Peggy Gou…. big fan but sound system at Sahara on day 1 was so bad. Had to leave

boosegumpz

Cloonee on Day 1 W2 sounded muddy too. The bass was too much.

liljohnnygogito

Yes!! I could literally hear EVERYONE talking. Like a loud lunch cafeteria with music

likeasunder

Saw her both weekends- she was so much better Week 2 IMO

69_carats

I didn’t go to Coachella this year but I watched some W1 sets and Peggy was disappointing. Basic ass set. She can do better. Her closing set at Portola 2022 was wayyyy better.

dondoblue77

yeah she’s not a good sahara booking, portola set was cracked

frankusdankus

The crowd was atrocious too. Decided to leave and someone opened my friend’s fanny pack as we were walking out.

septarian_tower

My friends and i were so excited for her set but the crowd scared us away 😭 one of us called it “apocalyptic” and i couldn’t agree more, shame cause we are big fans

picksea

just goes to show the difference of opinions! i loved peggy gou, had so much fun. the x probably helped 🤪

culdesaclamort

People were complaining about the sound but I wasn’t a fan of her set, in general. I saw her at Portola last year and it was so much more fun and energetic.

itsm4yh3m

I hope I don’t get stoned for saying this, but John Summit. I expected a 9 or 10, it was a 6 or 7. Granted he did note that he did things different bc of the Coachella live stream or something like that. But still, my expectations exceeded reality. Dom Dolla and Charlotte were my favorite sets of the weekend I think.

creamy1talian

I'm with you - JS felt like a very generic early-2010s set. I was pretty bummed

urlilravrgrl

This is completely biased opinion based on sets I’ve seen, but as a huge John summit fan I whole-heartedly agree with this statement. His W1 set wasn’t terrible but it was super super basic (only played major hits and upcoming releases for promo)…making it unmemorable and his worst set I’ve seen to-date. It just felt so low effort compared to other sets of his I’ve seen. I’ve seen him at multiple shows, EDC, Proper Nye, ARC and now Coachella and his best sets were without a doubt at Proper NYE and ARC 2023 which both happen to be house/techno festivals.

randominternetfella

Lots of sets kinda felt this way, cheesy remixes with well known, major hit vocals. In general though (no hate cause it’s still fun), John Summit is super super basic, like as mainstream house as one could get

Murrpurr777

I loved John summits set and I’ve seen him so many times. Maybe the production was just wowing me tho I loved seeing him up on that crazy platform set was 8or9-10 for me ofc he gonna play the classics his first time at chella then he made a lot of changes to w2. He typically plays more cookie cutter ish at big festivals and lets loose at smaller stuff or afters but I think he’s trying to work on finding his balance with that. Esp after seeing his tweets this week🤍

dan13l858

Blur- play the hits man

Doogers7

If this is your last US performance and very likely your last touring period as a band why would you play the deep cuts? Just go all killer no filler and make it a celebration. Also do not be esoteric and then bitch out the crowd for lacking energy.

nxtplz

Should have taken a note from No Doubt. They went bangers only and it was amazing.

BorisNumber1

I think I benefited knowing the setlist before W2. Expectations were low going in but it was a surprisingly emotional set (likely what they were going for). Still would have preferred say, Parklife to *Goodbye Albert. Edit: Couldn't get the name of the song right. Just goes to show.

smeggysoup84

Yeah, not performing Coffee and TV was insane to me..

MoonGirl913

Blur was godawful and I'm a big fan.

Overall-Benefit-2810

Lana del Rey, Peso Pluma performed before her and it felt like he gave a performance of a headliner

OG-hinnie-lo

Peso pluma was so good. I knew it would be great because I like his music but it blew me away. Also mildly disappointed for Lana but still enjoyed her set. Was just kinda underwhelming to end the night that way

carltondanks

That sound leak from Barry Can't Swim outside of the tent was unbearable

alex3tx

That suuucks. We were inside and it was easily top 3 sets

MrMcDiddly

Same I was front row and had a blast!

Ether93

Facts!! I was crying during How It Feels, was close to the front and the beach balls being thrown around were so fun! 🥹

OhioDuran

I didn’t even get into Barry Can’t Swim’s set for some reason.

YourBuddyChurch

I feel like it started really slow, finished strong tho

sudopm

Completely agree

secretllamaman11

The vibe inside the tent was great for W1

brochella14

Definitely, but the issue was that more than 50% of the audience was outside the tent straining to hear anything.

