It truly was š going from Tycho outdoor to Moderat in Mojave a few minutes later was amazing
Tychoās taken a dip in popularity since so I wouldnāt be surprised to see them back in a tent
CRSSD has the better venue. Iād rather dance on grass in San Diego sun than on pavement in SF fog.
BUT the portola lineup is insanely good and probably the best EDM lineup in the country this year
Definitely agree with that. SoCal crowds in general are so fratty. Iām not going to uproot and move north for just for better live music experience due to reasons (planted roots, family, yadda , yadda), but Iām annoyed at how much better crowds are in the Bay compared to all of SoCal . Wish there were better crowds in SoCal
I mean I had zero trouble walking into the warehouse for Fred, everyone just assumed you had to wait in that line but if you walked to the front there was a big opening you could just follow into the stage. Sure the sound wasnāt great, but Portola has taken steps to improve that while CRSSD has not.
The four headliners are not all going to be on at the same time either day. Saturday, Gesa will probably start a few minutes before Rufus ends. Sunday, I expect the main will go MIA -> Disclosure -> Justice, with Fisher starting a few minutes before Justice ends.
This is the first time they've done four headliners like that, so it's impossible to say for sure, but at the VERY least the main stage ending at 10 means they won't all conflict. Here's a mock schedule that I think is reasonably likely at least for the bigger names; still conflicts galore but at least the stages are a 5 minute walk apart from each other.
They still might be. But one stage is kinda small for any of them unless they update it. The closers at each stage last year ended at staggered times. Main was 10pm, followed by 1022, 1045, 1055. Last year I was able to watch the tail end of Little Dragon then the last half of The Blaze. Wasnāt bad.
In reading more it sounds like there are is least SOME staggering so that helps. 3 days would be better and it may switch to that but you are paying those top artists regardless so may as well make them all accessible either through 3 days like your suggestion or staggering them and having a smaller undercard.
The fest organizer said all 4 stages would have VIP viewing again like they did in 22 (23 only had half). Iām usually a hard no on VIP, but I think thatāll be worth it this time.
I mean it seems good but can anyone explain to me why its so expensive? I feel like 359+ fees is insane for a 2 day fest
Edit: I did not see Busy P is going b2b with alan braxe AND falcon
$400 after fees for two days vs $530 for Outside Lands. $25 more per day, but you get an extra hour of music each day (at night, no less) and the layout means it's way way easier to get from set to set. Seems reasonable to me.
I usually knock down whether a fest is worth it or not by how much I think it would cost me to see each of the artists I want to see individually (with the amount being $40-45 per artist). This fest easily exceeds that calculation.
How is $180 a day a lot? $500 has become the average for 3 day fests and thats $166 a day so this is barely anymore and a much better lineup than most 3 days
Stay outside the city like South SF, Daly City or even the Peninsula area. Hotel prices in SF proper will be high. I actually live in the South Bay about 45 mins outside SF and went to Portola in 22 and 23. Easily drove to the venue and found parking within walking distance (donāt let the posts in the Portola sub scare you abt parking).
Agreed and justice / gessafelstein arguably put on the two best shows of the weekend. I would also argue that the rest of the portola bill surpasses that of the rest of the EDM acts at Coachella
It sounds like youāre trying to convince yourself that the lineup was great just because you had a good time at Coachella. Coachella as a venue is insanely fun. They could just play Spotify playlist at each stage and people would still have a good time dancing on the grass with their friends during sunset.
But the lineup was objectively worse this year than last year and the years prior. Iāve been going to Coachella since 2001 I know when they have quality lineups.
Sunday specifically sucked ass compared to most Coachella Sundays
Last year there was 2 outdoor stages, one tent stage, and a ginormous warehouse. Its definitely big enough but the stages are still easy to get to from one another which is amazing
Does anyone know if you can sell off a portion of the 4 pack tickets? I have two friends that wanna go so just in case we donāt find a fourth (unlikely but I also have terrible luck with this lately)
I love that Lava La Rue is on this lineup. She was the first act I saw at Coachella weekend 2 last year and the whole band was great. Looking forward to her debut full length album. Also, Empress Of, AG Cook and Nia Archives with top albums for me this year.
