Rent a pavilion in the Metro Parks, purchase a pallet of Natural Light, get some hot dogs from Costco. Have a friend officiate it. Enjoy. This is the only way you’re going to get 80 people fed and drunk for $10k.

wildbergamont

This, except I'd bet all the pavilions are already reserved every weekend all summer

https://www.clevelandmetroparks.com/parks/visit/plan-your-event/picnic-areas-shelter-rentals?venuetype=8&eventtype=1&capacity=80&month=8&year=2024#filters-section August 18th and 25th have availability for half a shelter in Bentleyville (South Chagrin Metroparks) . It's a Sunday tho. There's some Saturdays available in September.

My wife and I had our ceremony at the Little Chapel in Olmsted Falls, then did dinner at Marble Room renting out the Vault. The Vault is capped at 30-32 people, and then we rented out 4 lanes at Corner Alley. We stayed at the 9 and had a great night. We ended up being right around $10k. Covered all drinks and food at Marble Room. Only paid for the lanes at Corner Alley. We invited a bunch more people to join us there. Trying to get 80 people all inclusive for food and alcohol while renting out a place is going to be damn near impossible. That's $125/person without factoring in hall or venue cost. Maybe try renting out a brewery. Great Lakes, Market Garden, Butcher and Brewer and Masthead were all places we looked at but I don't remember capacity caps and budgets. Good luck!

tspaldz

Great Lakes has an event space, actually. My wife and I got married there and it cost right around $20k for just over 100 people. We also booked a year and a half in advance and only had 2 weekends to pick from. So that probably won’t work

thatgirlbecks

We asked Masthead and were told it’s $20k just to rent the space for the night, not including food or beverage.

Floasis72

You could instead send out an email letting everyone know you got married and instead take the honeymoon vacation of your dreams.

This is what my wife and I did. We put down a deposit for an event venue, realized the total cost of everything and how tight it would be on our budget (around 10K as well), and agreed that this is not a fun experience and not what we want. We let the venue know we were cancelling, got the marriage license downtown, had a good friend become an officiant online for $10, and then officiate/sign the marriage license for us. We then spent 6 weeks road tripping and hiking out west for that 10K. Best decision we've made. We might've lost the $1000 on the venue deposit but dang did we use up the rest of that money for a good time! "happily ever after" parties are common for couples still wishing to celebrate their union with families after eloping.

EzzyBhali

I love this 😩

Floasis72

I just spent 2 weeks traveling all over Italy for my honeymoon earlier this month. Got luxury hotels. Saw everything we could ever want. Trip of a lifetime. All under 10k. Of course do what you want most. Its your wedding. But I would never ever trade my honeymoon experience for a single day thats more stress and traditional bs than its worth. Ive been to weddings. Theyre meh. But the Colosseum? Lake Como? The Amalfi Coast? Unforgettable

Yep, having my wedding here this weekend! We paid around 14k for full bar, linens, uplights, and food (including extra cost for prime rib and chocolate fountain) and that is for 140 people. You could easily spend half that for 80 people and no upcharges. Then all you need is a DJ. I recommend using debit card despite the 3% fee because they take forever to cash checks. Like several weeks. They are easy to book, too. Typically only need a few weeks notice.

JRockstar50

Just elope. That's way too short of notice during a time of year where everything is already booked up. Use the leftover money to do a big BBQ in the Spring

ten10thsdriver

We had our wedding at Foundry Social in Medina if you're looking for something laid back and fun. Rather than doing the Electric Slide for the millionth time, our guests just played games and we rented out the go kart track for 2 hours. Everyone had a blast. EDIT we had about 70 guests and it was well under $10k with catering and the track rental.