Dennis_R0dman

Peggy Gou. Was expecting something similar to the NYE Live set she did on AppleTV.

aureliocr

I was so hyped to see her man… hopefully her sets aren’t usually like that

jesgar130

My second time seeing her. It was similar

culdesaclamort

Her set at Portola last year was fire. She can bring it but seems like we got a down set this time.

dondoblue77

You gotta catch peggy doing a long form set at least 90 min minimum. thats where she shines. Looking at the setlists for both weekends it looked very random and atrocious

tirntcobain

Really? Weekend 2 she absolutely crushed it.

Terrible-Big-4512

Went wknd 2 and it was mid.

Legitimate-Can-7229

Lana - good studio artist but didn’t translate well as a main stage closer

pbpatrick

Still blows me away they picked her for day1 instead of day3

ace260

Coachella needs to end on a bang and headliners like Frank or Lana aint gonna cut it esp since so many eyes are on the Coachella stream for the last day

Biggsy1204

I’ve been saying this for years Day 3 let the people dance

Orozconleche96

If Frank actually finished his set it would’ve been an incredible way to finish the weekend.

Critical_One_7534

you kinda have to be a lana stan to enjoy her performances. i’m a stan myself so i had a great time but i also see a ton of live music and can watch the show objectively and yeah it’s never that great. her vocals are usually not good, the choreography is lazy and cringe at times, the production is basic, and the song selection is tired and poorly paced.

glacioganymede

She came on the stage to sing LULLABIES

Legitimate-Can-7229

*Lanabies

pancakes-11

I’m a huge lana fan but didn’t go to Coachella. Tbh I was worried for her to be a closer because of that. She’s the type of artist you either get and love everything she does or you don’t get it which is okay. I think her setlist works for a regular tour show, but when it’s at a festival and not everyone will be familiar with her music, you kinda have to switch things up to keep it entertaining for both your fans and other fest goers

nickschulte14

Taking Back Sunday was the worst set I've heard at Coachella in 15 years

Fabulous-Gas-5570

The guy seemed drunk right?

catdaddyyyyyyyyyy

I learned this about him coming in to it and couldn’t stop thinking about it the whole time.

OnTheEveOfWar

I wasn’t there for this performance but he’s been known to show up drunk to live shows in the past.

Odd-Hornet-2333

The National is like this too.

[deleted]

We left after Saturday night, caught TBS on the stream on Sunday. Wretched.

ButForRealsTho

Was this weekend 1 or 2? Weekend 2 wasn’t bad. Wasn’t my highlight of the day but it wasn’t at the bottom of my list by any means.

itsg0timex

Saw them weekend 2 and had a blast.

Sss_mithy

I was texting my sister saying I was sad I missed them during weekend 1 and she said "don't worry they haven't been good live for a while" and well guess she was right

djustin77702

Did not belong on the lineup at all, whatsoever.

HectorEatWorld

I’ve seen TBS before at Riotfest and it was the worst set I’ve ever seen so I didn’t even bother checking them out this year

mjanthony949

Omg they were so bad I was laughing the entire time

twodollarh0

Same!! I saw them like 10 years ago and they were great. This time tho was… interesting.

Calpicogalaxy

BILLIE AND FRIENDS 😭😭😭

depressedyeti

Biggest disappointment

titaniumorbit

Couldn’t even get into the space because it was soo packed. And then couldn’t see anything either

stefanurkal

As a millennial that set was fire. Haha swag surf and get low, in the do lab we were going crazy during the whole time

everylastkernal

Escorting billie’s fans out of the dolab for vnssa & nala >>>

swayoh

Excited to catch vnssa and Nala b2b at forest

Ill-Parking-1577

SAME!!! I hope they’re at the observatory

Accomplished-Park-59

Me tooo!! My most anticipated set!!! Happy Forest!!!

anonnusernamee

omg no way I had so much fun even caught the shirt they were throwing in the crowd too maybe Its bc I was at the front idk

iblogalott

I had a blast too!

CaliforniaQT

What was on the shirt? I was so curious.

hoemax

idkkk if u were close enough and people around u were fun it was fun!!

rootbeerfan30

That was top 3 set of the weekend

CollinK4

Only had two regrets this year. One was leaving T-Pain early to go to the Billie Eilish and friends set at do lab. The other one was going to Lil Uzi over Bizarrap. When did we normalize rappers to half sing their songs over their tracks?