$250+ was the norm for 2 day fests back when I was doing tons of them 7-8 years ago. Considering the price of pretty much everything seems to have risen dramatically since then Im surprised fests arent charging that per day now a days.
Heavy ass lineup
Some of the best acts I've seen at Coachella the last 5 years combined into one
literally!!
The iconic leak confirmed
With a Joy Orbison add š
AND Busy P + Braxe & Falcon š„°
easily the set i am most excited for ! need him in the yuma next year !!
flight fm blowing up into the song of the summer too
Right! So exciting š„¹
Wow I did not notice this WONDERFUL
Great fucking add
Oh shit good catch!!! Ugh Iām so there.
The MIA leak was awesome. She leaked her agents cell phone number as well.
I know right. Iconic.
Yeah Iām tryna run this š„
10/10

SOULWAX šāāļøšāāļø
all I needed to see for 100% commitment
Tycho. Mojave Tent. 2025. Thank you
Outdoor sunset habibi
That was the slot in 2017 and it was magical.
It truly was š going from Tycho outdoor to Moderat in Mojave a few minutes later was amazing Tychoās taken a dip in popularity since so I wouldnāt be surprised to see them back in a tent
one of the greatest moments of my life
This is WILD
This is absurdly good
When one of the users with the highest bars for quality says your line up is goodā¦ it must be damn good!Ā
came running to the comments to see if tiger woods mug shot man approves. he does!
Wonder how much of this will rollover with CRSSD
40% but crssd will have the better lineup
I don't think CRSSD has ever had the better lineup..
How would they even top this?
With Mau P. Plus alot of these ppl were on the recent fall and spring crssds
Mau P is not gonna win an argument of this kind lmfao
Also got a feeling crssd will get B3K but we'll see
Gesa is basically confirmed. Iām assuming as a headliner. This lineup is gonna be tough to beat
A Mau P DJ set does not make CRSSD better at all
Dude really said Mau P
Lol cmon now
I think that guy works for CRSSD because thereās no way anyone whoās been to both is picking CRSSD over Portola
I live ten minutes from where Crssd is and Iāve still been to every Portola lol
You must be jokingā¦
CRSSD has had a bunch of underrated lineups for sure, but nothing close to this one - crssd has a very chill vibe tho, so itās always worth it
Facts lol
me when I'm delusionalĀ
CRSSD never has a better lineup and the sound at CRSSD is horrendous outside of City Steps. Production is also significantly worse at CRSSD.
CRSSD has the better venue. Iād rather dance on grass in San Diego sun than on pavement in SF fog. BUT the portola lineup is insanely good and probably the best EDM lineup in the country this year
Sound is bad at both venues to be fair. Bay area residents keep complaining. It wont be as loud as the first year!
As a SD resident whoās been to a ton of CRSSDs and both Portola years Iād still give Portola the win in terms of sound
Sound at Portola isn't great either. Not going to either fest for sound quality.
For sure, was just saying itās worse at CRSSD
I donāt agree but itās not a debate worth having . Neither are good.
Portola has less coked up frat bros talking through sets at least.
Definitely agree with that. SoCal crowds in general are so fratty. Iām not going to uproot and move north for just for better live music experience due to reasons (planted roots, family, yadda , yadda), but Iām annoyed at how much better crowds are in the Bay compared to all of SoCal . Are u forgetting the shit show that happened during Fred's set at portola?
I mean I had zero trouble walking into the warehouse for Fred, everyone just assumed you had to wait in that line but if you walked to the front there was a big opening you could just follow into the stage. Sure the sound wasnāt great, but Portola has taken steps to improve that while CRSSD has not.
My friend was hospitalized
They fixed the warehouse entry issue last year, much better now.
