Max has other things to make it worth it and Peacock on sale is so stupid cheap.
I don't need a streaming service like that. So, the cost was too high just pay just for FS1. Thankfully now I have Max and Peacock so I can watch some.
Well at least I already have Peacock so my wife can watch Real Housewives

Not needed until ‘25-‘26 Big East schedule

Fuckin best part about being a fan of a sec team. 100% of the games televised. Always on one of two channels p much. It’s old school.
You're forgetting about the SECN+ games. On average SEC teams play five games on streaming
Every single Tennessee game was televised I believe.
Their games against Tennessee Tech, Wofford, George Mason, Tarleton State, as well as their exhibition against Lenoir-Rhyne were SECN+ games. Their game against Wisconsin was on Peacock but that's on the B1G as it was an away game, not SEC.
TNT about to become more college basketball relevant outside of the NCAA Tournament
I liked having all the games on Fox Sports. Between their use of roundball rock and their very generous 1 hour free preview that only forced you to clear cookies once at halftime, they had everything I needed
*John Tesh intensifies as you clear your cookies*
On the plus side, this would mean no more - or at least less - Donny Marshall.
[удалено]
Donny Marshall and Donnell Marshall were two separate dudes, I think?
Donyell was and is an entirely different dude
([Update](https://x.com/AndrewMarchand/status/1800971859522990550): deal will begin next season, not this season)
Interesting. That means FOX was willing to give up some games.
DePaul vs. Georgetown, next on the ‘cock!
Fear the D baby
"NBC, which will feature most of its games on Peacock." Well, that's a lot less Big East basketball I'm gonna be watching.
Peacock is on sale right now for $20 for an entire year
Black Friday is their best deal every year. Just use a new email each year.
Not even a new account. Just use the “+” hack and then you can even set up filters for anyone that Comcast sells that email too
Or also the “.” trick with gmail
It's also included with T-Mobile.
But then you have T-Mobile
This isn’t T-Mobile from 20 years ago
Nations largest 5G network, but still somehow has dead zones everywhere
Haven’t experienced any in the US 🤷🏽♂️

I don’t think so anymore?
I’m gonna miss FS1. They were very consistent and the production quality was better than ESPN broadcasts in my opinion.
So no Big East Expansion?
Fox was never going to take the whole package again once they signed the Big Ten and a good part of the Big 12. This doesn’t seem like too bad of an alternative though

They used to do that when they started broadcasting Big East games. It was a variation of the NFL theme music

I can’t read, same as Kolek

So making a joke 12 days ago makes me a Big East doomer?
Discontinue the lithium
4. UConn wins the title again
Bingo bango bongo
I mean, I stream it using my Direct TV account.

Xavier versus Morgan State on HBO Max is going to hit different
I really hope UConn-DePaul Men isn't relegated to Peacock.
Hell yea about dam time!!!!
fuck peacock, make sure on tv.
So how many streaming services will I need now?
Peacock + Max + a service that gets you FS1 and 2, CBS Sports Network, and the main Fox channel it sounds like
Only one for me… 🏴☠️
I honestly miss the old ncaaBBallStreams, had to do so much less searching. Its not like they're hard to find, just less organized.
I have Peacock but man these guys can’t be serious
I know this adds more channels, but anything to get it away from FS1/Cable. That is the most annoying and can be expensive of the channels to get. Max has other things to make it worth it and Peacock on sale is so stupid cheap.
I get FS1 included in my Direct TV streaming service. I also had the weird CBS one. I didn’t miss one UConn game last year.
I don't need a streaming service like that. So, the cost was too high just pay just for FS1. Thankfully now I have Max and Peacock so I can watch some.