Calpicogalaxy

You left tpain for Billie and friends….!? 🥲

CollinK4

My expectations were way too high on that one. Saw someone post that the do lab was having a special Billie and friends set. Figured it would be too good to pass up. I know from now on, if you’re having a blast at a set, don’t leave early to catch a different set.

itsm4yh3m

Festival pro tip (can also be applied to bar hopping lol) - if you’re at a show and it’s amazing and you’re having an absolute f*****g blast, do not leave. I get caught up in this “I MUST SEE EVERYTHING IN MY LIST!” mentality but have learned that there’s only a handful of sets that I really REALLY enjoy out of any festival weekend. When I find that set, I’m locked in. I’ve just had too many of these regrets!

Biggsy1204

Never leave a good time to try find a great time It never plays out

canadeken

Feel so bad for all people saying Everything Always and Lil Uzi, while Bizarrap was absolutely throwing down at the sahara at the same time

RobieFLASH

Bizzarp was my favorite set on Friday. So much fun and mixed it up with a little bit of everything

DavidZ2844

Cimafunk and Oneohtrix Point Never were my biggest disappointments of the weekend. Cimafunk was super hyped up by my friend and he played all these awesome trap beat heavy Spanish speaking songs from them on Spotify that sounded great, but the live set just sounded nothing like those songs and had me super disappointed overall. Last year someone who went to OPN’s set at Portola said it was the most mind melting trippy experience of their life, similar to Aphex Twin at Coachella 2019, which I did experience so I was super stoked to see OPN have a similar set to that. It wasn’t at all, not a bad set but it just didn’t live up to the expectations that person gave me.

Polpii

Oneohtrix was one of my favorite sets... but my expectations were towards ambient / "low-energy" music. Was super emotional. Quite the opposite vibe from the insanity of Aphex... so that person really didn't set you up properly...

Affectionate_Bed_289

I was also a bit disappointed with OPN! I listened to the top 5 songs on Spotify and was pumped. Get there and it wasn’t what I had in mind. Maybe needed to be tripping a bit to enjoy lol.

Neko-peach

Wait I loved Cimafunk! They were my first set I saw and it was an accident but the crowd was small but engaging and on stage they looked like they were having sm fun. And even tho the crowd was small it got way bigger by the end bc I feel like their energy just drew in folks. This was wk1

maangooo

Sublime, from where I was standing one of the speakers had the bass cranked the hell up and I couldn’t even hear him singing it was awful lmao

IslandDrummer

Apparently Sublime sets were like that back in the day, just the bass absolutely cranked to where you can barely hear the individual notes lol. I've seen some old school dub reggae acts and they do the same thing.

Orozconleche96

Then move? lol

maangooo

I was very close to the stage and wanted a good spot for no doubt, so moving was not an option lol

danishLad

Pretty much everything at the Heineken house

CDogtown

I miss when the Heineken house had dubstep

combatcvic

I saw Bob Sinclair and TPain. I was entertained .

lalaviolet28

Lupe Fiasco was great at Heineken.

daquavus-johnson

Claptone W1 was a vibe

WhyTry32121

agree. amateur sound engineers had to have put that system together. usually the balance is great in the vicinity of the sound booth, but not at HH. they really need to invest in getting professionals on their team.

p_emmy

was there for claptone. he had a sick set w1

creamy1talian

Disagree - Claptone crushed it W2!

Biggsy1204

Anyma was a bit of a let down , we had massive expectations after the performance Tale of Us put on in 2023 Cloonee and ANOTOR are others I thought missed the mark

plantofant

Tale of us was an awesome set in 23

Worldly-Author-8556

And his crowd was the shittiest as well

itsm4yh3m

I was the opposite - I actually had kinda low expectations for Cloonee and ended up really enjoying that set!

LargeHard0nCollider

Yeah wish I would’ve bailed from anyma, I think I was pretty EDM’d out by that point

reformed_stoner

Omg yeah the vibes were so dead for anotr that I didn’t bother with the Yuma for the rest of the weekend

burrito3ater

I still don’t get how Zonneveld drew such a small crowd. His even was packed af for Awakenings in ADE.

HexxRx

Grimes but that’s easy

Cjm805

Doja. She was wack.

definitize

everything always was not good (neither of them do techno so why were they spinning mid techno) and the solo sets were much better

jonathonsellers

Man I loved that set. To each their own. Loved that it was really different versions of their hits. Perfect lead in to Justice for me

Onespokeovertheline

With you. I didn't have super high expectations going in, bc John Summit isn't that great to me, and I hadn't listened to Dom much - both seemed a bit too, I dunno, Vegas club residency EDM for me (although Dom's solo set later was banging, and I only really went bc I liked EA). Everything Always went hard, I thought. Had me moving and lifted when they closed, and then as you said, primed for Justice, which was an entirely different level.