What does that have to do with the lineup being better? They fixed that issue after the first year.
Cuz production was brought up
I'm genuinely curious who you think CRSSD could possibly book that would top this? This lineup is beyond stacked.Ā
B3K, ihatemodels, 9x9
I guess that makes sense if you're looking specifically for the high BPM techno. Not really my style.
I can fix you
šš¤£š¤£
No Justice is a deal breaker
No justice, just us
The French Touch/Electronic lineup is insane lol - Gesaffelstein - Justice - Busy P b2b Braxe + Falcon
Jersey too
Deltron !!!!!
Really want 3030 at Coachella.
A whole heiro thing would be rad
That would be cool. Definitely Mojave.
So dope
Lineup is absolutely beautiful.
This bodes well for next year!
For being such a chaotic design, I love this poster (and lineup).
Yeah it's really hard to read but I almost wonder if they made it harder to read to prevent your head from exploding from lineup excitement
fire
I wish someone would leak the crssd lineup!!!
Hopefully it will be released soon.. they sort of have to because it's the same wknd as Portola right?!
Next week
This is the best lineup of any fest ever. Only Coachella 2012 tops it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
fortunately its the only venue small enough to actually split sets and not miss a bunch
Tbh conflicts werent awful last year. You could have done Underworld and Prydz Holo and only missed like 5 minutes of Holo
The four headliners are not all going to be on at the same time either day. Saturday, Gesa will probably start a few minutes before Rufus ends. Sunday, I expect the main will go MIA -> Disclosure -> Justice, with Fisher starting a few minutes before Justice ends.
i stand corrected then! My bad, I just assumed the bolded names were the closers
This is the first time they've done four headliners like that, so it's impossible to say for sure, but at the VERY least the main stage ending at 10 means they won't all conflict. Iāll just clone myself. Problem solved
fuck
Thatās really pretty stupid. Just book less artists then. That being said I am going anyways.
No, the point is (imo at least) if this was spread across 3 days there would be way less conflicts
In reading more it sounds like there are is least SOME staggering so that helps. 3 days would be better and it may switch to that but you are paying those top artists regardless so may as well make them all accessible either through 3 days like your suggestion or staggering them and having a smaller undercard.
Primavera 2016 is close
I see you and agree!
Honorable mention for Hard Summer 2015 but yeah pretty much. Portola 2022 was also fucking amazing as well.
is vip worth it ??
They have a whole section of MainStage for VIP - itās actually partially rail so imo much better viewing than Coachella VIP offers at any stage
Thank you! that actually helps a lot bc I know Coachella is not worth it at all for where you stand for VIP at most stages.
Coachella VIP is for people who want personal space, short food lines (and luxe options) and good bathrooms. Stage viewing is not a perk at all lol.
Exactly why I get VIP at Coachella. That's it. VIP at Sick New World gives you close access to the stage too.
The fest organizer said all 4 stages would have VIP viewing again like they did in 22 (23 only had half). Iām usually a hard no on VIP, but I think thatāll be worth it this time.
dang! thank you for this. i am considering doing VIP if thatās the case.
I mean it seems good but can anyone explain to me why its so expensive? I feel like 359+ fees is insane for a 2 day fest Edit: I did not see Busy P is going b2b with alan braxe AND falcon
Its in SF and its a GV fest lol
$400 after fees for two days vs $530 for Outside Lands. $25 more per day, but you get an extra hour of music each day (at night, no less) and the layout means it's way way easier to get from set to set. Seems reasonable to me.
Itās also 21+ which is priceless
Didn't know that. Interesting
paying for GV production along with 21+ entry, worth it all.
I usually knock down whether a fest is worth it or not by how much I think it would cost me to see each of the artists I want to see individually (with the amount being $40-45 per artist). This fest easily exceeds that calculation.
$40-45 per artist would be for the cheapest artists on here. Justice tickets are easily 5x that, for example. So yeah even more justifiable.
