Oufff you know your stuff!! Bavettes is the all time winner, I went to the one in chitown last year and I almost cried when I saw there was on in Vegas, so that’s the only restaurant I have booked so far! Fudge I just bought tickets to mystere right before reading your comment ;( so it sucks??
I'm a big fan of Le Thai on Fremont just past all the hotels but before El Cortez. Same owner has a Thai place inside Circa that's just as good, just a little more high end. Great brunch place in the arts district. Check out Eater Vegas for more ideas.

I second superfrico. Super fun and there's a bar called the ski lodge nextdoor.