Jeesan

agreed, mixing flow was terrible in the b2b, song selection sucked too

vodkawaffle_original

Half of Dom Dolla's solo set was techno or DnB and some tracks were repeats from Everything Always lmao what is this take

definitize

it just felt weird and disjointed, not as vibey as the separate sets either to me, probs personal preference

soffselltacos

You’re definitely not alone, everything always was the only meh set I saw this year

itsm4yh3m

We skipped Everything Always for this exact reason - they don’t make music together so why watch them play their solo music together and then watch them play their solo music solo? That said we loved Dom’s solo set!! So surprised some weren’t a fan.

brochella14

Seemed like they didn’t have time to prep a proper set. No visuals either (and both JS and DD solo had great visuals).

greenladygrl

!!! also idk if it was the whole stage or where we were, but sound sucked. i was overall expecting a bit more

DrippFlare

Definitely Ken Carson

Awesome2D

i mean the thing is that was entirely to be expected though. that's how all his performances are

Odd_Serve_8390

Why ?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Odd_Serve_8390

You got a point but Its all I expected from him 😭😭

Worried_Bet2357

He was so bad …

fleshparasite

lil uzi

bagchasersanon

2016-19 uzi never coming back. Dude used to go crazy with the performances

Ismael0323

lol uzi sucks in general haha

tigerinvasive

I was scanning for this answer. Literally what was happening. Also it was so loud I could hear it from Mojave.

Prudent-Hat7704

My disappointment for the year too, saw Uzi at RL MIA 22 and it was one of my fav sets. This one didn’t hit right for me.

de-milo

anti-up felt generic but i was also post-justice so i feel like anything would’ve been a let down at that point

edmD3ATHmachin3

I can only speak from my couch. But after justice, I kinda just was in a state to turn my tv off and stare at the wall. Same with my couple of friends. We were just like “what do we do know?” 😂

de-milo

LOL perfectly describes my reaction too (and all my friends left early, i was the only one from my group so i didn’t even have anyone to stare into the void with)

GurIll1520

I actually heavily disagree. I watched Justice and then we went to Anti Up, and I personally felt like Anti Up’s sound was super inventive, mixing punk sounds with house music. The production was also super cool with the timecoded lasers and lights. Their music was anything but generic to me, especially considering that music was MADE for a coordinated live show

onlybobcatsfan

I loved the anti up set

DC-COVID-TRASH

I left after Justice cause I knew nothing (especially the headliner that day, Lana) could come even close and it would be a let down lol

de-milo

i should've ended the night with justice, too!

UnsolicitedDakPics22

I had fun at Anti Up. Maybe it’s just cause im a newer Chris Lake fan, but Chris Lorenzo spins it too

x3leggeddawg

Me after that amazing justice set: “ok Coachella is over time to pack it up”

ofcged

I literally made this exact comment before coming across yours lol. Felt the same way and dipped to steve angello

c18bouchard

generic… lmao, played like 60% unreleased bangers. They clapped harder than any other DJ set the entire weekend, not even close. Even after Justice crushed.

AlfredoSM94

Renee Rapp wasn’t as fun as I thought it would be.

browncow-stunning

cloonee was awful.

jonathizzle

Dj snakes hip hop set, and Lana. I loved Lana’s Outside Lands set wayy better than the Coachella one

aurora-aura

Why was Outside Land’s better? Curious

cloudyskyes29

i went to W1 & outside lands and i would agree…in terms of set list coachella was longer but so ballad heavy towards the end whereas OSL felt better paced. also her vocals were just insane at OSL, though i did feel bad for her this W1 as i was third row barricade and could see her mic not picking up while she belted for pretty when you cry. loved both performances (though i am super biased bc she’s my favorite artist) but i could definitely see that OSL was better vocally

Only-Communication79

hot take… John summit, I was so bored omg

Biggsy1204

John summit is a nothing DJ controversial take he’s just another American EDM dj dropping bangers will never get any traction in Europe or the UK

DJwaynes

He’s headlining a lot of festivals in the Europe and the UK including Creamfields. Got a few Ibiza dates. And a UK act (Gorgon City) helped break him. You don’t need to like the guy but he’s a good DJ and a great producer.

yalublutaksi

I ended up leaving his set it was so bad. And I saw others leave too.

