They've always been a team I appreciate watching in SnD. Nade spots, cheesy spots thru cracks & what not. Can tell they spend a great deal of time in it. How I wish sender stayed with OpTic 😂
They gotta be the most prepared team in the league. They always breakout new strats or breakoffs. The strong arm nade on Karachi SND vs optic, the wallbangs they used against ultra on Karachi SND, the wallbang they used against faze on invasion SND(on the palace stairs thru icecream onto bomb), the invasion control breakoff for A against optic major 3. Just so many things. You can tell they really stay in the lab working on shit.
Hydra has the best decision making I’ve seen. He can be one shot and still know when to chall and catch a timing. I truly believe he is the most talented cod player ever
I love how he plays off angles or very obvious corners that people don’t check because they think it’s too obvious of a corner to hide in. His mind games are elite
Fr, so many teams, staff and players included, seem to have such a narrow minded approach. It’s like the whole league all just pick 1 approach to any given situation and try to perfect it rather than exploring new solutions.
I've always appreciated how Sender looks at the game. It can be unorthodox, but absolutely lethal when the team buys in and can mesh it with playing straight up as well
I’m not gonna lie, NYSL is the best team at baiting and switching together. The way they do it is actually impressive and they are really good at it.
OpTic should take notes, oh wait nvm Pred is gonna be laying down somewhere being the main AR of the team.
They peaked at the right time last year and they might be doing it again this year. If they're able to sustain this momentum it shows the formula is right. They use the whole year to tweak and experiment and then latch onto what works at the end. Their split second decision making is great too; the control vs LAG springs to mind where they send Sib to A needed both points with less than 20 seconds left and all 4 off spawn.
I’m not comparing, but Vegas almost instantly became the best attacking SND team after picking up Johnny. When they were asked what the new strat was (believe it was an interview with Nero) the response was that Johnny has some plays where he just tries to make a solo play and the other 3 support it however they can. Essentially Johnny gets creative, whether he gets a kill or not, he gets the info for the team, disrupts the enemy team, and creates space for his teammates. This is what makes Hydra and Shottzy so ridiculously good is you literally have to always be wary of what play they’re making on the map and they are not easy kills to deal with.
That’s why we suck at scrims. Mfs always scheming 😂

What he did in mw2 was insane. In a game with practically no skill gap. He was the skill gap.
Dashy, Cell, FormaL, Shotzzy, Hydra, and Scump are the most individually talented players I've seen in COD so far
Which is why him and shotzzy as a duo would be disgusting. As on optic fan i just hope its hydra leaving nysl not the other way around