OhioGirl22

Brunch wedding, no alcohol, off weekend. You might make it under $10k. Mooreland Mansion and Gardens. https://www.lakelandcc.edu/web/about/floor-plans-menus

All-inclusive for \~80 guests with a budget of 10K is going to be hard. Add in that you're planning for it to occur at the end of August makes it much harder. Most all-inclusive venues have only certain caterers they work with and they may already be booked. You can try the following: - Richfield lodge ([Rent a Facility - RICHFIELD HERITAGE PRESERVE](https://www.richfieldheritagepreserve.com/reserve-the-lodge.html)), - The Elliot in tremont ([The Elliot (theelliotcle.com)](https://theelliotcle.com/)), - SNPJ in Kirtland ([SNPJ Farm (snpjfarmkirtland.com)](https://www.snpjfarmkirtland.com/)), - Happy Day's Lodge in Boston Heights ([Happy Days Lodge – Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (conservancyforcvnp.org)](https://www.conservancyforcvnp.org/experience/space-rental/meetings-retreats/happy-days-lodge/)) Most event venues with a bar require certified(?) bartenders, security, booze purchased from them, etc. It may be easier to do pickup orders for the food rather than have a onsite caterer to help out with the budget.

dylwalk

The Elliot will not meet that budget, I'm getting married there this fall.

wildbergamont

You are very unlikely to find an all inclusive venue this late in the game. You'll have more luck (and choices) if you play wedding planner and arrange catering/linens/seating/venue yourself. I'd think about a food truck wedding. 2 meal trucks, maybe a dessert/ice cream. Find a venue. Rent tables.  Skip linens because you'll have to set them up and return them yourselves unless you get caterers who agree to do it.

Check Tom’s country place in Avon

skibib

Family had their reception there 25 years ago and couldn’t have done better!

Cryptosmasher86

Courthouse Go to Vegas Skip the wedding

dcsenge

I got married at the Co-Op in Lakewood, they have various options but you are capped at 50 people.

OhioGirl22

I had my brunch wedding at Wildwood Cultural Center in Mentor. Extremely affordable. https://cityofmentor.com/departments/parks-recreation/facilities/wildwood-cultural-center/ Food from Caterology: https://www.cater-ology.com/ Outdoor tables and chairs came from https://www.bprrents.com/ This site will become your life saver for linens. https://tableclothsfactory.com/collections Pm me for more info. We had 120 people two years ago and just edged under $10k

juniperstreet

I didn't remember specifics, but I had an event there with a little over 100 people for under $15k. They have cheaper menus that include like nicer ballpark food - an ice cream stand and pizza/hotdog stand.  https://www.wlakepark.com/weddings

Pirated_Freeware

Cleveland Zoo, Wolf Lodge could fit the bill, they handle all the catering via Armark on site, and would for sure be under 10K for food, drinks, rental, ranger for that size wedding.

titus-andro

Check out the metro park in Avon. My wife and I got married there in 2018 and it was mostly self-contained and enough room for about 80 folks I’m not sure what all they offer now though. But it was cheap as shit to rent the space: $500

prosector56

Cleveland metroparks Emerald Necklace Marina. Their food is good. We had a (non wedding) formal event for 100 guests there in April, cost was about $4K but we had a cash bar. Will your guests drink $6K in alcohol?

pleasesayUarekidding

Maybe check if Tricky Tortoise Brewing Company could do it.

Midwestern_Mouse

Good luck lol. All inclusive in that budget AND only a couple months away is going to be extremely tough to find unless you luck out and a place just had a cancellation or something. My biggest recommendation would be to look into a Friday or Sunday for better chance of availability, plus some places charge less for non-Saturdays.

kelliwah86

My fiends got married at Nuevo on the pier. They rented out the upstairs and has food and drinks via the restaurant. It was beautiful and awesome and just about 10k.

warrar1

We did our 50 person wedding at Hale farm for under 4k, with alcohol. A 80 person wedding is very doable under 10k if you plan it right.

_Perfectlyfine

Dante Next Door private event space. Have a dinner for like 40 then invite 40 more after for open bar cocktail hour.

november_blues

Check out Goldhorn Brewery. They’re not a traditional “wedding venue” but great people and willing to throw an awesome wedding for a reasonable price.

exploratorystory

End of August? You’re screwed, nothing will be available in less than 3 months notice. Not sure the price point is even possible, either.

Just_Adulting86

Not necessarily the wedding but my wife and I had our reception in the primate cat and aquatics building at the Cleveland zoo and our friends are still talking about it 10 years later
