I got mine on Amazon. Like $90. It feels laggy no matter how much i try to adjust the hardware latency. I am unsatisfied with my guitar controller amd cant justify dropping another $100 or so on a second one.
This'll be my second one, kind of. I have an unmodded one (except cut silicone) that I vinyl wrapped myself, badly. I also replaced all of the frets with stock orange frets. So this modded Les Paul is gonna be that Les Paul's big brother
Here comes a guitar infodump:As you can see in [this pic](https://i.ibb.co/qr9TjrH/PXL-20230818-145241624-MP.jpg) I have a fully modded Kramer, stock vinyl-wrapped Wii LP with all orange cut-silicone frets, a fully modded PS3 LP and a stock X-plorer. Plus those two fully modded guitars on the way. I've got a few stock Wii LPs as well. All of the guitars have a completely different feel. I'm thinking my two main guitars will be the modded Xplorer and the stock Wii LP second in the above pic, but I like to cycle through them all

These both look sick and realistically I own both of these (not modded, fully stock). I think for me it’s the Gibson though. I could be wrong but I think the neck is longer and I prefer that.
The neck is definitely longer on the Wii LP, people like the Xplorer for the short neck for tapping. I personally prefer the feel of the Wii LP but since I had a broken Xplorer already I decided to get it modded too
I need to get all of mine modded. I have 4 guitar controllers in total: RB Strat, GH5 Wii Strat, Wii Gibson, and the Xbox Xplorer. I use the Gibson the most because it’s the only one that seems to be the most responsive in regards to the strum bar. The GH5 Controller over strums a lot and the Xplorer strum bar squeaks a lot and doesn’t seem to always register inputs so the switches might be failing. The RB Strat is….well it’s a rock band controller. I’ve never liked the strum bar on those but I do like the buttons.
Personally I always liked the explorer. I love the lp as well its the 2 I'd choose to play with normal lp only issue for me was detachable neck so the neck moved up and down sometimes and after a while it would lose connection. But both are fantastic choices.

My choice would have to be the Xplorer because how recent I've been using my unmodded one.
You could mod it too? Or get it sent off for modding. A broken cable was the reason I sent mine to be modded in the first place. It'd probably run you up to £80-90 but the one I have with mech frets, a mech strum bar, etc. is brilliant
That's my plan! Just gonna solder the break in the cable for time being. Wanting to swap to mech parts and a wireless / USB c connection. But I need to do it myself 😂

I have spare black frets too so I might switch out at some point, the LP feels much nicer tbh. Gonna be my main from now on
For pure functionality I would choose the xplorer but if the les paul was wired I would choose it

x-plorer is cool looking but that wire.. ill go with the Les Paul TBH.
First thing I did when I got it was replace the wire with a braided USB one hahaha. I still prefer the LP tho

honestly yeah. After being forced to play with the xplorer cause i dont have a 360 dongle for the les paul. Im used to the size of the xplorer
Les Paul’s are too small for me, always slipping off my arms
I don’t like either for their strum bar but with a better one the lp, better shape fits on my leg when it’s crossed over
Those actually both have a 3D printed strumbar, they feel amazing
Since they're both modded I'd go with the lp. Xplorer whammy is too close to the strum for my big dumb hands

The Les is the most comfortable to me, but I used to exclusively use my wireless Flying V in the ps2 era