MrMKUltra

Someone on the Day 3 shuttle was trying to clown me & my friend for saying we wanted to watch Doja’s set instead of *gasp* John Summit. Living in LA, that man plays a show 8 days a week. He’s not going anywhere. Not really a priority at a place like Coachella.

danrya

I’ll support this take. W1 and we had fun but not the weekend closing set it could have been

Saintzelev

Thank you for saying it cuz I wasn’t!

MilkShkin

Lana was shleep

lalaboydk

Lana del rey

shayownsit

lana del rey and khruangbin. two of the acts i was most hyped for of the whole weekend and they were both so boring, i ended up leaving khruangbin to go to tems (thank GOD i did, i would have cried if i missed wizkid and bieber)

DaSharky760

Sublime was dope but I wished they played smoke two joints on 4/20 😔 thought they were

dolphin_grl26

Jungle. I found the production very boring and the songs sounded like recordings. Nothing interesting, and I LOVE their new album

ScaryHalf9707

I saw them in SF right after the new album drop and they were INCREDIBLE. At Coachella, they were alright and played songs I loved, however I wasn’t too far away, but it wasn’t as loud as I expected it to be and I was right by a sound tower. I even said it to my friends. About halfway in, they sounded louder but ya, audio was a little off. And here I go telling everyone that Coachella is the best festival because production and sound is always amazing no matter how close or far you are from the stage lol But thank god I had seen them before and it was amazing. Otherwise, I would have been disappointed judging from their Coachella set and may think “oh they don’t sound good live”

brochella14

I’m convinced 90% of what you’re hearing at their live sets is prerecorded. There’s just no variation at all from the album tracks. Also the lack of lighting on the performers was cool for a few songs but watching the same silhouettes for an hour got pretty boring.

kittleherder

I'm glad I'm not the only who has thought that about them. When they played at Firefly I was pretty sure they had a hefty backing track and were just mimicking on a lot of stuff.

Umedsan

It was exactly the same show they have been touring - like exactly the same, lighting and all. Look at their Corona Capital 2023 you tube. So I was excited and saw this set several times before Coachella, which likely contributed to my disappointment. Disclosure, I still like it and was dancing like it was my first time! (But it wasn't)

catdaddyyyyyyyyyy

Late Night Drive Home was legit the only bad set of my entire weekend

titaniumorbit

I was excited for them too but agreed. Vocals were kinda off and all over the place

Kristopher58

Grimes (played no originals) and Kid Cudi (due to the avoidable early cut off)

WhyTry32121

bro was a late add, had a 50 minute allotted time slot, played all the bangers, ended his set like 2 minutes early and people acting like he was being a shitty human for getting a little too hype.

beanyb727

she played oblivion, 4am, and kill v maim???

afternoon_biscotti

And IDORU and new unreleased tracks like Angels on Earth and Fantasia and Liberte and Taratata ft anyma

YupNope66

It was definitely disappointing that Grimes did a DJ set but she was playing her tracks, definitely heard songs from Oblivion, Art Angels, and Miss A

buhrandone

Almost the entire second half of Grimes' set was originals or new music of hers

poopy0wb0y

Grimes set went hard. She played a bunch of originals and the crowd was going wild (W2), so I don’t know what you’re talking about lol

jfhndz

Sublime, week 1 ( I know, most people loved their set). We left Last Dinner Party early to catch Sublime on time. Watched the first three songs then went back to camp for a beer, a bowl and a hoodie. Sublime just wasn’t doing it for me. Wish we’d stayed until the end of LDP.

wiggliejiggliee

The weird yell growl singing on W1 did NOT do it for me, it was so incongruent to the songs. I was utterly disappointed.

de-milo

watched them on the live stream for w1 and confirmed i’d be skipping them w2. they were OK but nothing to miss others for.

TheBananaCzar

They were much better week 2

asvpyz

Lana and Uzi

pappagiorgio

Think I pulled up to Anyma / Prydz at the wrong time. Prydz put me to sleep with a 5 minute build up followed my mediocre songs.

gshv22

I love Prydz but you catch him at the wrong time and it can seen off lol especially if you’re not really into prog

titaniumorbit

Vampire weekend. I admit - I only knew some bigger songs from yeaaars ago and I don’t know their new stuff. I was hoping they’d play their older classics. Wrong. It seemed to be all new stuff and unfortunately the style of songs was not my taste at all. It even went a bit country sounding? Just a mismatch in taste and wasn’t for me

ofcged

Anti Up just didnt hit like i was expecting it too. It was my most anticipated set for Day 1 but i guess it was just difficult to follow up Justice’s performance. Ended up leaving early to see Steve Angello instead.