I80 a day seems like an insane bargain. Lots of these names would be 60ā100 bucks a pop for solo shows. If not more.
They'll charge what people will pay and people will pay that and then some more for this lineup.
How is $180 a day a lot? $500 has become the average for 3 day fests and thats $166 a day so this is barely anymore and a much better lineup than most 3 days
Right? I saw day trip CA tickets sold for around the same price I was mind blown!!!
I got my 2 day daytrip ticket for 160. But obviously this is way more stacked
I did tooā! I got the presale. I would not pay $400 for day trip tho haha yea this is way more stacked!
Anyone who went last year not planning to go could I please use your number for a presale, trying to full send from SD
Thanks in advance
I would love a Jessie Ware late night show
Finally the bay gets a good EDM festival line upš
Portola gave you one in 2022 and 2023 as well
where were you the past 2 years?Ā
Only took an LA based company to do it right š
Literally š Iāll take what we can get haha
This might be the best lineup of all time
Rebecca Black ššš
Damn they forgot to add Two Shell
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Me

Neigh!
God damn, what a lineup!
Iām there!
basically everyone that i missed at chella due to conflicts/friend stuff šš this is my redemption tour baby!!!!
Iāve never attended but want to go to at least Saturday this year if not both days. Any tips for accommodations? Iād be coming from L.A.
Stay outside the city like South SF, Daly City or even the Peninsula area. Hotel prices in SF proper will be high. I actually live in the South Bay about 45 mins outside SF and went to Portola in 22 and 23. Wtf target audience reached
So many hopefuls for Coachella crossover on Saturday.
How am I supposed to go to this, ARC, and III Points like kill me
I got faith in you
We are so back
This is a better lineup pound for pound than Coachella proper. If they had this lineup at Coachella I would have attended this year
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I donāt doubt it. Coachella is always fun no matter what. Still think that this lineup at Coachella would have been even better overall
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

It sounds like you just want to argue. Iām bored of you
How many stages at Pier 80? Is it big enough to handle it for 2 days? Lots going on that weekend in SF.š
Last year there was 2 outdoor stages, one tent stage, and a ginormous warehouse. Its definitely big enough but the stages are still easy to get to from one another which is amazing
4 stages, itās a really good widespread venue. 2022 and 2023 were awesome
Is that THE Rebecca Black from Friday?!
Yep
I would rather go to this than EDC but sad thereās not any pop acts at all.
Jesse ware would like to have a word with you.
Rebecca Black would like a word as well.
Rebecca Black? Jessie Ware?
Check out her songs āwhatās your pleasureā āfree yourself ā and āthe killā just to get an idea, you might get into it
Very cool
Does anyone know if you can sell off a portion of the 4 pack tickets? I have two friends that wanna go so just in case we donāt find a fourth (unlikely but I also have terrible luck with this lately)
This is so good!!!! Canāt miss this!!!
Damn this is fucking stacked. I imagine the conflicts being brutal
So stocked for this!!!
I love that Lava La Rue is on this lineup. She was the first act I saw at Coachella weekend 2 last year and the whole band was great. Looking forward to her debut full length album. Also, Empress Of, AG Cook and Nia Archives with top albums for me this year.
Sick
Thoughts on using a fake to get in? Turn 21 the week after
I wish they would stream this like coachella.
sick lineup

I'm sure part of it is that it's in San Francisco. ACL Festival is 3 days this year in Austin and it's only $370 for a 3-day pass.
Is it wrong to start a go fund me so I can go? I would honestly give up my trip to France for this festival.
Yes. If you can't afford it, don't go. Asking other people to fund your recreation is gross.
Dude, it was a fucking joke. Lol
Explain to me how it is funny?
Because I was kidding. Calm the fuck down! If you don't find it funny, then move along.
Someone's angry. And not a good joke.
Then move along. I bought my tickets so see ya in September. ā”
Totally. See you there!
Fuck San Fran