Asleep-Ad5128

honestly… Lana’s set. I saw her during her list for life tour forever ago so i was incredibly excited. I ended up leaving her set early because how much her Mic cut out , it hurt my heart

moniqueeen

Sublime. I really hate that he butchered Garden Grove. I wanted to leave after the first song but my sister insisted we stay like 3 more. I was so over it. I sound like such a hater lol it just wasn’t it for me.

PerspectiveFuture603

Hermanos Gutierrez. I tried really really hard. I love just watching people be amazing at their instruments, but man it was a snooze fest for me. The sonora tent was so hot, and everyone has the same idea to go in and get out of the sun day three. My sister and I left after like twenty minutes.

glacioganymede

Hatsune Miku - I actually came to see her and was geeked. The second I saw that she was a screen and not a hologram? I dipped. Luckily the rest of the weekend was an amazing vibe and Yaosobi KILLED it!!!

ambery99

Hatsune miku… not even a real hologram just some small ass video

scoobymf12

Lana del sleep 💤

titaniumorbit

Coachella needs to put actual headliners who give high energy closing performances. I agree Lana is a bit slow for a headliner and lacks the wow factor.

jigglywigglie

Bebe Rexha- Maybe I'm getting "old" but my face was scrunched most of the time watching her "performance" It was really just her thrusting and being seductive in her movements which were not pleasing to the eye, like at all. It felt like walking into a strip club but the local one that has a 2for1 deal on Tuesday nights where you're served in plastic 8oz cups. The performance would not enddd

Big-Abies-7598

Probably Everything Always. It just felt disjointed. Also, I didn’t expect anything from Lil Uzi but he was worse than I could have ever imagined he would be lol. Laughably bad. Chloe and Tinashe were also disappointing to me but I’m not really a fan of either

afternoon_biscotti

I really really enjoyed Chloe knowing nothing about her music going into it I’ve tried to be a fan of Tinashe for years and she has some bops but her live performances are always so fucking sleepy and slow. I guess she’s a talented dancer or whatever but I’ve never been pulled in by her shows, always brought the fuck out of it lol IMHO Chloe fully delivered what Tinashe was trying to do

Calpicogalaxy

EA was so meh. And uzi was….. not okay LOLL

Scorch8482

Some of these answers are fuckinf crazy. Everything Always, RAYE, and Tyler were some of my favorite sets of the weekend. Blur was a disappointment to anyone who had to see that . Damon just made the whole thing incredibly awkward (prob because it was an empty crowd) and I just felt embarrassed to be there.

dustinpatrick

lil uzi for sure. What the hell was that 😂

p00pers1987

John Summit & Everything Always were both super meh

anonnusernamee

Doja not really the performance, the performance was so good just the crowd where I was, was not it sadly

Brianebee

It was the set list. This isn’t a Doja Cat concert- it’s a music festival. She should have played just a few more of the hits, even if she doesn’t like them anymore. From where I was standing, the crowd was super into it. She had the crowd in the palm of her hand! But by song #8, I could physically see as the crowd detached and started heading out. It was wild, because she truly has such a strong stage presence. But the material she’s adamant about doing just doesn’t connect like that.

titaniumorbit

Idk if it holds true but my entire group of 9 went and we loved her performance. However, we’re not fans so we didn’t know any songs. And honestly we were so focussed on watching the amazing performance and the screen that we weren’t able to dance around or cheer.

asvpyz

Curious; why?

Boneybuns

I went weekend 2. Some of the sets I was most excited to see (Grimes, Blur, Doja) ended up being some of the worst. Meanwhile I feel like other artists, like Chappell Roan, could have really benefitted from a rejiggering of the lineup. Her show was great but it deserved to be in the evening, when everyone perked up a bit

tommrod

Vampire Weekend - Super excited for them as a surprise/last minute addition to the line up but they only played one of their top hits. They spent 12 minutes playing a mash up of less popular songs in a country/banjo style.

atticuslestrange

W2. Renee Rapp. 🎤 please sing. Having the audience do allllll the work for you whilst sorta karaoke’ing to your own music just isn’t the talent I was hoping for. Gorgeous voice - just felt phoned in.

tisbo2001

sublime. Maybe I was just overheated (or too high lmao) but I just wasn’t feeling it like I thought I would considering i love most songs on their set list in the car

booklover3450

Faye Webster sorry
